Dr. Jones is very passionate about her work and is focused on giving her patients «„comprehensive, ethical dentistry.“» Dr. Jones grew up in Southern California and went to an accelerated program after high school to Creighton University. At Creighton University, Dr. Jones received her B.S. and D.D.S. degrees. Dr. Jones has been in the dental field for over ten years and has taken extensive continuing education courses to gain better patient satisfaction. Dr. Jones takes pride in learning the latest and most advanced procedures in dentistry. Currently, Dr. Jones is enrolled in Boston Implant Institute, a prestigious one-​year fellowship to become a board certified Implantologist.

Dr. Jones is an active member of American Dental Association where she has volunteered for the «„give kids a smile“» program, in which she conducted free exams for underprivileged pre-​school students. She is also a member of the California Dental Association and San Fernando Valley Dental Society board member.

History

Established in 2007.

Our practice was established in 2007 by Dr. Mona Entezam. Dr. Mona went to UCLA School of Dentistry and practiced dentistry for many years. Dr. Mona has over fifteen years of experience in the field of dentistry. She has an impeccable reputation as a dentist in the West Hills area. In 2014, she decided to take a break from dentistry to focus on her family and decided to transition her practice over to Dr. Joshi-​Jones.

Dr. Joshi-​Jones grew up in Southern California and went on to an accelerated program from high school to Creighton University. At Creighton University, Dr. Jones received her Bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Jones has been practicing dentistry for over five years and has taken many extensive courses in cosmetic and general dentistry to further patient satisfaction. Dr. Jones is very passionate about keeping up with the latest advances in dentistry so she can increase patient comfort.

Dr. Jones is a true professional. I consider myself very good about brushing and flossing so I never have had any real dental issues until this year. I needed a cavity filled and a crown put in. Dr. Jones skill and manner made the process painless and she really took care to make sure my crown was perfect. She makes herself very available and her commitment to patients comes thru. Her staff is just like her and Teresa was so awesome in coming in on her day off to handle my crown. I don’t want to see her until my next cleaning but I am glad I found her.

Love love love this dental team! I used to be terrified of the dentist (I’m 27) and dr. Jones makes coming to the dentist less terrifying. She and her team are super accommodating, friendly, professional, and hard working. The first time I requested an appt the Saturday after thanksgiving bc my tooth was hurting. She called me weds night making sure I was ok for thanksgiving day. And on Saturday her assistant came in on her day off to help out. And Kylie at the front desk is so helpful with any of the questions we have.
We moved to woodland hills in February of this year and I’m so glad we found this office! We’ll definitely stay here with this team for as long as we live here! :)

I LOVED my previous dentist (Dr Alan Levy in Tarzana) but unfortunately I was going broke because he was out of network (MetLife Insurance). I had two previous bad experiences with dentist in the past so I was cautious in finding a new one. I’m so glad my neighbor recommended Dr Joshi Jones and her wonderful staff.
I had phoned Monday about a porcelain crown break and they were able to see me the next day. The medical building was easy to find and had plenty of nearby free parking. I was greeted by the staff and the doctor immediately upon entering the office. The waiting room was inviting and had a warm yet neat and orderly appearance. The wait time was effectively zero as I was seen right after filling out a few new patient forms. There appeared to be three patient/​treatment chairs; two in a general open office area separated by a wall and the third in a private room perhaps for more in depth services. I was seated in one of the first two and I think there was a cleaning that took place in the chair on the other side of the wall. I liked the open room and found it was still private enough because I never saw the other patient come or go.
I really appreciated how Dr Joshi Jones took the time to explain everything with me; from my insurance/​billing to my condition, procedure and aftercare. The service, treatment seemed top notch and she made me feel completely at ease with the Novocain? Shots and the drilling/​shaping. My time with the Doctor seemed more than adequate and at no time did I feel like she was in a rush. So many doctors overbook and try to see too many patients; not this doctor.
UPDATE 10÷21÷15: I have had my new crown fitted and a third appointment to fill a related cavity today. My crown feels excellent! So much better than my last one! I am so happy with DT Joshi Jones and her staff!

Dr. Jones and her staff are extremely professional and friendly. Their office is very new and clean. When I got there, they offered me water and snack. Dr. Jones took time to explain everything to me in a very simple and understandable way. She did a fantastic job in the deep cleaning procedure I had that day. She’s very thorough and gentle. Her staff was also knowledgable and experienced. Overall, I had a very good experience with Dr. Jones office. I’ve already scheduled my next appointment with them and will definitely refer them to my friends and family.

I was looking for a new dentist and I actually sought help from the one and only… Unilocal!Dr. Joshi Jones was very professional, knowledgeable, and honest. If there is one thing I respect in a medical professional, it’s honesty. Dr. Joshi Jones performed a comprehensive exam following my initial x-​rays, as I was a first time patient. She guided me through the process and provided her honest opinion on my current state of oral health. I received two painless fillings and finished with an excellent cleaning. The staff was also very helpful, professional, personable, and caring. I gotta say, Dr. Joshi Jones has found herself a new client. I highly recommend the dentistry services provided here and look forward to my next appointment!

Went to a different dentist a very short time ago and he told me I had a cavity, so I get it filled and pay him some exorbitant amount of money. I figure I am all better, but very shortly after, I am having pain again. So I go to Dr. Jones as her office is unbelievably convenient and accommodating (unlike most dentists’ offices that I have been to). She does her work up and was so extremely professional in the way she described what was wrong and the ways to fix it. She doesn’t try to get you to buy the most expensive or fanciest fix, but reads you and decides what you are looking for and goes with that approach. I made my next appointment before I even left the office that day and have found my long-​term dentist in the valley for sure. Highly recommended and have already told everyone at my work that this is the place to go for high quality oral care!

I went in for my first visit yesterday since I just moved to the West Hills area. Dr. Joshi-​Jones ands her staff were very polite and professional. The office was very clean and has a lot of TVs to keep patients entertained while waiting. There was a patient undergoing an emergency procedure while I was in there which caused my visit to take slightly longer than normal. Even though I was in and out in about an hour, Dr. Jones offered to pay for half of my co-​pay due to the delay. This was not something I asked her, she just offered it. I was very impressed and will definitely be continuing to use Dr. Jones as my primary dentist.

I loved our previous dentist, but she retired and fortunately sold the practice to Dr. Jones. Had my first appointment with Dr. Jones two weeks ago for a routine cleaning. Normally the dental assistant would do the cleaning, but Dr. Jones did it and it was all good. I was going to do my review after the cleaning, but wanted to wait until I knew more about her work. Just got home from seeing Dr. Jones as an old crown (30 years) was deteriorating and there was decay. She was professional, warm and friendly. As a matter-​of-​fact the entire office staff is professional, warm and friendly, and the office is equipped with state-​of-​the-​art equipment. I am so happy that Dr. Jones took over the practice. I still don’t love going to the dentist — doubt I ever will, but I’m happy that my dentist is Dr. Jones.

Love love Dr. Joshi Jones! It had been almost 2 years since I had seen a dentist and I was pretty nervous walking into her office (as Im terrified of dentists!). Everyone at the office was very warm and friendly and made me feel extremely at ease. Dr. Jones was exceptional, she was very gentle with my teeth (I had gone in for a cleaning & a couple of fillings). Normally when I get a cleaning done, the doctors stab my gums and the whole experience is just so uncomfortable. But not with Dr. Jones! She was amazing and I will definitely be going back to her. If you have been looking long and hard for a fantastic and knowledgable dentist, look no further! You will be taken care of here.

So here’s the story with my teeth. Dentists terrify me, I’m too lazy to brush my teeth before bed, I drink about 5 cups of coffee and day and flossing… well that happens about once in a blue moon.
Then one day my tooth started to hurt, I tired to avoid the dentist for as long as I could, but eventually I jumped on Unilocal and found Dr. Birva and thank god I did. She found a cavity and in the most caring and gentle manner fixed up my tooth and helped me get over my dental phobia. She even sat with me and went over some simple ways someone as lazy as me could improve my overall dental health.
After a childhood full of terrible dentists, I’m so grateful to have found Dr. Birva, my teeth are healthy and my phobia is gone!
