Meet the Business Owner

Marcy S.

Business Owner

According to her parents, Marcy has been helping students ever since elementary school, and continues to do so. She is currently a reading instructor for the Los Angeles Community College District, and is also a private reading tutor who works with both children and adults.

Reading is her passion, and she loves helping people to become better readers. She especially enjoys working with parents, teaching them strategies and activities that they can use at home to teach reading skills to their children. Marcy also teaches courses for parents at her online reading clinic.

Marcy’s teaching background includes includes teaching children and adults with learning and developmental disabilities. She has a master’s degree in reading education from California State University, Fullerton, and has taught for LAUSD and Burbank Adult School.
