La Brea Cigarettes

Called to ask if they had a zippo butane refill cartridge. The phone was answered by a female in a very lethargic and slightly annoyed: «hello?». Me: «oh hi!?! Is this the tobacco shop?» Her: «yes» like duh, you called me.
Wow. At that point I was already very disappointed in the way this was going but I proceeded to ask my question anyway. She didn’t have it and hung up on me. If their store customer service is anything like their phone service, AVOID!

Not sure how to rate this one. It says newsstand on the front of the place but they don’t sell newspapers or magazines. They do however offer good service on cigarettes. They should probably change their signage though.

Went here based on the 1^st. review, and I’m quite pleased with my tobacco pipe, which was $ 15ish, and complimentary lighter with kitties on it. Yes. Kitties. My boyfriend wants to steal it.

What they don’t want you to know (actually they do, they have glass cases full of them) is that they also sell «CONCERT AIR» DEVICES! Oh yeah, they got em all here. Those damn «concert air» containers! They’ve got big ones, small ones, unbreakable ones, tye dye looking ones, fake Sharpie looking ones, fake cigarette looking ones and even pretty zebra striped flower ones!
I’m tellin ya, if you want a glass holder for your «concert air» to «hang out in» until you take the «souvenir shirt» in, «try it on» for a bit and then «toss it back out into the crowd,» then this is the place to go! Much cheaper than other «concert air» holder selling places and the guy behind the counter is cool… or so i hear, since I NEVER go to CONCERTS!
