CVS Pharmacy Care Plus

Aside from some clearance sale/​deals … THE PHARMACY IS A DISGRACE.
After CVS joined the few major MEGA drug stores (driving out competition/​options) repeatedly … The pharmacy is OUT OF STOCK of a common generic medication.
Usually I am told a few days to get it in stock.
Last time I was told the Manager was out until next THU (almost a week) and only then could the Pharmacy order then wait for this basic medication to come into stock.
Pavilions Pharmacy has ALWAYS had the medication in stock and always fill it in moments to a couple minutes at most.
It’s a longer walk to Pavilions Pharmacy, BUT IT’S BETTER THAN CVS in all professional ways

Staff is awesome. Great place. Prescriptions are filled promptly. No lines. Peter is the best !! Pharmacist Ben is very knowledgable and stylish

Been a long time patient here at Care Plus, the service along with the staff just took a [poo] nose dive downhill. When I began with them about 6 years ago they were the usual friendly neighborhood pharmacy. WHO CARED. The last draw was trying to order a few medications that I absolutely cannot go without. They almost seemed as tho they enjoyed saying no without any type of sympathy whatsoever because I was not 3, not 2, but 1 count them ONE day early. Along with the creepy looks when I would come in and pick up my pain medication. Looking at me like I am a criminal.
I will say that Matthew along with being a cutie, he was the only one who was helpful there. Along with Lydia the best. I went to another true neighborhood pharmacy and I was floored how much better they were. Maybe I was so used to being treated like dirt that any kind of real service was so totally appreciated.
I will never go back in. Nor will I ever take for granted the mom a pop style pharmacy again. Later cvs. You suck.

Long time customer. Customer service has completely gone down hill. The front store staff is fine. However the overall responses have increasingly declined.
CVS has a terrible track record.
Will no longer use them.

The first I experienced the Care Plus brand was in Phoenix, AZ. Prior to being acquired by CVS, I was so impressed with the quality of care, and attentiveness as a client, that I wrote a letter to CVS corporate to tell them what an outstanding job my pharmacist did!
They even set me up on a refill program that allowed me to begin hoarding medications in case of a service interruption.
Additionally, because I’d had a well established relationship with the pharmacy staff after two years, I was allowed to walk out the door with an unpaid three month supply for a trip that I was going on overseas. They simply billed my insurer each month as usual for the medications.
THIS Care Plus has never been quite as accommodating. It took awhile took get set up on the refill program, and even then, it was almost always necessary to contact them to let them know my prescription refill could be filled. Care Plus West Hollywood is certainly okay, but they’re not what I had come to expect them to be based on my prior relationship with the other store and so I wouldn’t hold them in any higher regard than other chain stores in the area. Since the Care Plus brand is known primarily as a «specialty» pharmacy, that makes me a little disappointed.

I depend on this pharmacy for medication they have a monopoly on in my area.
They shouldn’t have this monopoly as they never return phone calls and prescriptions go unfulfilled.
And I’m not talking about aspirin here.
They obviously don’t «Care Plus,»
more like «We Don’t Care About Your Health At All.!»

THIEVES! Plain and simple. No excuses. I had a prescription and asked the price.
They quoted $ 145 (30 pills for allergy related symptoms) then I asked to get the generic version and they replied that this was the generic.
A few weeks later I needed a refill and went to Horton and Converse and they asked $ 45.00 only. Corporate Vampires Sucks! over charged $ 100.00
Stay the hell away from CVS pharmacy they’ll gouge you till you bleed to death. They just want your money.
Shame on you corporate CVS!

NOOOOoooooo!!! The drugstore is gone! Bring it back CVS!!! Could not be anymore disappointed. This place was my favorite place to go for over-​the-​counter remedies and other basic household goods. Now you can only fill prescriptions here. :(

Surprised no one has reviewed this place. This used to be both a pharmacy and a little drug store, but now only fills prescriptions. Since it’s a mini CVS, the staff are much nicer and efficient than the big ones. My prescriptions are always filled within minutes and everyone is really friendly. I just wish they still had their drug store — now I have to walk to the big CVS at La Cienega to get everyday items.
