Westlake Faces by Michelle

I first visited Michelle for a facial around 10 years ago and have loved her ever since. She is an excellent resource for all things health and practices what she preaches, beauty from the inside out. She also provided my faux glow for my wedding and did an impeccable job. Couldn’t recommend someone in Austin that even comes close to her level of service and expertise.

I previously reviewed Flutter Lashes, which is actually in the same location as Westlake Faces, but I had to review Michelle, the aesthetician at Westlake Faces separately because she is so great!
I love the look of airbrush tanning, but hadn’t had great experiences with many of the people who do them. It was also a cold or awkward experience, which is not ideal when you’re half naked in a Leonardo da Vinci pose. I had been searching high and low for someone who was friendly and made me feel comfortable. Then I found Michelle!
She is so warm, smiley, and friendly… you just can’t help but adore her. I walk in, talk to her for 15 minutes while she airbrushes me, and leave feeling like a million bucks (despite being covered in tanning solution :) Thanks, Michelle, for always making me feel good about myself!

Yeah, five stars is RIGHT! These ladies know what they’re doing! I love you people! Thank you for knowing the most heinous things about my complexion and still smiling at me!

I don’t even live in Austin anymore, but every time I go home I go straight to Michelle! I’ve been going to Michelle for YEARS and she is the BEST facial I’ve had ANYWHERE (Lake Austin Spa and Europe included). She is so nice and chatty and does all these fun little extras during your facial (like wrap your hands and feet in a warm towel with lotion to keep them soft). She is just one of the sweetest human beings on the planet AND she has miracle hands — but book early, she gets very full!
