Recently I experienced back and excruciating Sciatica pain. My Internist had benefited greatly from seeing Dr. Nourmand and highly recommended I see him. Dr Nourmand saw me the next day (Saturday) and I started feeling relief immediately. My problem emanated from sitting, with poor posture and working with a computer for 35 years. Dr Nourmand totally understands the body and knows how to carefully and sensitively restore function and I have stretched and exercised as directed. After 3 weeks of amazing therapy I feel I own my own body. The pain is gone, I am more flexible and balanced, and my posture has improved greatly. I know this is only the beginning. I stand upright, am taller and look forward to a healthy and long life. I play golf often, am back to it and expect my game to improve. Dr. Nourmand is a caring and sensitive healer. I am so thankful that he has taken such good care of me.

Dr. Nourmand is the best in the business. He really takes his time with his patients to ensure they are getting the best treatment possible. I highly recommend him! So many chiropractors never fully solve your issue, but Dr. Nourmand gets to the root of the problem to make sure you are healed. I’ve had two auto accidents and I wouldn’t go to anyone else except him.

I had pain in my heel for the last 2 years. I was initially seen by a podiatrist. unfortunately, he could not relive my pain.
Then I visited an orthopedic surgeon and again he was of no help to me.
Last July I was referred by one of my friends to Dr. Mark Nourmand and for the first time with his experience and expertise of the human anatomy and physiology he was able to get me out of pain within a few treatments. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Nourmand is simply put, a miracle worker. I don’t know how to adequately convey how he blows every single physical therapist, bodywork specialist, masseuse, and other chiropractors out of the water. Dr. Nourmand has given me the only success and progress after three years of unsuccessful treatments. I have herniated discs in my neck from two serious accidents and I have gone to so many doctors, which is an exhausting and frustrating experience when you’re unable to find relief from chronic neck and back pain. What’s different about Dr. Nourmand is the immediate and lasting results from a session with him — he has created his own technique of breaking up muscle fascia and scar tissue that causes the muscle to be fixed and tight. This allows more movement in the muscles which then relieves your joints. I live in San Francisco but travel to LA almost once and month and he is always able to accommodate my schedule. Which brings me to my next point — it is so easy to schedule an appointment with him as he texts and best of all, will come in to the office on Saturdays and Sunday’s. What?! It’s basically unheard of. Dr. Nourmand loves what he does and it truly comes out in his work. I have never met a more honest, thorough, and effective healer, and I just wish everyone could do a session with him to get relief. If you’re even reading this review or shopping around for good doctors, know that you have found the best of them all.

The best doctor in town! He is a healer! He is my to go doctor. He has helped me alot. I couldn’t move due to some back pain and I was pain free after a few visits. He has great techniques and works with pressure points. I felt relieved right way! He is extremely kind and understands the body very well. I don’t know what I would do without Dr. Nourmand. I highly recommend Dr. Nourmand.

I’m a serious cyclist… Okay, cycling addict is a better description. I live for my time on the bike.
In December, I began having serious pain in my right shoulder. It was so bad I had to stop riding. I found a chiropractor near me who did the usual rack and crack stuff as well as some deep tissue massage. After three weeks, I was not improving. Worse, I was having serious withdrawl symptoms from lack of riding. I was getting demoralized.
I decide to look up Dr. Nourmand. I’d gone to him years before when I was a semi-​professional ballet dancer. It had been a long time and I was thrilled to see he was still practicing. Dr. Nourmand got me in to see him the same day and within a few moments had accurately diagnosed my issue — damage to the muscles in the rotator cuff.
Scary. Other doctors would recommend surgery, an ugly prospect which would have kept me off the bike for months. But Dr. Nourmand is NOT other doctors.
He immediately got to work, breaking up damage in the muscles of the shoulder and started retraining my muscles to work properly again. By the time I left that first session, i felt better than I had in weeks. After two sessions I was back on the bike. After only 6 sessions, I feel stronger and better than ever before. He corrected posture issues on and off the bike and now I’m riding stronger than I rode before the shoulder flared up.
I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Nourmand. It’s almost like he can feel the problems in your body when he touches you. And he’s funny, patient, knowledgeable and doesn’t believe in racking and cracking his patients.
Go to other chiropractors to get your back adjusted. Go to Dr. Nourmand to be healed.

He really works miracle! He fixes my pain without me even telling him where hurts. I saw results after one session. I recommend him 100%!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Nourmand since I was rear ended 2 months ago. He has helped me so much! He is so calm, kind, and aware of how the body works. He is not your typical chiropractor who just does adjustments. He evaluates the whole body and does point pressure and other therapies. I have never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen by him and I’m always able to get an appointment that fits my schedule.

Dr. Nourmand is fantastic, I HIGHLY reccomend him. He’s so kind, caring, and calming… and really knows his stuff. I so enjoy that he does not do the typical cracking, and instead chooses to work with pressure points and healing the muscles. I’ve been seeing him for almost a month now after I got in a car accident, and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Nourmand has given me back quality of life and thanks to him, I have been living pain free for the first time in 37 yrs. I went to him approximately 7 weeks ago with a pinch nerve, and old injury on my left shoulder, and pain on my right toe. I use to ballroom dance gave it up in 1998 because of toe pain and had been living with it ever since. My foot would swell up by the end of the day and I could not even wear heels. I’m back to my dancing and living pain free after my first 4 visits, he made my shoulder better within the first 2 visits, I would recomend him highly to anyone that’s in pain, his technique is incredible he has the magic thumbs, I’m so grateful that I found him, his physical therapy is number 1 thank you Dr. Nourmand and his staff

i first came to see dr. nourmand about 6 years ago. i had torn my medial meniscus and the ortho i went to see said i had to have surgery. i’m a dancer and felt reluctant; many friends had told me of failed surgeries. the work i did with dr. nourmand, as unconventional as it was, saved me from having to get that surgery done. he used his magic thumbs to release tension deep in the muscles and then showed me the cause of the weakness or tightness that led to the injury to begin with. after this, we strengthened areas i wasn’t even aware existed! dr. nourmand has extensive knowledge about the body and the way humans use it – and is unconditionally generous about informing the patient how s/​he can use this knowledge for her/​his health. he’s an intense man — not for sissies — and he’s a demanding doctor, will want to see you on his terms until he thinks you are healed. but at the end of the day — if anything goes wrong with my body (and i’ve had some significant strains over the years), i return to him. he’s the first person i recommend to people. dr. nourmand is a special doctor with a big, caring heart.

Dr. Nourmand has been treating me on and off for over a year now and he is truly the most amazing doctor I’ve ever known. I’ve suffered from a sore lower back and ligament damage in my knee. Every time I see him, I walk out of his office pain free and feeling strong. Dr. Nourmand always prescribes rehabilitation exercises that, coupled with his treatments, literally make the problem go away. I can not say enough about this doctor. Before you go to a orthopedist, please see Dr. Nourmand.

I partially tore my MCL an damage my meniscus. I was told I’d have to e on crutches for 3 – 4 weeks with an additional 3 – 4 weeks. After 2 weeks I was off my crutches and after a couple more weeks I was up and playing basketball again. Dr Nourmand is truly an exceptional Dr and highly recommended.

He saved me!!! I was told by my radiologist that I wouldn’t be able to play tennis for 10 weeks since I tore my calf muscle, let alone walk. After 3 sessions of physical therapy with Dr Nourmand I started walking. Now 6 weeks later I’m back to playing tennis.

I visited Dr. Nourmand a couple of weeks ago for a back pain that I had.
When I arrived at the office I was greeted by the receptionist and was offered something to drink while I was waiting for the doctor. My appointment was at 11.30 and the doctor actually saw me right on time. Minimal waiting time. What I really liked about this doctor, is the fact that he listen and pays attention to your situation and tells you exactly what it takes to eliminate pain. Doctor diagnosed me and told me that it will be, at times, painful and that I need to commit to become better. He told me that he would like to see me between 6 – 9 times for treatment. I’m now going for my 6^th treatment and I have to honestly say that I do not have back pain anymore. I’m extremely happy and this doctor does wonders. He’s the most knowledgeable, kind and honest chiropractor I’ve been to so far. I would recommend Dr. Nourmand to anyone who’s suffering from any body ache!
