History

Established in 1946.

Wright Flowers was started by Everett and Alice Wright in a former eatery at the corner of Northwestern and Evergreen in West Lafayette, Indiana. Business was booming, and they needed a bigger location. They built a shop facing Stadium Ave., near Northwestern Ave. Business was doing great, but their lease on the land was up. So they built a second flower shop facing Evergreen St. which opened in 1972. The new Wright Flower shop was a 2-story with a large basement. In 2007, the third owner’s, moved to Wabash Village Shopping Center behind MCL Cafeteria, West Lafayette.

Meet the Business Owner

Bob and Molly K.

Business Owner

Bob grew up in Madison, Indiana, and Molly grew up in Southern California. They would visit relatives in West Lafayette but never thought they would some day own a flower shop. That reality came true in 1996 when they became the third owners of Wright Flowers. Molly does the designing and Bob handles the books and delivers. They make an excellent team.
