History
Established in 2015.
Come join us in a supportive and motivating atmosphere.
Viva! Dance and Fitness is by design, structured to be a safe haven for the community.
We are a group of collaborating artists, who utilize different art forms to enhance self-esteem, build self-confidence, foster positive socialization and promote physical fitness. Our students learn the skills necessary to enjoy a lifetime rich in health and creativity. Our goal is to make this community dance center YOUR home away from home!
Meet the Business Owner
Kelvia F.
Business Owner
KELVIA is the owner of the Viva Dance & Fitness Center for the Arts, and founder of the Middle Eastern Dance Academy of CT. She is a professional dance artist, instructor, choreographer, and event coordinator.
She is a Ballroom and Latin dance instructor, a dedicated Middle Eastern Dance artist, & one of the only two people in the state of CT certified to provide Masala Bhangra (a bollywood infused dance fitness program)! Kelvia has dedicated her life to the arts. As a result, she has received extensive dance training in over 16 different dance styles.
It was through dance that Kelvia finally learned to love herself, embrace her body, and was able to gain confidence. Dance changed Kelvia’s self-perception. She now utilized the arts to help others achieve the same level of inner peace and acceptance.
In 2015, she opened the doors to the «Viva», finally creating in CT an all inclusive community center for the arts, who’s primary focus is fostering a stronger sense of community!
