Claudia Martin Studio

I LOVE this place. Perks: Only 6 people to a class, beautiful modern studio, free parking behind the building before 10 a.m. I only really go to Ava’s classes, because I’m a creature of habit and because she’s great. Super friendly and always has a plan for her classes. This is a pretty traditional pilates workout, as far as I can tell. I don’t usually break a sweat, but I definitely feel the burn. Ava is great about offering modifications that allow us to make the workout more challenging as we get stronger. She keep the class doable for newcomers while also challenging those of us who have been around a little longer.

Wonderful little gem I discovered on Class Pass. This is the perfect place for you if you are seeking a boutique, intimate Pilates studio (only 6 reformers). Easy to find, friendly and hands on instructors, and AMAZING reformers. This is more of a traditional type of Pilates class with pretty standard movements on the reformer, but if you know anything about Pilates you know that those movements will have you super sore the next day. I look forward to my next classes here, definitely worth a visit.

First Pilates studio I’ve ever joined and I feel like i’ve set the bar high. The studio itself is very clean and zen-​like. The machines are new and the instructors so far have been great. Also there is easy street parking and the classes are small and intimate (no more than 6).
The classes aren’t TOO difficult, just varies between teachers. I love it so far! Been going every week since I started.

Great, small studio for pilates. It’s in my relative neighborhood so I thought I would give it a try. Nice, clean, and airy studio and really like the small class format. Will be going back.

I’m on classpass and have tried about every pilates studio available to classpass in Hollywood and WeHo at this point. Claudia Martin definitely is one of the best! personalized classes to what you want to work, plenty of attention due to small class size, BEAUTIFUL facility with nice equipment and natural light. loved Gabrielle, she helped correct my form several times and was really encouraging and warm. my only suggestion would be to introduce levels to their schedule with more challenging classes. but definitely would recommend checking Claudia Martin Studio out!

Clean, new, beautiful studio. Free street parking just a block or so north. Helpful instructors. Semi-​private classes (only 6 reformers). Can’t say enough good things about Claudia Martin Studio!!! I’d go here more often if I wasn’t so obsessed with Class Pass. A+!!!

Fantastic class! Left feeling challenged, energized and stretched out. A must if you like a challenging Pilates workout.

I am grateful for this new studio. First time I’ve done Pilates and I’ve been going six days a week for coming in a month. My body and soul are changing. Finally I’ve found a workout that I love and can’t see myself living without. Join me… I dare you.

I came here through Class Pass this week and can’t wait to get more Pilates in my routine! The workout didn’t feel too intense at the beginning, but I knew I would be sore towards the end. Claudia helped me work on my posture throughout as it was only my second time, while she guided the more advanced students in their workout. The space is beautiful and clean, the machines were much nicer than the others I’ve seen, and I want to steal her playlist — it’s amazing!

Really nice weho pilates studio. It’s got a nice relaxed vibe but you’re still going to get a good workout. It definitely could have been more challenging, but I liked the emphasis on form and that there were no more than 5 people in the class.

Found CMS through ClassPass, and really dig going to this studio. It’s a beautiful space with the brand new Allegro 2 reformers and has a polished chic industrial vibe. The days /​times I go are primarily Gabrielle’s classes, and I really enjoy working with her. She’s a friendly gal and has a very positive, encouraging attitude. She works you hard without being a drill instructor and doesn’t shame you at all for taking a quick breather. I’ve worked with instructors at other studios that only point out errors in form, but Gabrielle is equally quick to let students know their form looks good and they’re doing well. She doesn’t just stand there and bark, but will get on an empty machine to demonstrate a move and point out the key points of doing it correctly and safely. It’s a challenging workout for all levels, but I find her teaching style and attitude is such a plus for beginners like me. And she has a great playlist! Parking can be challenging in this area, but there is ample free parking behind the studio building as long as you vacate by 10am.

I’ve never written a Unilocal review before but I just had to write one for this studio. I have been doing Pilates for years and never has my body changed so much, so quickly, as it has since going to Claudia Martin Studio. I’m used to doing private Pilates but these classes are practically private (there are only 6 reformers) and they’re more thorough than any Pilates I’ve done. I absolutely LOVE Gaby — she’s so sweet and helpful but also tough! I’m always sore the next day, even after going 3 – 4 times a week for the past few months.
Also, the studio is clean and beautiful and the reformers are amazing! I would definitely recommend Claudia Martin Studio to anyone looking for a Pilates workout.

So yes… I am still carrying around baby weight… And I finally made a commitment to get fit and lose those extra pounds!
As a beginner you can imagine my intimidation as someone who is walking into their first Pilates class eveeeer but once I entered the studio, I found it to be incredibly warm and calming! I purposely chose a small studio because I have heard from a few of my friends that larger franchises seem more «factory driven» and as a Pilates newbie I wanted to make sure I was getting appropriate supervision! This mommy didn’t want to go accidentally hurting herself! :P
The atmosphere here is intimate and very zen. Upon arriving I was immediately greeted by Gaby one of the instructors. She oriented me on the machine and quickly put me at ease, assuring me to go at my own pace. And so began the next hour of my work out. Which reminded me very much of yoga– with calming relaxing slow movements but combined with wonderful strength and core building exercises while using the machines.
In short I had an awesome work out and walked out feeling great… I look forward to returning!

I discovered this Pilates Gem yesterday, and took my first class with Gabriela. I have been practicing Pilates on the reformer for five years at one studio in particular, but since I’ve moved I wanted to check out other options. This class was great ! I haven’t been sore from a Pilates class in a long time, and this one really did it.
The space is beautiful, and the machines are brand new top of the line. I am looking forward to enjoying this studio !

Man, Claudia is awesome. Super knowledge and super cool. Customized a session that really helped me repair injury and get on track. Thanks for the kick start, looking forward to the new studio opening so I can go regularly.
