O’connor Brothers Floor Sanding & Refinishing

I had some floors redone in my old house by another company and just kept using them out of habit. I needed a big job done and felt «old company’s» quote was just too high so I shopped around. John came out and gave me a quote that was very reasonable. John’s quote for sanding and 3 coats of poly was less than «old company’s» quote for 2 coats of poly, so we hired his company to redo 2 bedrooms, a hallway, a staircase, the living room, and dining room.
What a difference. O’Connor Brothers did a super job with the sanding and repairing hidden surprises under the carpet. The floors came out amazing. To quote Mrs. R «I really wasn’t expecting this. When ‘old company’ did the floors, they looked like old floors that were refinished, these look like new floors.» Higher praise hath no man than the approval nod of Mrs. R.

I contacted John last December. I told him how bad my folks house was. It had been carpeted and then removed. It had multiple colors and was a mess. We had no idea how talented O’Connor brothers company is. They did such a beautiful job. We were very surprised at how even they made everything. It was just a beautiful flawless job.
Our family is moving and we bought a home damaged by the hurricane. We also had a very sloppy painter who contributed tremendously. Our contractor said it would be unlikely the wood floors in the entire house could be fixed or even remove the paint from the cracks. I was nervous and called John. He came right down and said no problem.
The process is complete and we drove to see how it came out. It was amazing. A true night and day difference. We were so happy and thrilled. He couldn’t have worked harder or more efficiently for our little house. John always is friendly and nice and is just wonderful at what he does.
As soon as we move I will have him do our house before it goes up for sale. I never ever write reviews. I had too. I wrote two for this company. One on YP and on Unilocal.I am so grateful for his expertise. He saved us having to purchase new floors for the entire house. It was not just me though. Honestly, my contractor was shocked and so happy for us. We would recommend John and his company to anyone and know you are in the best hands possible.
He is a true miracle worker on wood floors. His years of knowledge benefit everyone who is lucky enough to come in contact with him.
