Delicious food and I love the variety of healthy options. Portion size is perfect and value/price is great for the neighborhood. I would highly recommend coming here for lunch/dinner. Parking is available in the back. Staff and service are attentive and quick.

Contrary to the the restaurant’s name, there’s more to this spot that corn. I’ve had FCG before but this was my first time going to the actual restaurant location and I really enjoyed it. It’s located on crowded Santa Monica Blvd in WeHo so parking can be tricky. It’s a fast casual dining spot with plenty of outdoor seating for our sunny SoCal days. The menu is a little overwhelming because they have so many options from salads to plates to pizza and sandwiches. I don’t think you can go wrong. Everything looked fresh and healthy. After much debate, I opted for skirt steak taco plate which came with 3 tacos(served with a mlld salsa) and I got a side of corn(naturally) for $ 11.95. It was a nice portion, it’s a tiny bit spendier than a Chipotle or Poquito Mas but sometimes you just gotta do it. I don’t have any pictures of the food because I inhaled it so fast.

Fresh & definitely good healthy food. I have mixed feelings because I’ve had it a few times, but I think the last time the chicken wasn’t full cooked & upset my stomach so I’ve been hesitant to go back.

WOW, I LOVE Fresh Corn Grill, especially the WeHo location. Not only is the food fresh, healthy and delicious, but it’s priced reasonably and the portion sizes are quite generous. I like the casual system of ordering at the front, taking a number and finding a seat — usually this doesn’t always work at super busy places where tables aren’t ready available *ahem* Urth Café *ahem* but here it does. This place is never too crowded. So many delicious options, service is great, friendly folks, nothing more you can really ask for. This place is similar to Tender Greens, which I also highly recommend. Only difficult part may be parking, but the location is perfect for locals. Keep up the good work FCG!

If you’re debating between TENDERGREENS&FRESHCORNGRILL… I’d say FRESHCORNGRILL is the WINNER! There are FARMOREOPTIONS over here, and the line isn’t massively long(aka: if you’re HANGRY, you won’t get arrested for biting someone while waiting in line). I’ve been getting the salmon plate with two sides and it’s absolutely PERFECT! The perfect amount(I’m not too full but I’m not too stuffed), the perfect price($ 12.99) and the perfect taste(I always want to lick my plate when done)… Get FRESH… Not TENDER ;)

BEST eatery HANDSDOWN in West Hollywood. I love my neighborhood more than others I’ve lived in, and especially because I can walk to wonderful eateries. Fesh Corn Grill is so inexpensive, fresh and succulent tasting. You can order ala carte or specific menu items. I am predisposed to the skirt steak with sauteed kale and yams! Food arrives fast and it’s always served with your choice of sauce. The service is quick and you can order upon arrival, take a number and remain seated while you wait — less than 15 minutes every time! Thank you for being the best!

Finally decided to try this place and I’m a fan… it was pretty packed for a Sunday night but there were no issues. Upon arrival you immediately see the menu that offers a variety of options from soup.salad.pizzas.tacos and more. I opted for the tostada salad and my friend opted for the chicken soup and half cobb salad. Both salads were amazing and large portions. The soup was good too but it had a little spicy kick. After you order you are given a ticket and find your seating. There is indoor and outdoor seating with heaters. When your food is ready the staff will bring it to your table. This place is located in weho so parking can be difficult. I wasn’t able to find the lot so I grabbed a meter. I really enjoyed my salad and welcome you to give it a try!

I don’t understand why this place is not called the Fresh Basil Grill, since that’s the star in every dish. The cabbage slaw tastes like pure licorice because there’s so much basil in it. I ordered two salads that included it as well. They must have one person in the kitchen whose sole job is to chiffonade basil. They don’t even mention it on the menu in some of the item descriptions. That’s a problem. Aren’t you writing the menu for the purpose of explaining what people are going to get so they know what to order? I ordered soup twice, butternut squash one visit and corn chowder the next. I don’t remember much about the butternut squash soup, except that it was sweet and that the guy at the register had recommended I order it because it was seasonal. I didn’t really like it and thought I should have just gone with the corn chowder and not listened to him. I found out on my next visit that I was wrong again. The corn chowder tastes like basil through and through. I left all of the liquid in the bowl and only ate the corn I fished out and strained with my spoon and fork. The issue is a matter of balance, not preference. Nobody can possibly taste around all that strong licorice flavor.

I liked this place a lot. Fresh, tasty interesting casual menu, good coffee, great prices, large windows brings in light throughout, charming outdoor space facing Santa Monica, interesting eclectic West Hollywood crowd and delicious food for very good prices. They serve alcohol and food is served with real China and cutlery despite the price point being similar to a fast casual place. People working there could not be friendlier, nicer and more helpful.

I came here for the first time with some friends who had been here plenty of other times. The customer service at the register was very good I ordered the turkey meatloaf grilled corn and mushrooms. When we received our food the grilled corn the turkey meatloaf and my friends potatoes were cold. Because all three of us shared the same experience we had asked the waiter if they could do something to rectify the situation. He was very happy to get more potatoes and grilled corn for all three of us but when it came back the plates they were served on were extremely hot. This basically told us that they put this in the microwave and brought it back out. Both my friend stated this was definitely an off night because they’ve had nothing but great experiences here so I will have to go back and try again. Maybe at that point I will change my rating.

Pricey. Great little place with a fresh healthy menu. Fresh Corn Grilled Salad is the most popular salad.

This is a great place to meet friends for a quick bite in West Hollywood. There’s a great parking structure next door, or across the street. The menu here can be very healthy. I usually get the chicken with 2 sides. This time I opted to try their Turkey Meatloaf, which was very salty and prepared with too much breading. For the sides I had the brussels sprouts(also very salty) and the glazed yams(served drowning in a bowl of sugary syrup). I think next time I’ll stick with my usual chicken with corn and slaw.

When I write about food for my blog, magazines, TV or Internet it is usually about ethnic authenticity of a particular cuisine, dish or recipe, which is my specialty. I am not by trade a food critic, for whom I believe many food critics are too subjective, biased or truly lack the knowledge, palate or experience to properly critique another’s cuisine. As a classically trained chef with a nose like an anteater or truffle snout, I believe food should be celebrated and never snubbed for it is the source by which we live, and to be alive should be a celebration in itself. While I admit occasionally there are those places that prepare food so poorly that they put their patrons and custom’s health at risk… and they should be closed. Others of mediocrity should be left to their own devices to slowly fade into the world of food, making way for those chefs, cooks and restaurateurs that make your heart sing, belly smile and body nourished. For those places, I bring my critic out of the shadows to praise their efforts so that others may hear, read and see it for themselves so they too may benefit from places like this, where ‘love’ is as much an ingredient as anything else in the food and people that make it, and that this love is offered to us for a small price. A love many of the people preparing these dishes are unaware of putting it up to their pride in what they do. Call it pride, but even behind the pride is love. Good food doesn’t need be with amazing presentation to be amazing. It only need be fresh, healthy, well prepared and reasonably priced to be attainable to all who seek it… The ambiance, presentation and location do little more many times than increase the price. Something many high-end and chain restaurants still seem to miss, because of their primary business motivations of profit and/or ego… which incidentally, is also the primary causes of many restaurant extinctions. Then there are places like Fresh Corn Grill, that TOTALLYGETIT! Who make simply wonderful dishes of basic, fresh, flavorful dishes at reasonable prices without trying to impress you with presentation. Allowing what nature has already provided, to be the true beauty of what they offer. This is cause for the critique in me to step out of the shadows to be heard. While admittedly, they had me at «Fresh Corn Grill», which thinking about it is a most unlikely of restaurant names, and might cause few to give pause to such a place… but«Fresh», «Corn» and«Grill» to me are like three words a magician would use before something magically appears. Pretty much that is my experience at ‘Fresh Corn Grill’, whose simplicity screams out at you on the place and says«Eat me!, I am good for you!»…and it was! Nothing too much, NEVER too little… PERFECTLY prepared to my order. This coming from a Chef whose French masters taught to look to the nature of each ingredient for they already possess everything you need. To look upon each ingredient as Michelangelo did in sculpture«Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it.», so is the flavor, texture, smell and appeal to an ingredient being allowed to show it’s true nature. These were the same French masters that threw my plates on the ground when they were«less than perfect». Thus, where my motto and trademark slogan derived, «Always Be True to The Cuisine», which is exactly what ‘Fresh Corn Grill’ has done! BRAVO! So when you are tired of too much spice, overwhelming flavor or blandness the cries«Oh please, just kill me now!» from places trying to impress to separate you from your money and you yearn for a simply delightful meal of fresh ingredients that will nourish both body and soul… look no further than ‘Fresh Corn Grill’. Bön Appétit! «Always Be True to The Cuisine™» — Chef Dom

Tried it fit the first time this afternoon. Great staff and nice patio for eating outside. The food was some of the best we have had in weho. The asparagus was perfectly grilled as was the corn. The pasta was the best I’ve had. The price was more than fair. Quality was the best. Would eat here anytime.

Came in for brunch and it was so worth it. Great service, the employee who took our order was very knowledgable about the menu. We had the steak and salmon tacos and we loved them both(the plates came with 3 each, + sides)– delicious and filling. They also gave little cups of pico de gallo and green sauce on the side, plus hot sauce and sriracha. I also really liked their side veggies. I had the glazed carrots, and they were the right amount of sweetness and the glaze wasn’t thick or syrupy. Also, of course, the grilled corn was fantastic and the Brussels sprouts were seasoned perfectly.

If you like weak food and bland tastes you will love this place! I think it’s popular because of its hippie/chic scene but other than that it’s nothing special! When the food first comes out you will be surprised by how appealing it looks but as we all know looks can be deceiving. Potatoes were dry, tacos were lacking meat and flavor and the salmon(lets just say I could have did a better job at home) ! I would not come back here again there are many other places in LA that are worth the hype!

If you’re looking for some healthy options, this place is great for you! Quick and easy service. Go up to the counter to order and then sit wherever you’d like. I ordered the salmon tacos with a side of grilled corn and their mashed potatoes. The tacos tasted so healthy I felt like I was cheating on my diet! They put lots of lettuce with the right amount of salmon and the guac in those tacos just make it complete. The grilled corn was absolutely delightful. The mashed potatoes on the other hand were just plain old mashed potatoes. It was lacking flavor so I really didn’t care for it, but it did make a great left over side for my breakfast the next day with ketchup and eggs. I would like to come back to try some other dishes because I was eyeing lots of good lookin plates near me!

Waiting for Get Glammed at the 901Too Unilocal event(yea!!) I decided to grab something to eat while I waited. Across the street is The Fresh Corn Grill. Having never been to one I thought I’d try it. Basmati rice and grilled asparagus. Hmmm, how can you go wrong, right? The rice was dry and basically no flavor while the asparagus had flavor it was grilled to almost nothing. Both were barely warm. Perhaps the straight up Mexican dishes would have been better???

I’m just going to come right out and say it: I really like corn. And If you are gay for corn in any way I think you’d like this place too! I really liked how the corn was buttery and grilled to perfection and looked like they just cut the kernels straight off ears and ears of corn by someone in the back. I stumbled upon this place after a yoga session next door. The establishment isn’t really blatantly labeled«FRESHCORNGRILL» outside or anything until after you walk in and look down at the placemat. I think this is a relatively new location? But I digress. I ordered the fresh corn vegetable bowl which came with a generous scoop of corn, grill chicken breast. asparagus, and zucchini with a side of asian bbq sauce on top of a bed of white rice. Given the fact that I’ve only been here once and ordered one thing I feel like I’ve got a pretty good sense of how the rest of the menu is like already. It seems like they generally use the same vegetables, sauce, and protein(and of course corn) for their pastas, tacos, salads, bowls, and sandwiches. I was not a fan of the overcooked chicken breast in my bowl though so that takes them down a peg. A lot of ppl seem to enjoy the tacos and pizza here! Next time I would probably order that with a heaping side of corn hehe.

My friends and I planned to grab Sunday dinner at the Westwood location, but turns out that location is closed on Sundays! Luckily, the West Hollywood location is open and this is where my friends and I ended up. We easily found street parking right outside Fresh Corn Grill at a metered spot. Since it was a Sunday, the meters weren’t on and we got free parking. Fresh Corn Grill has you order and pay before you can grab a seat with a number. My friends and I decided to eat family style, so that we could try a little of everything on the menu. We ordered a salad, pizza, pasta, and 2 tacos plates with 2 sides each. The Fresh Corn Grilled Salad w/Shrimp($ 10.95+$ 3 – 4?) is a pretty large portion and was refreshing, light, and tasty. It has a mixture of cherry tomatoes, zucchini, corn, and various other veggies. I think the salad is delicious enough on its own and doesn’t need any added protein. The Smoked Salmon Pizza($ 14.95) was quite pricy for 6 slices, but oh so delicious. The crust is light and crispy. The pizza has a thin layer of cream cheese covered with layer of smoked salmon and a sprinkle of green onion. It’s like a bagel without all those calories. The Salmon Taco Plate w/Brussels Sprouts and Mushrooms($ 12.95) was really dry and forgettable in my opinion. However, one of my friends enjoyed it. The Brussels Sprouts were still bitter, so I didn’t eat the rest of it. I didn’t try the mushrooms, since I normally don’t like mushrooms to begin with. The Skirt Steak Taco Plate w/Grilled Zucchini and Grilled Corn($ 12.95) was the better taco plate, but again probably wouldn’t order it. There didn’t seem like anything special to it. The Grilled Zucchini was also underwhelming. The Grilled Corn was the standout side dish and would be ordered again if needed. The Sundried Tomato Pasta w/Chicken($ 10.95 + $ 2 – 3) was also really good. It comes with a creamy sauce and 2 slices of toasted bread. The pasta came with big pieces of sun dried tomatoes and chicken. For 5 girls, we were stuffed. We had only 2 tacos and 1 side leftover. Out of everything we had, I would suggest the Fresh Corn Grilled Salad, Smoked Salmon Pizza, and Sundried Tomato Pasta.
