West Elm partners with local makers and designers, and I think that’s awesome. Labeled with their green stickers, there are many items that either certified organic, recycled, renewable, non-toxic, reclaimed or responsibly produced which is cool Bedding, furniture, room and kitchen décor — everything is stylish… and pricey. Emily C. is right, West Elm has beautiful everything. You won’t walk through the store and not find something you don’t love. I’ve been to other West Elm’s in NY and it’s cool to see that each location handpicks regionally sourced pieces for each of their stores — makes for a charming shopping experience!

West Elm is a dangerous place. Dangerous for my bank account, that is. Although, on the bright side, having one in Blueback Square will likely save me quite a bit on shipping, given how I usually buy my favorite lighting fixtures and home décor on their website. West Elm is one of those places where I literally(and I mean literally) want to buy everything(and I mean everything). From furniture to wall décor to gifts to kitchenware and the list goes on. Blueback parking is often a beast but occasionally I’m lucky to avoid the garage fares and snag a spot on the street. Move over, Crate & Barrel, you’ve got some competition in the ‘hood!
