Established in 1986.

For the past 28 years we have been serving traditional high quality Italian dishes including Calzones, hand-​tossed specialty pizzas & delicious traditional pastas to our neighbors and friends in West Hollywood. We only use natural and fresh ingredients; make everything from scratch and keep it simple.

Pizza was decent but customer service was horrible. Was ignored when standing at desk with no line and then didn’t even get my change. Cashier threw out the receipt before even asking if I wanted it. Thankful, I was able to control myself.

Slices of pizza are great too if you’re in a hurry. Garlic bread is a mast! Staff is super friendly.

Came here after smoking a cigar at the shop next door. Was just looking for a quick bite to eat but the pizza I ordered was awesome! I got the Mamma Rosa personal pizza with no olives and it was great. Came out piping hot and it was a pretty decent size too for a personal pizza.

Ordered pizza through Eat24. They arrived under estimated time. Delivery dude was pleasant.
Pizza was great. Thin crust. Understandably it wasn’t as ‘hot’ as it would have been had I been at the restaurant so I placed them on a frying pan and made it extra hot (and crispy!). Great job on the Chicken Garlic Mushroom pizza.

Ordered spaghetti bolognese with added meatballs.
When the food arrived, on time, it looked like they opened a can of Chef Boyardee added Small, flavorless, meatballs almost «mini» and on the side (separate order 8.99) wilted warm ceaser salad with soft croutons.

Just ate here for the first time. Got a personal pizza made for me in around 10 minutes. YUM! And I’m a total food snob. Food has to be super fresh and tasty for me to like it. Thumbs up, way up for this place. Really genuinely good food, came out fast and fresh. Got a really good size portion too. My personal pizza looked like a medium to me!
And the Asian guy out the counter– super friendly and helpful, got service with a smile.
Would most definitely eat here again!

I had almost given up on pizza delivery places by me because of quality and/​or price. I ordered a veggie pizza for delivery and it was great. It was delivered hot, with a hot side of marinara that I had asked for. The crust was good and so were the toppings. The delivery guy was friendly too. And they are open late. I’m glad I found this place!

I think the prices are a bit high for what you get. I love the chicken parm sandwich so I thought I’d try the dish which was the biggest mistake ever. It wasn’t your traditional chicken parmegan by any means. The pasta wasn’t good, the sauce was really bland & the chicken was also tasteless. It wasn’t breaded which I was looking forward to. It was a waste of $ 16! I also tried another pasta dish & was extremely disappointed. My 2 cents– stick with the sandwiches. they never disappoint. After all, the place is called Panini! Not pasta.

Best pizza I’ve eaten so far in SoCal (or definitely the best pizza in a very long time)!
We had pizza with chicken feta onions red sauce mushrooms and it was great. The crust which I’m picky about was perfect, not chewy or too crispy. Just thinking about it is making me hongray!
The place is a chill hole in the wall divey pizza place which makes it such a real refreshing change from all the other trendy things on sunset. east coast pizza parlor feel. You can eat in or take our and have a beer while you wait and they actually have a pretty decent beer selection.
The Asian guy who works the counter also has amazing energy. He’s probably the nicest person I’ve met in an LA restaurant and had such incredibly good energy and enthusiasm I’d go there just for for a major energy boost!

Tasty, friendly, big menu, convenient and quick. With delivery, dine-​in, al-​fresco, as well as a decent beer selection, anyone who cannot appreciate the simple charms that add up to whole lot – especially in this section of town – probably is against the entire concept of what a hidden gem truly is. It’s top notch and genuine – much like the smiles of the folks behind the counter.
As long as they are there, I’ll be returning.

I stayed in Hollywood for a few days and ordered from here twice because the first time was soooo good. I had the Margherita Pizza and the Lasagna. Both were great but the Lasagna was to die for! Also had Tiramsu. .it was yummy! Definitely eat here again when I return! Fast service as well and the perfect order both times! And hot food!

My roommate and I are both from the east coast. We’ve been looking for our ‘go to’ pizza place since we moved to west Hollywood a few months ago — we’ve gone to SO MANY — (at least 25) — and panini takes the cake! It
May not be exactly New York style but it’s fantastic!

Panini is my go to spot on Sunset for pizza and pasta. The quality of the food is great and they have spot on service. My usual is the Chicken Alfredo pasta or the House Special pizza. Both always hit the spot and you can tast the love they put into the food.

This is for delivery, and I didn’t try the pizza… but still, I wasn’t super impressed with the food. The wings were more fried then they were meat and there needed to be much more hot sauce involved.
The salad was mostly ice berg lettuce and the amount of meat and olives and things on top were pretty lackluster.
For the prices, I’m not sure I’d order mediocre food from here again… was simply trying to quench a craving for wings… didn’t work :/

My review is devoid of pizza, so take that into consideration. My friends and I were staying at the London, didn’t want to deal with the hassle of the valley fetching our car, and wanted something cheapish, nearby, and worthy of being called a late night snack. I don’t know how «panini and pizza» got on that list, but we wound up here.
We ordered the appetizer sampler. Everything was good, but I wouldn’t say like «completely awesome!!!» or anything. Just good… Satisfying. But again, I didn’t have pizza. It’s probably bomb.
The owner? (and his friends at the counter?) seemed very friendly for 11pm and being open with us as their only customers. Overall, a good late night snacking experience. But I wish I had tried a panini.
