History
Established in 1984.
I chose to become a dentist because I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. And the fact is that, for many people with complex or challenging oral or dental problems, making that difference often requires specialized dental care. I pursued a career in the prosthodontic specialty so that I could help people whose dental needs demanded complex methods, more intensive labor and more focused skills. I enjoy dealing with the complexities of reconstructive and esthetic dentistry. I enjoy the combination of art and science that is involved in providing exquisite results. But what drives me most of all are compassion and commitment.
Caring is why I became a dentist. And more than 30 years later, it’s the hallmark of my prosthodontics practice and my reputation. Because I truly care, there is no option for me but to offer comprehensive services, unwavering attention to detail and skill capabilities to match.

For more than three decades, Dr. DiFazio has dedicated himself to improving people’s lives by creating smiles that are attractive, look natural and function optimally. A highly trained prosthodontist, Dr. DiFazio has the advanced skill and capabilities that other dentists trust for outstanding results for even the most difficult cosmetic, restorative and reconstructive cases.
After completing 2 years of prosthodontics training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Dr. DiFazio completed an additional year in maxillofacial prosthodontics. Today he is one of only 350 maxillofacial Prosthodontists worldwide. With 30 years in practice and 25 years as a professor at UMDNJ’s Dental School, Dr. DiFazio’s experience in prosthodontics is unsurpassed in the area. The Consumer Research Council of America has repeatedly named Dr. DiFazio one of America’s Top Dentists — Prosthodontist.
