I LOVE ELIZA! She is so quick and the process is almost painless. She keeps me distracted by making conversations. I’ve been getting a Brazillian for almost 10yrs and she has been the best person. And i usually never Unilocal but because she is my absolute favorite, I had to make an exception.

Eliza is awesome. She’s amazingly quick, reasonably-​priced, and SO fun to talk to, to the point where I actually look forward to having hair ripped out of my back and eyebrows. I can’t recommend her enough!

I’ve been going to Eliza for over two years and have never had a bad experience. Getting a Brazilian is never a fun time but Eliza makes it a much more pleasant experience. I’ve always been happy with my wax, and the pain is minimal for waxing. I even continued going to Eliza through my entire pregnancy. I am sad to leave her since I’m moving to Chicago next week. Please move with me!

Eliza is really gentle and I was scared I would be in pain but I barely felt pain because she has the right moves and she distracted me.

I go to her for all my waxing needs and have never looked back since. She is THE BEST.
Waxing in general is such a private and scary thing… Eliza is cool as shit, down to earth and you feel like you’re just catching up with a girlfriend when you’re there. She’s fabulous at shaping my eyebrows, I get compliments all the time. and for the brazilian; it amazes me every time. The thought of hot wax in all your nooks and crannies can be a very daunting thing but she is so fast and efficient at it and talks to you to keep your mind off of it, I actually ENJOY getting it done at this point.
I can’t recommend her enough if you want a comfortable, clean and flawless waxing experience.

I am NOT a fan of getting waxed, so Eliza is perfect for me. She told hilarious stories to distract me while she removed every last hair from down there. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard during a beauty appointment!

This was my first time ever getting waxed in my life and I’ve heard horror stories of the pain. It’s really not that bad. When people leave reviews about the pain of getting waxed, you can’t really deduct a star. That’s like giving your tattoo artist a lower rating because it hurt getting tattooed. Or better yet, leaving your dentist a bad review because you didn’t take care of your teeth that he had to pull. I’m no esthetician, but I’m sure hair comes out more easily if your pores are clean. Jus sayin.
Anyway, I went in midday on a Saturday, salon republic was poppin! Despite how busy it was, Eliza’s studio was extremely clean, and I’m a huge germaphobe so this was great!
Eliza is really friendly and made the entire process a breeze. I was in and out in no time. I went in to get one arm done (I know you’re thinking «who does that?») because I was getting tattooed later in the day and figured I’d make my tattoo artists life a little easier & less gross by saving him the time on shaving my hairy arm. I ended up leaving Eliza with both arms done and my nose and brows. No more unibrow! Hahaha. I have a gnarly beard /​mustache and I was super concerned about some wax getting on my lip hair and getting ripped out. She is extremely good at what she does, the nose didn’t hurt a bit and all my lip hair was wax free and still in tact!
I can honestly say, for my first time getting waxed and being a super hairy manly-​man, this whole experience was cake and inexpensive. Even with the 20% I gave her as a tip. Yes, it’s courtesy to also tip owners if they’re the ones doing the work for you! Well, I’ll certainly be back again! AND will be sending Eliza referrals!

Eliza is friendly and professional. She was sure to make sure I was comfortable, explaining exactly what she was doing step-​by-​step. I can’t sing her praises loud enough!

Eliza is hands down the best waxer I have ever been to. I have been getting waxed for almost 15 years and once I found Eliza (back when she was at a salon in the valley) I have never gone to anyone else since. She has completely transformed my brows from uneven, thin little things to perfectly shaped arches that I get compliments on all the time.
She is thorough, quick, the salon is sparklingly clean, and just an absolute sweetheart. I have recommended her to friends and family alike and everyone I have sent has had a great experience.

After putting it off for months, maybe years, I went to Eliza for my first Brazilian last night. I found her on Unilocal and decided it was time. After making my appointment with Eliza over the phone, I was a little more relaxed as she sounded very nice and understanding of it being my first time – I joked with my friends that it’s funny that all it took to get in my pants was good Unilocal reviews and a nice phone personality haha.
I was extremely nervous yesterday afternoon as my appointment was fast approaching but not only did I survive, but I plan on doing it again (in 4 weeks to be exact haha). Waxing is not fun for anyone but Eliza made my experience the best it could have been. She is so professional yet so personal.
She talked to me the entire time to distract me and was so quick and thorough. After my in-​depth research, I was expecting immense pain not only during the waxing but right after and the day after. I had maybe minor discomfort last night but nothing more than I experience from slight razor burn. Again, it really was nothing.
The studio, like Eliza, was warm and welcoming. It also appeared to be extremely clean.
That all said, Eliza is not only a sweetheart but a God!
I will be a regular here for sure!

Eliza is amazing! I absolutely love her. She is super quick and the results are always great. She’s super friendly and her studio is clean and comfortable. She’s the only person I will go to for a wax.

In a service related business, unless something happens that is way beyond reasonable, I don’t think it is fair to rate anyone based on one amazing experience or one bad experience. I saw the great reviews so I came in for my first wax 5 months ago.
I have gone 5 times since and the same positive experience happens every time. There is limited pain, it is the quickest wax I have ever gotten, and most importantly the results are always good. It is also a nice bonus that she is super friendly and somehow manages to remember conversations from previous wax sessions. I am amazed that every time I walk in she asks me for an update about something we talked about a few months ago. It shows that she genuinely cares about her customers and the friendly conversation is not just an act.
Another bonus is that she is always in a good mood. Today was the one time I would have been understanding if she wasn’t in the best mood. The power went out at her store for a few hours in the morning. She called up all her customers, including me, mentioned that she still has me scheduled for the afternoon but scheduled me the next day just in case. Unfortunately, she lost a few clients in the morning because of the power outage. This is a scenario that many would not be able to have a normal upbeat attitude, but she was still in a great mood as always, and everything went smoothly.

OK — listen up fellas. If you’re not manscaping you’re not doing it right and if you want it done right you need to go see Eliza. I’ve been waxed several times in LA and Eliza is the best experience I’ve had hands down. Quick, efficient, super friendly and gets you in and out and on with your day. The waxing was also relatively painless and left zero irritation which is a clear sign of high quality product. Very impressed.
Do yourself a favor, put the razor down and go see Eliza — you’ll thank me later.

Clean and friendly but the wax job was incredibly subpar — especially in LA.

Not more than 3 short months ago I had never «gone to Brazil» (if you know what I mean), but now… OMG. now I’m there once a month!!! From the minute I hopped up on the table Eliza made what could have been a very uncomfortable, embarrassing experience so easy and as pain-​free as I imagine it gets. Thanks to her attention to detail, her quick hands and, not to mention, her humor she has fully converted me to waxism!
Throw away that rusty razor blade and take 15 minutes out your day (for what seems like a lifetime) of pleasure! Your lady parts will thank you!
