History

Established in 2009.

Our Agency is faily new but we are here to stay. The likes living and working in West Hollywood and plans to keep the business for life.

Farmers was established in 1928 and we still have our home office on Wishire Blvd.

We only invest your premiums in 30 year corporate bonds. This means that we will always have the funds to pay claims.

We have been and will be there for you when you need us.

Jeffrey P.

Business Owner

Jeff was born in California and raised in the SF Bay Area. He spent most of his carrier in the hospitality industry. Particularly in private clubs. He holds an BS in Hotel Management and an MBA. He enjoys speaking three languages (Spanish and Japanese) and taught business classes at Chaffey College for 15 years.

Jeff likes many sporting activities and they include, surfing, skiing, scuba diving etc.

What Jeff wants to do most is bring first class customer service that he has developed while working the private club market and bring it to the insurance world.

Be prepared to receive first class treatment from Jeff and his staff. That is the whole purpose ot the agency.

Lori is super helpful and easy to work with on getting a quote and my new policy set up. The rate she quoted was 50% less than my previous provider, and she is much more accessible. They always answer the phone or emails quickly, which saves time and aggravation. They are not high pressure sales-​y, just great at advising what you actually need in a calm manner.

I recently had my car stolen and had to go through the required paperwork including a proof of loss statement. When the claims department notified my adjuster that that they would need me to complete it again, I had the choice of finding a notary and mailing it in, which would hold up my claim, or returning it to my agent who could vouch for my identity. My Farmers agent is in Malibu, and I have since moved to Century City. When I called the office in West Hollywood, Lori was very courteous, and immediately referred me to Markus. Markus offered to handle all the paperwork for me there in his office.
When I arrived, they were so helpful. I inquired about switching my policies to their office since it was closer to me now, but Markus will not take the business from my Malibu agent, even though my policies are about to expire in February. He explained that I can utilize the local office if ever the situation should arise again. I left there feeling quite restored about my previous perceptions of insurance companies. Markus is very ethical and looks after the best interest of the policy holder. Not the quick buck, but the relationship. I highly recommend this office!

I have worked with a number of agents in the past and I finally found the last. Nobody likes to deal with their insurance, deciding on a new policy, renewing and filing claims. Markus and Jeffrey have made every part of the process as easy as can be. I would recommend them to look over your current insurance as did I. A few months ago, I was in urgent need of Auto Insurance. Knowing the staff at the Pellissier Agency, I decided to reach out to see if they could help… on a Saturday at 3:00pm. Spoke to Markus, who was on the road, said call Jeff, he is in the office on the weekend. I did, Jeff was there and within 10 minutes, our cars were insured again. It was such a sense of relief, so fast and efficient.
We know the staff at the Pellissier Agency, as we had just transferred our Home Owner’s insurance to them, we were very pleased with Lori, and the team at this Farmer’s location. We own a restaurant in West Hollywood and have been working with Jeff from the Pellissier Agency for over three years now. Everything has gone very smoothly and Jeff is the consumate professional. And, it turns out he also happens to know a great deal about employment law which has proved invaluable to us. We get both our business insurance and worker’s comp through Jeff. We recently relocated to the area. We’ve always used Farmers Insurance, but I have to say that Jeff is probably the best agent we’ve ever had. He’s not only knowledgeable (which you’d expect) but he’s interested in what’s best for you and not what’s best for the company. He’ll tell you where you can save money and what services are necessary or not, even if it’s not the most advantageous for Farmer’s. Jeff is one of those rare agents who are isn’t content to just collect the commissions and not help anyone. He truly cares and is helpful to a fault. I highly recommend Markus as your insurance agent. Earlier this year, I have switched all my insurance contracts from various cheap insurance companies to Farmers and saved a significant amount of money.
During the emergency situation when I was out for a business trip in Alabama, he personally took care of my family’s emergency situation in a VERY timely manner.
He will compare many options to give you the most savings based on what you need. In my case, I’ve always wanted to move to the major insurance company, and he considered my needs for his recommendation.
Jeff also seems to be a very nice business person, even though I have never met or talked with him before because he sent our family personal thank you note with a gift (sweet!) right after we switched our agent to Markus.
Currently, I have auto insurance for two cars, home owner’s insurance & life insurance through them, and I’m very satisfied with their professional customer services. I’d recommend Markus and Jeff to anybody!

Markus Brox is your man. I tried to get insurance on my house in the canyon for almost a month — no one could figure it out. Markus was able to get the house insured within an hour. And he found discounts for me… If you need insurance… call this office. If they can’t do it, no one can.

I have to say i have had numerous negative experiences with insurance companies. Not being the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes such matters, I need help, I’m impatient and grumpy when things don’t go my way, I don’t have a lot of money to spend. But Jeff and Markus are so absolutely competent and understanding that they have charmed the beast right out of me. They efficiently provide me with what I need at a price I can afford and everytime I call they greet me like friends. I just had an accident and Markus found me a rental late on a Friday when the adjuster had clearly abandoned me for the weekend. So these two things are absolutes: Markus is a magician and I will never leave the Pellissier Agency.

The true test of how good is your coverage happens when the unfortunate and unforeseen accident occurs.
In July we suffered a car accident and within minutes of getting off the phone with Jeff, we had the assessor and claims agent on the line. Within hours from that we had all issues resolved for us by Jeff and the Farmers Group, from inspection to towing to repair shop being set up. It only took a few days for us to get our car back as good as new.
Jeff sent in the cavalry to our aid when we needed him the most. He treated us like family and took care of us.
How’s that for good coverage?
We have all our vehicles, our home and a life insurance policy with Farmers and we get a much better rate than even USAA (military). Jeff put together the best package for us and we gladly recommend him to anyone.
