Big improvments with the new ownership structure and management. The food and service are both greatly improved. We had avoided this place for for a while because of past experience, but have recently been pleasently surprised and have gone back 3 or 4 times in recent months. Definatly give it a try and its nice to see new options in West Linn that offer good food and service.

Great local bar with excellent happy hour selections. There was higher end cabs for my GF and all my favorite pints for me. Service was fast and friendly and all the«heavy apps» we had were great. We’ll definitely be back.

OK… BJ Willy’s was good, ceaser, margaritas, pizza… all good. By by BJ… it’s OK. Friendly staff and owner… $ 20 pizza??? Good but not that good. More tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese please!!! Don’t cut back on the ingredients to save $$$$$ I’ll be back… when you add more sauce and cheese.

Good food and atmosphere. We took my Mom and sister out for a May Day lunch at B.J. Willy’s in the historic area in downtown West Linn. They have restaurant seating as well as some tables in the bar — we chose the restaurant portion on a pretty quiet Friday around noon. Our server was friendly and attentive and while the wait for our food seemed a bit long, it was worth the wait. I went«Southern» and ordered the«Catfish Po’Boy»(a fillet coated with Cajun bread crumbs, fried crispy, served with lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce on a hoagie roll.) Their standard side is their homemade kettle chips, which are good, but I paid the $ 1 extra for sweet potato fries. A Po’Boy is by design, a pretty simple sandwich but that’s what I was in the mood for and it hit the spot. My wife ordered the Italian Hot & Spicy Grinder(Pepperoni, salami, turkey, ham, cheddar, pepper jack cheese, pepperoncinis, pickles, tomato, arugula, red pepper aioli and mayonnaise on a toasted hoagie roll and based on my bite of it, it was also good. Mom seemed to really enjoy her Club Sandwich, which she declared«the best ever.» My sister exclaimed about the virtues of «The Big Bomb» burger. So it was a successful visit and I’m sure we’ll return.

We have been coming here for years-it is our local«go to» place. We think the pizza, appetizers, sandwiches, and entrees are great. Happy Hour menu is really good too! Food and service are always consistently good-great…most staff has been around since the beginning, which tells me Jeff(the owner) is a good guy to work for… not to mention he is usually working on site and makes a point to say hello and check in to make sure everything is prepared to our satisfaction. Great local spot.

Willamette Falls Dip sandwich is awesome. Nice service. Lose the really noisy rattling refrigerator at the bar and my review will be 5 stars.

This is the new incarnation of «B.J. Willy’s» since the partners split. We were heavy regulars the first few years, a little less so the past few, so this was our first stop in since the big change and we are… very sad. Many good items(Addiction burger, clam strips for HH) off the menu, menu prices in general are up, the draft beer list has been watered down considerably(come on — this is OREGON) and the attention to detail just does not seem to be there(our area of the bar top hadn’t been wiped down, plate presentation on the dinner orders was lacking and food was only average). Didn’t help that no other patrons at the bar seemed to have an «inside» voice for conversation. It really bothers me to say that we might not return.

. Great food great service! Best mussels in town. Good local feel and down to earth staff. The kids menu is excellent and I think the Dog menu in the summer might be better! Lol The adjacent bar to the restaurant is fun for sporting events and occasionally live music.
