Studio One

Got my eyelashes done by Sri and let me say a job excellently done. She recommended longer lashes for me to lift my eyes and for an added bonus they made my eyes look wider. They lasted for a couple weeks enduring high head stoves which I hover over on a daily basis and are resistant to water after the glue sets. I have been complimented constantly since I have gotten them because of how natural the lashes lay. I would recommend to anyone looking to get they’re lashes done.

Sri did an amazing job! Even though she was really busy during the holiday season, she made time for me as a new customer trying a new hairstyle and went through the trouble of discussing what I wanted before my appointment to make sure I would have enough time — we ended up moving the appointment to a more open slot since I asked for some complicated coloring. :3
In the end it took longer than either of us originally expected, but I’m glad of the attention to detail that Sri gave my hair — it was worth it and I got so many compliments on it — got the same number of «likes» on Facebook as my wedding did, LOL!

So this review is literally MONTHS late, but that’s just me. Sri is wonderful! This was my second time to see her, first time for color. Decided to take the plunge and go for a non traditional color, purple, and in a bit of an ombré. She mixed the «Dark Purple» and «Orchid» and it turned out gorgeous! Now 2 months later it is of course lighter, and it definitely changes in different lighting which is fun. Sri is clear in what she thinks is best and I really appreciated her attention to detail.
One thing I will mention, is to plan to have cash going into the appt for tip (and please tip– she deserves it!)– it’s honestly a bit confusing how they handle it at the register. Instead of just leaving it all on the card, they give you cash for the amount you put down on the bill. I know it all works out, but I think it is easier to figure if you just have enough on you when going in.

Sri is the only person I let cut my hair because she does a perfect cut and blow dry in a short time frame! All the people who work in the salon are friendly and funny, always willing to make conversation. The absolute best place to go!

Sri is amazing! I had a bad dye job and came by to book an appointment for asap. Sri and Greg were so helpful, friendly, and accommodating. When it was time for my appointment, Sri not only corrected my color, but made it look fantastic! I could not be more grateful! I highly recommend Studio One!

Sri is amazing. She’s really sweet but also very professional. Her haircuts are top of the line and I couldn’t be happier. The atmosphere in the salon is very welcoming and you’re sure to get an awesome haircut. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a new salon.

Studio One is a fantastic place to get your hair cut. I’ve been getting my hair cut from Sri for over 15 years and she truly is a master at what she does. As long as you can give her a brief description of how you envision your finished haircut, you will not be disappointed. I would highly recommend coming to Studio One if you want a great haircut.

Sri is awesome, anything crazy I can come up with she will pull it off! Not even considering going to anybody else with all my color and asymmetric experiments :)

Got my lash extension done by Sri and I absolutely love it. It turned out so good, what a difference it made! My eyes are bright and ready the minute I wake up. Sri did such a great job and I felt truly pampered by her. Thank you Sri!

I’ve been getting my haircuts from Sri ever since I moved to Los Angeles! Sri is fantastic — she always knows exactly what to do with my hair, and she cuts quickly yet attentively. She’s very personable and funny as well — it’s always a pleasure chatting with her. I’ve always been very pleased with my haircuts from Sri, and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new hair stylist.

I went to Sri for the 3^rd time last week. This is amazing! Very rarely I get to experience a salon so good that invites me back!

So I did it! Sri put eyelash extensions on and they look AMAZING! She was so particular and delicate with her application. I LOVE them. Now when I wake up I already have bright eyes that look like I’m having an Awesome mascara day. I haven’t wore any make up since I had it done. It has made my getting ready a snap, so much Faster! love, Love, LOVE them!

If you hadn’t gotten an actually hair cut that you want before, you can come to this place. The studio is well organized, they swipe hair after every session, and the stylist has good hygiene. Siri is my stylist, and she is extremely pro at what she does. Just show her what you want and she can do the job for you. And the shampooing was very well done, and if not you can just rinse your hair. They follow up with your appointment through text message so you don’t need to worried about forgetting it. Overall it’s a good place to get your hair cut

Tried to get into Floyd’s but it was 1.5hr wait so i searched Unilocal and found this place. Called to see if they could take a walk in and the guy said yes. Showed up in 10 minutes and they took me right away. Hair cut was an A. Very good job. The woman that cut my hair was very good. She knew what she was doing. I am more than satisfied with the results. My 2 stars came from when I was leaving. Went to the counter to pay and the guy says «What does Floyd’s charge you. I’ll charge you the same thing.» I don’t know about anyone else but that’s bs. When I asked him what the cost was for a haircut at his spot he hesitated and said $ 35.00. That’s bullshit. But whatever. Was my haircut good? It was very good. Did I like how the guy charged me? No. Will I be going back? No.

Was reprimanded by Sri for not initiating my hair shampoo when her assistant kept looking at her phone, choosing to ignore my presence. Then shampoo lady was ignorant to my dry scalp and gave me bad shampoo. So when Sri attempted to do my hair she noticed dandruff everywhere scolding me for not being communicative enough with her assistant who appeared more interested in her phone. Dandruff flew everywhere upon blow dry. Upon payment Sri said I had a lot of hair so next time I would need to pay more along with booking more time. Hair cut was not great. Never been scolded by hairdresser for not spelling out problem. Really bad.

Fantastic cut, fair price and in & out. Right from the beginning Sri evaluated my hair, broke down exactly what I needed and how to best approach my haircuts. Both she & Greg are very warm, inviting and made me feel right at home. Thanks Sri & Greg!

I hate washing my hair… its curly, thick and freezie and needs to be styled (straightened or mouse and hairspray… its a process) after every wash. I went in to see Sri for a hair cut, which she is great at. We got to talking and she mentioned a keratin treatment she can put in my hair to help with the freeze. I always have doubts about my hair but I got it done. I took a shower this morning put nothing in my hair, waited for it to dry and holy crap my hair is straight without any freeze! I love my hair this morning, I love the cut Sri gave me and especially the keratin treatment. This is going to make my life a little easier!!!

Sri is amazing! I came in at 6pm as a walk In for a trim. I wanted to kill some time before heading home in traffic from Santa monica. Sri was busy but they put me down for 7, and I came back at 7. It wasn’t bad because I went to Starbucks and then came back. At 7, she was with another customer finishing up and I was in the chair by 7:05. I only wanted wanted a trim and to fix my layers and she was very accommodating. She provided some suggestions and opinions, but throughly made sure to cut only what I wanted. Since my hair gets oily easily, she washed it first and then started the trim. She is very friendly and I loved the finished product. I think I found my new hair salon in Santa monica.

We have been taking our son to Sri for years and she is THE BEST.
My son has special needs and requires patience. Sri is incredible!!!
She cuts adults too and is does a super job.

I love this salon! Always so clean and great service. Sri is amazing! She does great highlights and cuts!
They also have an eyebrow lady that does threading and eyebrow tinting. She did a great job as well.
