My family was vacationing in West Jefferson during spring break, and we decided to visit a local church before heading back home on Sunday. Since Bald Mountain Church was right down the street, we stopped in for their 10:45 service. We were a little uncertain where to enter, but once we figured that part out, we were greeted promptly by several of the parishioners, and even the pastor himself. The congregation was very friendly. The worship seems to be blended, with traditional hymns and choruses/praise songs both being sung. The sanctuary is large and very beautiful. They also have an early morning service, but we didn’t discover this until our visit. I will definitely be joining them again for worship the next time we are in the area.
