Their tuna melt sandwich is soooo good! Honestly the best tuna melt sandwich I’ve ever had.

Best kept secret of west Hollywood. People come here for the ice cream, but they come back for the tuna sandwich. The proprietary blend of tuna makes it a consistent delight every time you take a bite.

I’ve lived around the corner for the last two years but had only recently ventured into this tiny ice cream shop. This run-down strip mall and the shop’s not-so-glorious storefront never attracted me, until I finally found the courage to go in and tasted their milk tea ice cream. Now I’m absolutely addicted. The ice cream here is unlike anything I’ve had. They are light but true to their flavors. Be careful though, as you may easily finish a pint without feeling the overdose. Many reviews seem to say that they are diary-free, but I didn’t look at the labels careful enough to know that. I guess it could be the reason for their ice cream’s delightful texture. There’s also something sentimental about seeing this same guy(shop owner I assume) working tirelessly around-the-clock to create home-made ice creams. I’m officially a fan.

Not sure what’s driving the ratings here. this is in a strip mall, and really not much better than going to a gas station. The server/owner was very friendly and certainly a clean place to get ice cream or whatever they have. Nothing wowed me, but not sure i would go back unless i really lived close by.

Today it’s 109 degrees and I walk into this ice shop were I’m ignored and treated as if Ive disturbed the Koran owner a middle aged women. I noticed she was very polite to the white customer ahead of me, but when I ask for a sample she got irritated, when I asked which was which she stated the sign is right there and then went back to texting on her phone. I truly felt that she didn’t want to help me because I was an African women. This is truly sad to have to experience this, when I was attempting to support a small business owner on a beautiful hot sunny day in Los Angeles.

I’ve been going to Ice Cream Plus for for close to 8 years now. They legitimately have the best tuna melt I’ve ever had, it’s a must try. Their veggie burger is pretty amazing too. Their prices are super reasonable and portions are extremely generous. Their ice cream is also a hidden secret in LA. The flavors are amazing(my favs are the coconut chipmunk, taro, cream cheese, hazelnut and milk tea.) A lot of them are sugar and dairy free too but you would never be able to tell. Check this place out! Super sweet husband and wife team!

This place is the best! And fantastic customer service as well. The real deal gelato. When we go to to Italy — no gelato we eat there can compare to Ice Cream Plus. Seriously! Not exaggerating. And they have lots of other yummy food. It’s a neighborhood gem.

Who’d have thought that a hole-in-the-wall ice cream shop would serve the most delicious tuna melt in all the land? Me neither. But they do. And it’s extraordinary. Been there 3 times in one week. Addicted.

I absolutely love this place, i come here mostly for the tuna melt sandwich which I used to drive about 60 miles a few years ago to come get it, that’s how good it is, their ice cream is homemade and fresh everyday, very light and low on sugar yet very tasty, Kim owner is a super nice and polite guy and always smiles in ur face, overall very highly recommended if ur in the area.

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years — I used to come because my mom was diabetic and they had sugar free ice cream. The SF coffee ice cream in particular was good that I keep coming back for more. The owner, Mr. Kim, has always been lovely and he treated my mom with such respect. I will always remember that. The ice cream is some of the best homemade in the city — and Mr. Kim takes great pride in the way he makes it and the new flavors he comes up with. I should have written a review much sooner on this place — it’s one of my go to places when I want something sweet but not fattening! Yes he has regular ice cream as well but there’s many choices in the sugar free and dairy free as well as non-fat or low fat varieties.

Love this place. The sugar free ice creams & yogurts are delicious, the juices are great, & the guy who runs it is super nice. Great mix of tasty treats, with some equally tasty but healthier options thrown in there, if you’re in the mood. Big fan.

Really good dairy free ice cream! And surprising delicious tuna sandwich. I go once a week to Ice Cream Plus.

The food is ok but the poor rating is for the lack of good customer service and pretty sure they keep it deathly hot in there to keep customers from dining in while ripping you off at $ 5 for half a sandwich.

Some of the best dairy free ice cream I’ve ever had. You wouldn’t even know if it didn’t say on the tub. Very well priced and the guy who works there is very nice.

Okay first off let me start with the TUNASANDWICH and the HAM sandwich. HOLYSHIZZZZ… and the soup… Omgosh, seriously drooling just thinking about it. All options here are amazing! I’ve been coming here since high school, for well… Whenever I’m craving amazing healthy sandwich and soup options. Also the ice cream is homemade and is freaking delicious. Seriously, if you guys are looking for healthy, fast, and SUPER affordable come here! I’ve even ran into celebrities like Britney Spears and Adam Brody here!

So I don’t often hit up ice cream places for no reason, but I did stop in this place just to check it out and decided to funny enough get a tuna sandwich with some chips. The place is pretty simple and small but the sandwich was not bad at all!!! Top that I’ve had two scoops of chocolate ice cream and my girlfriend got strawberry and I would say is a pretty cute date on and off. I recommend checking out this place if you’re walking by it wouldn’t hurt you at all

Located in a sketch little shopping center on Sunset, I didn’t expect much from this nondescript store front. Mismatched faded posters line the walls inside. Truly, nothing about this place visually stood out to me and unfortunately, this is the sole reason it took me so long to finally give this place a shot. But I did, and gosh darn if that ice cream isn’t A+. Tried the Milk Tea and Almond Crunch with Rum ice cream. Milk Tea lo and behold tastes like the strongest, most fragrant milk tea you’ve ever had. All I needed to complete the dream was some frozen lumps of boba. The Almond Crunch with Rum was equally as flavorful. The rum flavor wasn’t overwhelming and instead really added that extra needed kick in the face. As I like to put it, this is pretty much a recovering alcoholic’s wet dream. Ice cream was only about $ 4.75(price check??) for a medium and they give you two big ol’ hefty scoops. Ahhhhhmazing. Oh, also, try that tuna melt everyone on Unilocal is raving about. It’s got corn and peas! Corn! $ 4.95(price check again??) for a half and $ 6.95 for a full.

This place is my hidden gem. They have an amazing peanut butter/chocolate sorbet that’s non-dairy. Also, Ice Cream Plus has the best tuna melt in LA. I know that sounds insane, but it just is. Free tea or coffee with your meal too!

Not the flashiest storefront on Sunset Blvd but I’m pretty amazed by this place! For starters, they had FIVE non-dairy options the day we came in. The helpful man behind the counter(owner? manager?) was proud to announce that two of the non-dairy flavors were Asian flavors. Taro and Red Bean. I’ve never had Red Bean ice cream before so he gave me a sample which quickly won me over. Perfectly sweet and creamy! Underneath my scoop of Red Bean ice cream, I got a scoop of the non-dairy Chocolate Peanut Butter. OMG!!! The flavors are so rich and creamy. In amazement, I happened to look back up at the menu and saw the words«Homemade Ice Cream» and realized why this tasted so good! The small size will get you a generous two scoops so you can get two flavors and it only cost $ 3 and some change. Not as pricy as Cool Haus or Scoops and dare I say, BETTER than Cool Haus or Scoops or any place I’ve had non-dairy ice cream! Less pretentious too :) A+ for Ice Cream Plus!
