History

Established in 1991.

The Law Office of Doris D’Ambrosio commenced as an all female law firm of Wetstone, Swienton and D’Ambrosio in September 1991. Attorney Wetstone and Attorney Swienton both became Judges in the Superior Court resulting in Attorney D’Ambrosio became in sole practicioner in January of 2001. Attorney D’Ambrosio has been practicing general practice since November 15, 1984.

Doris D’Ambrosio graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 1981 Magna Cum Laude with a Psychology Degree. She was President of the Psychology Honor Society. Attorney D’Ambrosio attended Western New England School of Law and was the Managing Editor of the School Newspaper as well as worked two semester as an intern in the Legal Clinic representing Defendants in the State Criminal Justice system. Further, Attorney D’Ambrosio was as a legal intern for the Connecticut Attorney General’s Office in the tax department — all during law school.
