Logan Jackson is a hair genius! I have been living in NYC for three years and have struggled to find someone who understands exactly what I want. From the minute I walked into the salon, Logan listened to me and made me feel comfortable. He is a true professional! No one has ever been able to find the perfect hair color for me, but Logan did just that. Although he is based in LA, he visits NYC often and I can say with 100% certainty that Logan will be the only person to do my hair. He takes the time to understand what you want and he treats your hair like a work of art. He is so passionate about his job, which is demonstrated by his work. I absolutely LOVE my hair and have never been happier with how it looks. GO SEE LOGAN JACKSON!

Just had my 2^nd appointment with Shah and I’ll definitely be back! Salon Benjamin, itself, is gorgeous, and there is rarely a wait for your stylist, shampooer, etc. Shah is a color expert and I love his balayage technique. I get highlights + base color and if you get these done on a regular basis, you know how hard it is to find someone good that you trust. He does an amazing job and I’m super happy with the service, color, and cut. The prices are on the higher side, but its Weho based, and at the end of the day — you get what you pay for. Definitely give Salon Benjamin a try!

I first went to Benjamin after my hairdresser Joan made the move there. The place has an awesome vibe. Everyone, from the front desk to the assistants, to the stylists, has an awesome attitude. And, of course, Joan is just pure class. Love this spot.

Today was my third time seeing Chad Kenyon for color and he is amazing! If you want beautiful sun kissed blonde hair, he’s your guy. He’s super friendly and honest. He won’t give you false expectations and won’t damage your hair. Most importantly, if you are patient, he will absolutely get you to your dream color. I was even hesitant in saying such great things in fear he’ll be forever overbooked. He’s that good!

I like having a super short asymmetrical cut which is always a challenge to find a good stylist to execute as it requires a precision cut and a lot of upkeep. I started going to Leland about 6+ months ago and now won’t go anywhere else. I also like giving the stylist a general idea of what I want but just letting them go for it and relying on their expertise and again Leland is great with this — there is only one other stylist in LA that I have been to who could do this effectively with my hair. Leland does a fantastic job and is great about letting me come in between haircuts to get a quick trim in the back to keep it neat and tidy. On top of that, the salon is well-​kept and in a location that’s easy to find parking. I love the products they use and they have a lot of unique ones for purchase that are local to LA and the folks at the salon are always friendly and down to earth. Salon Benjamin’s dry shampoo is fantastic and I use it daily to add texture. Thanks Leland!

The atmosphere of the salon is lovely. The service is good. My stylist was very nice.
The ‘problem’? I didn’t like my hair cut. I’m rather low maintenance about my hair and my hair is ‘easy’. After I left, my stylist offered a discount if I made an appt for the next cut. I never do that because I need to ‘live’ with the cut to see if I like it; the first time with a stylist.
The 1^st 48 hrs, it was great. After the 4^th day, I thought «this is a bad hair day’. It wasn’t, it was the cut. When I have a good/​great cut, my hair looks good naturally, if blow dried and if flat ironed. This hair cut isn’t making the cut (of that list). So 3.5 stars and I can’t go back. After all, nice atmosphere and service aside: the most important thing is the actual hair cut and this one isn’t great. 3.5 stars

I have searched all over Hollywood for years for the perfect hair stylist and it doesn’t get any better than Pamela Neal. She knows how to really listen to me and give me something stunning even when I don’t exactly know what I want. She is so careful and precise. Sure she’s a bit expensive but honestly I have never walked away with the slightest regret. I always tell her that she can do no wrong and I stand by it. If you want to walk away with the best hair cut of your life go see her.

Speechless!!! The talent of Abby Heerwagen is mind blowing. I hesitate to share this because everyone will start coming here and I don’t want it to be hard to get in, but hey I think the world could use better hair. Everywhere I go I get compliments on my color. And it’s not easy to color auburn hair. Also Jen Loura cut and style. It’s hard to cut awesome bangs and this woman is fantastic! My hubby goes to Alan Martinez for men’s haircut and he does a crazy awesome job! This salon is the best!!!

I first found out about Salon Benjamin and my current colorist, Deanna Beavers, from my agent at a top 5 world renowned modeling agency. My agent sent me to Deanna to fix my blonde hair and make it healthier. Growing up I was a competitive swimmer so my hair was not only damaged from 10 years of sun + chlorine but also the bleach I would use to highlight my own hair. Come to say my hair was brassy and fried! Deanna not only gave me a toned beautiful natural California beach blonde but also saved my damaged hair and it’s the healthiest it’s been since I was 10! I highly recommend Deanna to anyone who’s looking for a senior-​level celebrity colorist who can take your hair to the next level and also genuinely cares about her customers health and well-​being.

I had a haircut with Christa today and she did such a great job! She listened to what I was looking for and really delivered. She has tons of experience and it shows in her cuts. I’ll be back!

I’ve been going to Jeremy Tardo for a little over 8 years now, and have followed him to three different salons. It’s hard to find a hair stylist you can truly trust, and understands exactly what you’re asking for. As far as scheduling goes, he’s always been super flexible with my schedule, and understanding if I’m running a little late (sorry!!). I live in Orange County, and drive all the way to LA, because there’s no one I’d rather have color my hair. I refer him to all my friends looking for hair stylists, with total and complete confidence they will be transformed in to loyal customers.
The atmosphere at Salon Benjamin has to be my favorite out of all the salons I’ve been to. Everyone is very attentive, and nice.

Jeremy Tardo is the best with color! I’ve been trying to get the right shade of blonde for a long time. He transformed my hair into a very natural looking blonde and I would follow him anywhere!

Got referred to Logan by a friend in LA for coloring. Saw his work and loved it enough to let him touch my virgin hair. Lucky for me, he’s bicoastal and I got to snag an appointment at the NYC pop up shop.
I wanted something to lighten up my look with little maintenance and I got just that. My new color reminds me of living under the California sun which was exactly what I wanted and best part — it took him no time at all! So quick and I didn’t even get splashed under the sink. I HIGHLY recommend him, he knows his stuff.

I’m a research fanatic. Before choosing this salon I did a ton of research. I wanted the best of the best! I also researched having my hair cut with a razor and knew whoever cut my hair would need to be highly experienced. Boy was I was wrong.
Now for the story… I have had extensions for a year due to how much weight was taken out of my hair at this salon. That’s right, me… the girl who has done hair campaign after hair campaign. I had it cut to a little past my shoulders and sadly it was cut uneven on one side. What’s worse is I wasn’t told so I left feeling great. Then I got home and my blow out started to fall. Holy smokes my hair was so uneven! By the way, I have extremely thick hair and they took out so much weight (by razor) which caused my hair to appear stringy and lifeless. Even after growing it for the past year it is so thin at the bottom it’s terrifying. It looks like a cat sucked on the ends of it.
Back to the story. After seeing another hairstylist (different salon) they recommended growing, and eventually cutting it even because I’d have to cut off another 5 inches to make it even. A few weeks ago I bought another set of tape in extensions and I’m hoping within the next 6 months my hair will be long enough to take them out, get a haircut, and hopefully be even. I hate being the one to complain on here but because of the horrible uneven cut I received at this salon I have to tell others. The salon refunded my money as soon as everything happened but customers should be informed. I have had to spend over 3k to maintain my hair because of the cut. Please think before getting any sort of cut with a razor. it MUST be maintained more than a normal cut and your hair will be much thinner if you are put with the wrong person. My hair is literally so choppy on one side I HAVE to have extensions. Also, I’m an actor and every agent I have told me I appear 10+ years older with the cut I was given. And remember. mine was shoulder length. I can only imagine if something went wrong with a super short cut. Just because a place charges a lot of money does not make them the best. Do your homework before deciding on a stylist here. For long hair I recommend Luke at Lukaro Salon. Best wishes everyone in your hair journey!
Also the salon has contacted me to «fix» this issue and remove my review but there is nothing that can be done to make the situation better. And I absolutely refuse to ever delete my review because it is factual and no one deserves what I’ve had to deal with.

Super nice salon with very friendly and professional staff! Usually very easy parking on Melrose close to the salon. And of course Ms. Negin Zand, the best colorist you can find, with absolutely amazing touch and feeling! Incredible!

So thankful I found Chad! After removing hair extensions and getting some bad color at other spots, Chad managed to beautify and revive my fragile, fine hair in just 2 sessions, and now it’s never looked better. He truly cares about his clients and I’ve never met anyone more passionate about creating beautiful hair color. I get compliments on my color every day, it’s shiny and healthy… a honey blonde balyaged work of art.

Logan has changed my life! I was always hesitant to color once I got my hair healthy again, I didn’t want to damage it or have to dye every couple of weeks. I wanted something new and fresh though so I was conflicted. Thank God I met Logan, he is so skilled with doing color that now I have been seeing him for over a year and my hair is still in AMAZING condition. Plus, he does my color in such a precise way that when my roots grow in they blend so well that I can go 3 – 4 months without retouching the roots. He works to compliment my natural color so my brows and roots look so natural that people think this is my real hair color!
Every 2 months I will do a protein treatment in-​between color to keep it looking healthy and shiny. He will trim my ends when needed and I swear my hair has been growing faster since he started using his magic on me. Also, he got me hooked on a great deep conditioner called Vegetarian Miracle. Its does wonders.
I really love the salon, I used to see Logan elsewhere and followed him here… and I am glad I did, this place is so cool. The décor is so cool, the staff is so helpful and they carry some really great products. My favorite is The Cobra Snake hair mural they have.

I am always pleased with the cleanliness, customer service, and results at Salon Benjamin!
You truly feel like you’re receiving an experience when you get pampered with French press coffee and cookies.
My hair always looks fantastic (Logan does my coloring,) and I always get the color I ask for (no matter how crazy it is!)
Not to mention the overall vibe of the salon, equipped with good music and friendly staff, I recommend Benjamin to anyone looking for a hair experience!

Christine is amazing! She did an AMAzING job! I love it… I am a picky customer and called not knowing who I wanted. I told the reception the look I like and she made it happen. Her color look natural, shiny, and vibrant.
I went to Leland for the haircut and this almost everyone does poorly but Leland made my hair gorgeous. Thank you so much Christine and Leland! I’m super happy!

I died my hair out of the box black for almost ten years. I could not imagine that it’s possible to get back to brown with lighter highlights & even healthy hair! He is amazing & I will definitely go back every time I’m back in California. Now I’m not only a surfer, even my hair looks like it :) I was in best hands every time I went there & left the salon more than happy! Thank you my dear friend***
