I have been using Marshalls Garage for over 16 years. I used to live in west haven and would go there because Marshall used to keep my uncles 81 Chevy Citation on the road and worked some of my cars. Eventually I moved to Meriden, however I still have my cars towed all the way to Marshalls if they break down. He is very honest and the prices are reasonable for the services performed. I currently have a mini and have been having difficulty getting it services because most shops don’t want to even talk to you when they find out you have a mini. Just for the heck of it a few weeks ago I said to Marshall «you don’t work on minis do you?» He said of course we do. So I brought my mini over there. All fixed. Because Marshall is very good this also means he is very busy. If you need major work done right away he probably won’t be able to help. But if you are willing to wait for quality service then this is the place to go! You will thank me!

Marshall’s Garage is absolutely wonderful. Everyone is helpful, kind and goes the extra mile to help you. After blowing out my tire and cracking my wheel, Marshall came out to help me in the rain even after the shop had closed for the day. He waited with me for an hour for a cab to arrive and even offered me coffee and cookies while I waited! He then worked tirelessly to get me a solution to my problem ASAP. Everyone who works there went above and beyond to help us out (since this is our only car) and called us back with timely updates about every aspect of our situation. I would return for work on our car at Marshall’s any time. The best customer service experience I have ever had in Connecticut!

Marshall’s Garage is outstanding in every way. Everyone is pleasant and professional. Most important, they know what they are doing, tell you exactly what is wrong and what needs to be done, and provide options and honest costs before doing anything.
The respect and consideration with which I am treated adds to the positive experience and I know when I start my car it is safe and running properly.
For a small fee, they will evaluate a car you are thinking about buying and provide an honest assessment of the vehicle. This was a phenomenal asset when I was buying a car for the first time in more than ten years. Everything they told me about the car I did buy has been 100% accurate.

Marshall’s Garage is a second generation family owned business. They are very honest and do top notch work, but for that they can be expensive. With the stigma that mechanics have of always trying to stiff you, I think that peace of mind is probably worth their prices. They have loner cars available for bigger jobs and very friendly staff to keep you company while you wait.
