Rob’s Gutter Cleaning & Power Washing

I contacted Robs Gutter Cleaning after seeing a flyer for his business in the salon I work at. I was super pleased with the quick response time to give me a quote on my property. His prices are very fair and they get to you quickly. The service was speedy and they left no mess! I highly recommend them to anyone.

Here’s what I most appreciated about this company… they actually contacted me the day I sent them an email. Rob emailed me back within the hour and said he’d set up my gutter cleaning within the next 7 days. They showed up on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and were done with my gutters in under 30 minutes. They cleaned up after themselves too. I will surely hire them in the future.

I highly recommend Rob’s Gutter Cleaning & Power Washing. We had very bad dirt and moss on our gutters and trim because our house is shaded in the summer months. Rob’s crew did a spectacular job of eliminating the moss and dirt. I was pleasantly surprised as it ended up looking like new!

I didn’t hire them, but my neighbor did. When they were done working, my patio and entire side of my house was covered in the junk they cleaned from her gutters. They don’t take neighboring properties into account at all.

Hired Rob to wash my roof. His 2 man crew sent to do the job were punctual, friendly, and professional. They made my 15+ yr old roof covered in moss/​algae look brand new and they cleaned out my gutters while they were up there at no extra charge. I wish I had taken before and after pictures to show you. My expectations were greatly exceeded.

Do not use this company for gutter repair. Rob sent an incompetent crew to re-​attach a section of gutter 3 stories up on the back of my home. On their initial visit, they took only about 15 minutes, did not use a ladder and anchored the gutter at the far end with one aluminum nail that they hammered into an S-​shape. I informed Mr. Polo about the situation and told him I had no confidence in the repair. He agreed to send them back. The day they returned unannounced, I found them working on a 40 foot ladder above a window about 12 feet from the end of the gutter at the point where it had separated from the fascia. They said they were unable to drive the gutter screw home and promised to return within a few days with the proper equipment and hardware. Following that visit, the gutter developed a new hose-​like leak in the exact location where I had found them working.
To make a long story short, when the gutter was finally repaired by another vendor, we found a cleanly drilled hole on the BOTTOM edge of the gutter that was responsible for the leak along with a pair of same-​sized holes on the back side. Despite being presented with photos and a descriptive invoice, Rob denied liability claiming that his crews don’t carry drill bits and would never drill a hole in that location.
I’d also be cautious using him for gutter cleaning. On their first visit, his crew bent my gutter guards so they could use a blower on the downspouts.

The experience is exactly what one expect going in. Prompt service, courteous, and thorough! The pricing is fair, and the owner speaks to you personally prior to the cleaning.

Over the past year or two I have used them for both power washing and gutter cleaning and I have been very pleased with them each time. They are polite, prompt and the pricing is very reasonable

Used these guys twice this year for gutter cleaning. The first time they left quite a mess from the gutter debris in my mulched garden areas alongside the house and the back porch. I called and explained that if I were to use them a second time they would need to do a better job cleaning up after the gutters were cleaned.
I gave them a second chance and they took extra care to cleanup before leaving. Overall very satisfied with these guys. They are very punctual, fast, responsive, and professional. I would have given them 5 stars had I not had an issue of debris with my first experience.
I have spoken with about a dozen local companies who conduct gutter cleanings in the area I will be using Rob’s Gutter Cleaning over any of them going forward. I would definitely recommend Rob’s Gutter Cleaning if you are looking for exterior home cleaning and washing.

Rob’s company did a great job with our gutters. I was particularly impressed, as I had scheduled a seasonal appointment (in the late fall) around the time I believed all the leaves from the trees around our house would have fallen. I was wrong. The leaves stayed on the trees for several weeks, and we live in a rather forested area. Several weeks later, the leaves from the surrounding area were on our roof and then in our gutters. I called Rob to schedule a second cleaning, and he gave us a discount, since we had just received a cleaning from him. We didn’t ask for the discount; he just gave it to us. The gutters were cleaned well, and I was impressed with the customer service.

Terrible. I had Rob Polo «clean» my elderly father’s gutters in May 2014 and in June 2014 rain from the gutter poured into my father’s bedroom window. When I called Ron to explain the situation he refused to come out to examine the gutters, talked over me, was rude and said that he has had conversations with upset customers many times. Enough said.

Do not use this guy. Never even cleaned my gutters at the back of my house, and I never checked to inspect his work. First major rainstorm it was obvious that whoever came out, just did the front (if at all) then left a slip saying they were cleaned… Called him just now to see if he would make it right, and he did not because it was a few months ago. Sad. Horrible business sense, horrible service. Do not hire this guy. A total Sham

Very disappointed with this service. 3 months after his «gutter cleaning» my downspout is clogged. He cleaned my gutters in January and they are clogged in April. No leaves on the trees during this time. He told me if I wanted it cleaned again I would have to pay the full price since «too much time has passed». This guy only cares about making money and not your house or providing you a good service. I’d recommend a company that stands behind their work, not this guy.

We have lived in our two-​story colonial for over 20 years. Rob’s Gutter was a new company for us that we thought we would try for our annual power washing needs. This is the first time I’ve ever seen anyone power wash a house from the bottom first working their way to the top. The result left a lot of debris and stains from the material that was removed at the top of the house on the bottom half that was done first.
The majority of their time was spent power washing my composite wood deck which they did not treat prior to washing. I have never seen anyone try to clean it without retrieving it. It came out OK but cold have been cleaner.
The power washing crew of two men arrived in a van with Maine plates. They were very nice and polite and began working with two separate power washers. Unfortunately people in my town do not have city water. The result of using these two power washers at the same time emptied my well to the point where I am now pulling mud through all the plumbing in my house.

I purchased a coupon from Living Social. I waited a month and still had no idea when they would be coming. They do not call back, you have to call them several times. I finally fell on the backed up ice on the sidewalk and had to call another company. I would think twice before I bought their coupon on Living Social or Groupon.

OK job. The gutters were clean but where the leaves landed from the gutters did not seem to be of any concern to the crew. After the job there were leaves stuck to the window sills, on the front porch and back deck. There was a pile of leaves by a downspout. This was my first time using Rob, they were at the house for about 5 minutes and the end result showed the limited time spent. I have had my gutters cleaned by several companies and would use any of them again before I called Rob’s Gutter Cleaning back to the house.

I have used this company twice now and I highly recommend them. It was a very easy web form to fill out and he got back to me the same day and my gutters were cleaned out in a couple of days. Very reasonably priced and they do very good work.
