Rushed in pre-party looking for Tom Collins mix. The employee(owner?) had never heard of such a drink. So that’s a little surprising. When I explained to him what it was he told me they had Bloody Mary Mix. I’m not sure how that’s relevant. Then he shook his head at me and walked away. I suggest you do as he did and not bother.

My friend need to stop in here for aspirin which Whole Foods didn’t carry. I should have bought my cold bottle of water here as it probably was a lot cheaper than Whole Foods.

Avoid this place. Especially if the creepy, miserable, younger, Russian guy, Oleg, is working and especially if you are a woman and the place is relatively empty or it is later on at night. That is, unless you enjoy being cornered in aisles, inappropriate, uninvited touching and being harassed and insulted. I have complained several times over the last few years to the owner about this worker and nothing has been done. So, they’ve gotten the last of my money. There’s a much better liquor store at the corner of Fairfax & Sunset, Whole Foods next door has a fine selection of wine and, if you need other stuff, 7 – 11 is right around the corner and all the clerks in these places are professional, not psychotic weirdos and seem much more interested in earning your money. Additionally, the prices on all items in the store vary based on who is working and what kind of mood they are in. So, if you like getting gouged and treated like garbage, this is your place. Otherwise, do your vice shopping elsewhere.

Alex is my BFF. If that tells you anything about the state of my liver. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

The sign actually reads«Liquor Time Liquor.» This means they are serious. They have a great selection of alcohol and the clerks are some of the funniest guys I have come across on a three day bender. Some of the most interesting conversations I have ever eavesdropped on have been waiting in line here. If you’re in the area, need a drink and have some time to kill, it might be time for Liquor Time Liquor.

I’ve come into this place so much that when my mom came to visit and went to get cigarettes they asked«are you Jenni’s mom?». These guys know their shit. One day they were out of Marsala wine; they found me a perfect sweet wine that tasted very similar for around the same price. They’ve got some pretty obscure stuff in here and they’ll be honest in recommending something better. The fact that they have Carlsberg gets them at least 3 stars(and it isn’t overpriced). Granted, the staff at times can be so friendly that it’s hard to just get in and out of the store, but it’s always a fun experience. It doesn’t matter if you go in at 10am or 1am; the name alone should tell you they don’t judge. Any time is liquor time.
