Very unprofessional people work in this place I truly can’t believe the treatment I was getting as a first time patient. I would not recommend this doctor office to anyone.

Dr. Mody may be good; however, this is the worst run doctor’s office I’ve ever encountered. First, they wouldn’t even make an appointment until I faxed my insurance card and driver’s license. This is absolutely unheard of. Since I’m off work I don’t have access to a fax, so I asked if I could email copies to them, or verbally give them all the information on my card. Answer: No, we only take faxes. So I had a friend fax the information several days ago.(I have a serious medical condition & needed to get in ASAP.) I finally got a voicemail message today telling me they don’t take my insurance. Well, guess what?! My insurance isn’t an HMO with a limited network. I can go to any doctor I want and the insurance will cover it. So when they say they don’t take it, that doesn’t even make sense for my insurance. But my insurance does pay a higher amount if the doctor is in their network. I looked this doctor up and he is, in fact, in my insurance company’s network. So in addition to operating in a very inefficient, out-of-date manner, they don’t even know what they’re talking about. I found this office operation absolutely infuriating. Fortunately, I made an appointment with another neurologist and I was able to get in within two days.

Cyrus Mody is a Scam Artist. After multiple confirmations via phone and email I showed up twenty minutes early to my appointment. The two front desk woman: Woman No. 1 — An Armenian woman. Horrible, awful, cynical, unprofessional and Woman No. 2 — middle-aged caucasian. Nice but useless. Asked me if I came in for worker’s comp. I said«No, we talked about this on the phone that I am only to see the neurologist after my motorcycle accident.» After talking about me RIGHTINFRONTOFME they told me that the doctor cannot see me because he is worried he might have to testify about my injuries in court. HELLOIDIOTALERT We discussed this on the phone! AND: Two days before my appointment you received a fax from my lawyer asking for medical bills for the PERSONALINJURYCASE. After trying my best to see the Dr. as I just need help I called my lawyer and they spoke to Woman No. 1, who I literally had to shove my phone into her hand because she did not want to be held responsible. They hung up on my lawyer. They told me to leave and I will not be seeing the dr. By the way I have the world’s best health insurance so there was no issue there. I missed another very important dr. appointment because of the gross incompetence of this staff. If you cannot even trust them with making appointments, how can you trust them WITHYOURBRAIN’S HEALTH. I am exploring my legal options at this time, because they still billed my insurance company.

The good news is I’m going to live. I went to this doctor with a minor problem and expected to be laughed at. However, the doctor was extremely thorough and even called me back after I had left the office to tell me he’d been thinking and thought of something else I might try. I had a hard time getting an appointment to see him(it took three months to get in to see him and then the doctor cancelled that appointment) and one of the receptionists(who I interacted with only by phone) was rather snippy and condescending. For a doctor who was so difficult to see, it was surprising to find his office waiting room completely empty in the hour I was there. If you need a neurologist, this guy is good.
