Crappy service I waited on hold for 50 minutes and called back presuming they were busy then told them I waited and what I needed again and they put me on hold for another hour before I hung up. This place needs to go out of business since they can’t train their employees the right way. When I went to the store before I called the guy at customer service told me incorrect information. This walmart literally needs to hire some good workers or go out of business. I have no problem waiting for customer service but they obviously have no clue what their doing. I worked in retail before and people in customer service and they were really efficient. These people at this store are just mind blowing at how terrible their work is. Being on hold for 50 — 60 minutes is just bad business. Nevertheless being on hold twice for that period. I also went there for a camera charger and the lady in cameras didn’t know anything about them or any electronic. Asked her if she knew of a cheaper charger she said no and 2 minutes later I found one that was 15 dollars cheaper. Hire good people guys and this store has potential. But this store is literally going down the dump if you guys don’t train your employees. Something target and best buy do efficiently but walmart has no clue what to do.

This store is built on the site where I used to live when I first moved to West Haven, so coming here is like coming home, lol. Walmart gets a bad rap for a myriad of reasons, but I enjoy the store as a whole, and this store in particular. I’ve rarely had a bad experience, or not found what I went there for.

One of the worst Walmarts I’ve seen. Dirty and unorganized. I had to use the restrooms and whilst I was there watched a staff member leave without washing her hands. Yes, that’s the last time I will ever go in here.

If there’s an option for zero star that’s what I would’ve given for this Walmart in West Haven. The entire staff is very unprofessional including the manager. They should really learn to let the customer talk and maybe take a refresher on «the customer is always right.»

This is the cleanest, nicest walmart in the area, especially great since they finished their remodel, they have everything now! Super nice employees!

This Walmart is disgusting. Dirty, messy-stuff on the floor in every dept. Many items on shelves were tore open. I’ll never return

It’s a rather mundane Walmart. Many of the customers would make good photographic subjects for . I end up stopping in about once a week because of convenience and inexpensive prices. For me, it’s a decent spot to pick up toiletries, home goods, cleaning products, and miscellaneous grocery items like tea and cereal. The customer service at the registers is actually very good. The cashiers are surprisingly pleasant, friendly, and quick. The lines are long but the wait usually isn’t. Once I had to wait a long time to do a return because they were having an issue with the customer ahead of me, but other than that, no service complaints to report.

Walmart is not my thing, during holiday seasons… too crowded, too messy, but not too expensive. We came here to buy our Christmas Tree decoration. For less than $ 40.00 you have a cart full with ‘tree-jewelry’ that will last you a couple of years.

Pure evil. Originally invited because they would«anchor» local smaller stores, they’ve since proven to simultaneously cause smaller mom & pop businesses to close while exploiting their workers and encouraging employees to exploit welfare systems. Walmart and Sam’s Club are a burden on the community, not a supporter. I’d rather pay a few more $$ to support smaller businesses than step foot on their tainted soil.
