Pad Thai, salad rolls, peanut sauce, Panang curry, Cashew nut chicken, Thai BBQ chicken… all SO so delicious! Reasonable prices and quick service.

We ordered the salmon with lemon cream sauce and it was really good. Also had the vegetables with rice and peanut sauce. Excellent peanut sauce. Food came out hot and fresh. Definitely recommend!

Make sure you ask for medium spicy because that will be hot! Very fresh food. Great yellow curry and pad kee Mao(drunken noodles). Exceptional flavor. Service is ok and not great drink selection.

The food was good, but we ordered to go. When we came to pick it up my husband asked if the order was correct & the lady told him it was. Got home & they had given us someone else’s order. We called & went all the way back to get our order & they yelled at my husband for not bringing the other food back! If someone else had gotten my order by mistake I would want them to remake it anyway! Poor customer service! Such a shame b/c the food was good however we won’t be back!

I loved the avocado curry(with potatoes and tofu) from here! One of the best curry I’ve ever had. The food came out pretty quickly too!

Well, the food is excellent but the portions, and take out service is terrible. My order, which I waited 40 minutes for after being told it would be 15 min, was wrong when I got home. Wrong meat, and the duck curry came with a leg of duck, nothing cut or easy to edit, just one full leg, which was not enough duck, especially with a $ 14 price tag. Portions are small, and for $ 38 I expected more. Also no silverware or even napkins. Plenty of tables came in, and received their food long before me. It was disappointing and frustrating.

By the time I got home to eat, my food was freezing cold, I live 2 mins away! I ordered lemon grass chicken which comes with rice and the rice(which should be steaming when opened) was not even warm… I paid $ 10 for a cold meal. I’m not happy… This was my treat meal after I get my paycheck. Greatly disappointed :(

It is unfortunate that I chose Lemon Thai as the place to take my cousin for her birthday. I chose based on the reviews. The yellow curry was nice but not a lot of flavor. It is not that it was not hot, but that it lacked much curry flavor. I have had curry that I loved so much that I went back a few days later just to get more. This time it was — forget-able. The Pad Thai my cousin chose she said was not interesting. The coconut soup was Ok and the ingredients were obviously fresh, but the soup was lacking the rich and complex flavor I was hoping for. The other food was similar: Everything was nice, but I have had similar dishes elsewhere in Lake Oswego or West Linn that had more flavor. The amount of food in each item was also smaller than I expected. My cousin’s husband said the Thai tea was not very flavorful. The service was efficient and friendly. The décor was good. I liked the TV screen with images of Thailand, but they were playing American music that we all did not care for, and it would have been nice to have some Thai music. We are not saying it was a bad experience. It was Ok. I cannot fault anyone for any serious wrong things. It just was not interesting food. We do not have a lot of money to spend for eating out, and we were all a bit disappointed. We did not mention it to one another because it is not that the meal was bad. It is just that, when we go somewhere we all really like, we bring it up to one another and say how much we enjoyed it, etc. We just ignored the meal. We gave my cousin a gift for her birthday, which she loved. Then we hugged and went home… We won’t go back..

Update!:(at the bottom) Update: so the food was so delicious and fresh, I ordered again 2 days later! They made up for their mistake with the utensils/chopsticks and even gave me plates. They were very nice over the phone and even when the food was delivered at the door!

Yum! Food is excellent! I’ve had the pad Thai, stir fry veggies and a couple of rice dishes. Oh, and the coconut ice cream. All very good ! Enjoy watching the videos of Thailand while I eat and I love the heart– shaped rice idea. Great place in downtown west linn!

The food was very good, a little pricey for what you get, but the reason for the 3 star review was the arrogant waitress we had, maybe just a bad night, but service could have been better.

I really want to love it and I wish I could post a big fat 5 stars for it but the last 2 visits have left me really disappointed. Our first visit, the service was quick and nice. We ordered quickly and our appetizer came out within minutes. We ordered the crab puffs and they came out frozen in the inside. Not a nice start. We flagged our server and she quickly made it right. We ordered the wings, phad Thai and pineapple fried rice. The food was fantastic and we quickly dismissed the error with our appetizer. Our second visit, they forget our order. They didn’t forget portions of it, they forgot the entire order. We watched as other tables that were seated after us, get their food and practically finish. The most disappointing part of this experience was they continued to help the other tables and walk right by us without even checking in. It wasn’t until I flagged our server down and asked what happened to our order that they finally admitted after another 10 minutes that they did not put it in. They were apologetic, but offered nothing but their apologies for such a gross inconvenience. As I mentioned before, I like this place. The food is good but the service is just so inept, that I doubt we will be back. There are too many yummy Thai joints around town to get wrapped up in this one.

To start, I have eaten at over 25 Thai restaurants in Portland and countless more across the country. That being said, I was terribly underwhelmed as my wife and I walked to Lemon Thai from our new home in the Willamette neighborhood. First things first, it is 97 degrees out and around 7pm on a Thursday evening and the place was sweltering. I don’t know if they have AC or fans, but it was bad enough that we decided to take our order to go. We started out with the cream cheese and crab filled wontons to snack on while we waited on our order of Massamun Curry w/Chicken, Pad Woon Sen w/shrimp and Mango sticky rice. The restaurant was pretty empty with only 4 tables occupied, and yet it took over 10 minutes to get water and menus. We ordered apps and a beer and that took an additional 10 minutes! The waitress was polite but repeated our order 2 times and still had difficulty getting it correct. I think there may have been a language barrier and it became more apparent as the experience progressed. When ordering the to go portion she did not ask about spice level and that seems like a pretty standard thing to address in a Thai eatery. The menu was nice, good pictures and the descriptions included all the ingredients yet when our food arrived, both our dishes were missing some of the ingredients listed and in their place were additional items, which if we had known about, would have been omitted from our order. The massamun Curry was bland, very sweet and didn’t have any sour or spice component at all; it was like eating sweetened coconut milk with TONS of onions, and very strange potatoes that had the texture of solidified paste. The Pad Woon Sen was also a «one note» offering, with shrimp that were actually the only edible portion of our meal; cooked perfectly. The sticky rice was as expected but could have used additional sauce; otherwise unremarkable. I expected better service and food from a restaurant that has 4 stars on Unilocal.Clearly folks here have much different expectations on food quality and service for a $ 40 «quick Dinner» to start,

I get the yellow curry every time for one reason, it is the best I’ve ever had! It’s more soupy and has tons of flavor. The vegetables taste fresh and I add broccoli. They didn’t ask me what level spicy I wanted, and though I’m super sensitive to spicy I thought it was perfect! I’ve had the pad Thai here and it was good but nothing special. The portions here are pretty small so I would suggest ordering an appetizer if you are really hungry. My dad ordered the jerky and it was only five pieces of beef with a small portion of rice wrapped in foil, wouldn’t recommend this. Overall, 4 stars for the curry, docked a star for the small portions and price for quality.

I love Thai Lemon… My favorite table is the one right in-front of the TV, it runs beautiful Thai pictures and some other traveling stuff over and over. This place has improved tremendously since my last review in 2012. It’s one of my favorite Thai restaurants in USA(unfortunately, I still don’t eat Thai food often enough — well, I’ve just returned from Hong Kong and Thailand… I won’t be craving NOT authentic Thai food in USA for a long while).

I’ve gotten food at Thai Lemon twice now. The first was a coconut curry seafood soup. Very good! Of course, one good trip can be a fluke so a couple weeks later I figured I’d try dinner. I got pineapple fried rice with chicken, spicy. It was one of the best examples of excellent, fresh Thai food I’ve had in he last 7 – 8 years. The flavors were borderline artistic and the ingredients were extra fresh. All in all it was much better than I expected.

THISPLACE! I think I’ve been here maybe 4 or 5 times and every time the food is excellent. All of the curries are great and the wonton soup was lovely. There are some great lunch deals as well. I just want to try everything on the menu, yum! :)
