History

Established in 1985.

Scott’s Carpet was started as a small work from home business in 1982 and in 1985 we open at 187 Higbie lane in west Islip. Over time we grew and at one point we had a store on Montauk hwy is West Babylon, this location was a huge faliure. So we kept on going in the West Islip location and took over the the store next door 189 Higbie lane. We also rented a warehouse in Deer Park not open to the public but used for storage. Eventually we got tired of paying rent and decided to buy our own building. In 2003 we relocated to 560 Sunrise Hwy. It took over a year but the construction was compleated. Now Scott’s Carpet has easy access and high visibilty.
