My interest and enthusiasm for vintage Benz began a little more than 5 years ago. I’ve always been into cars, tinkering a bit and driving something special that might need special attention. With this one needs a mechanic that is attentive to your needs and knows how to communicate, not to mention knows how to fix cars. Sehmi knows his stuff and takes great pride in his work and being honest. His pricing is fair and he’ll always make an extra effort to fix something that you might not of even thought of fixing as a bonus. Great guy! Great shop. And, his head mechanic Bernardo is thoughtful and professional, as well!

I Have a Mercedes ML350, I went twice to Sehmi, the first time i had a transmission shift problem, and the second time the Airmatic wasn’t working properly, both time he did quick fix without charging one dime in the time that others were asking for $$$$ to fix it, i really recommend this guy, he’s very honest and patient.

Sadly, after 3 years of going to Sehmi, I have to reverse course and recommend taking your business elsewhere. Sehmi has become rude and disrespectful toward his customers. He has refused to take responsibility for his shop’s mistakes, even for a loyal and reasonable customer who has poured over $ 1,000 into a still-​unresolved problem. The straw that broke the camel’s back was today when I was told that he didn’t «have time» to call me with an estimate before working on my car. That is illegal and disrespectful. Sehmi, if you’re so stressed out that you can’t treat your customers well anymore, maybe it’s time to retire.

I’ve used Sehmi since 1976 when my new S class Mercedes wouldn’t start and I was luckily right around the corner. Sehmi came over, started it, took it back to his place, worked on it and then didn’t charge me! It was all about fuses; anyone else would have charged me $ 1,000 and given me a song and dance. Sehmi has been my mechanic ever since and, through several Mercedes has always been fair and honest. He’s become more of a trusted friend than suspect mechanic!

Sehmi are always using original parts, so it makes them not so cheap, but they are very honest with you, thus you pay only for really necessary repairs.

Sehmi does it again!!! I was told by another mechanic that my 1995 E320 needed a wiring harness. Do you know how much those are? The part itself is $ 1,300!!! I took the car to Sehmi and told him of the other mechanic’s diagnosis. Sehmi checked the car out and it did NOT need a wiring harness. Sehmi fixed the car and got it up and running well again for less than half of what the other mechanic quoted.
Why did I bother going anywhere else? Stupid i guess. I will never go to another Mercedes mechanic again.

This is a very reliable and honest garage. Sehmi and his staff always take care of my BMW and the prices are very reasonable. If the work doesn’t need to be done, he tells you that. Much better and economical than going to a dealer. A friend recommended him to me and I’ve recommended him to others. Everybody is quite satisfied.

My brake light came on and I’m out of warranty, I called my service rep at the local dealership and got a quote. Sehmi was half the price and close to where I live. I now have a new Mercedes mechanic!

we love Sehmi, he is the best, we’ve been going to him for years, sending friends, recently helped us with our Lexus so we wouldn’t get hosed by the dealer –trust him implicitly!

I was referred to Sehmi by a co-​worker who I believe was his very 1^st client (Miss Natalie). Everything she said was true. I’ve been very happy with the work done and as another reviewer wrote… I shouldn’t have bought the car that he was servicing! It’s was a Benz but I bought the wrong year or so he says. I think he was right too! Talk about the money pit. I was going to G&N Motors which is a HUGE MISTAKE. My car was severly damaged while under their care & they took no responsiblity — which is how I ended up at Sehmi’s front door and been happy about that every since.
I have since sold my Benz and now have a new Mini Cooper under warranty. Sehmi, I will see you again but hopefully not anytime in the immediate future (being a new car) — so, in the meantime, I’m sending your a new customer — TODAY!

Ok so you finally pulled the trigger and bot a Benz. Now you realize you have to service it and it is becoming apparent that pep boys doesn’t carry parts for your car that aren’t made in China. You can A: take it to the dealer and get raped, WI Simonson isn’t that far away, B: take it to independent place, potentially operated by shady characters, or C take it to Sehmi and get your car done properly at reasonable prices. He can service any car, but he specializes in Mercedes. My wife’s Lexus is 14 years old an he has been servicing it since the warranty expired. He will use genuine manufactures parts, he will walk you through the process by putting your car on a lift and pointing things out to you, and he will be honest with you about how long it will take and what it will cost. Try getting that type of transparency at a dealer. He has been in the same location for 20 years +, it’s not by accident. The only downside is that if he’s busy, it can take a while. So if you need an oil change, or some brake pads, anyone can do that work. If you need a major service, or a timing belt replaced, have it done here for half to a ¹⁄₃ of the cost.

Sehmi is a rock star. If you’re looking for a cheap place to have your Mercedes fixed, this is the spot. Sehmi is brutally honest (e.g. he told me the next car I buy should be Japanese instead of another Benz!).
Service is friendly. I dropped my car off in the morning. One of his guys took me to work in Century City. Car was done the same day.
I highly recommend this place.
