This place is apart of my childhood. The garlic knots will forever have a place in my heart. I do wish however, that they would update their old menu and clean up the dead bugs on the windows.

Family came in around 12:30 and we were the only ones there! The chef himself had to seat us, how weird! Maybe they never get customers during the weekend lunch hour that’s why they didn’t have any staff? We ordered the calamari and spinach salad. Those appetizers were really good! Big portions and came out fast. The complimentary garlic bread was a nice touch. Unfortunately the entrees themselves were underwhelming. The shrimp scampi was water logged and tasteless, the shrimp diavolo was too heavy on the sauce and watered down. And the penne and broccoli was just ok, but clearly more flavorful than the scampi! Go figure, place needs to step up their entrée skills a bit more because if those were good it would have been a four stars for sure.

This is our go-to place if we are in the mood to eat out for pizza. They have a small restaurant area that is very cozy and relaxed. Great option for a casual night out. The service is always excellent and we love the combo salad and garlic knots! We usually asked for a large version of the combo salad(carrots, celery, onions, lettuce, red peppers). The pizza is always fresh and crisp.

Food is always good here. Usually do delivery because dining room needs an upgrade(that’s why the 4 stars). Tables are always sticky(must be the wood) so a glass top or table cloth could cure that issue. Furniture is seriously dated BUT the food is really really good & John & Gilbert are great to their customers which makes up for the dining room ambience!

Used to love this place. The kids loved it, my wife loved and I loved it. It was all around great. Unfortunately not any more. The only thing that remains great are the garlic knots and the service. There were four of us tonight. Two enjoyed what they ordered, one was just OK, and I had to send mine back — it was sour. The replacement dish was good. But serving food that has soured just shouldn’t be. Someone had to know that certain ingredients were hanging around way too long. The next time they serve desert, they should also make sure it has defrosted first. From going there once a month, years ago, to now going once a year and not anymore for me.

Waited 45 min for our food. Bottle of white wine was old. Chicken dish came out raw and was sent back. Owner never came out to make it right. We left without eating and will Never return!

Three of us ate here and we all enjoyed our meals very much. Food preparation was slow, but well worth the wait, Italian combo was very good, chic scap, linguini ala vodka all very good. All ingredients very fresh.

In my quest to explore my neighborhood, I remembered from my childhood, some commercials about pizza pasta and things. It was about time to try the place. We came here late friday and the place was nearly empty. We ordered 2 pies and I have to say, the pizzas were good. The service was good and the price was about right. I’d give this place a 3.5

My family used to order food from here all the time when I was younger and lived in White Plains. As a kid, I didn’t really know too much — so I’d usually go along with eating the spaghetti with meat sauce, which was passable and was plenty of food for a young’un like I used to be. I never sat down to eat here, but it’s a small place — there’s a small entrance area with a couple of seats, and a dining area that’s not much larger next to it. Nothing too fancy to it, to say the least. The main problem I always had here was that the food quality was inconsistent, and getting the right food was more of a pain than it should have been. While the spaghetti and meat sauce was generally pretty consistent — a big heaping portion of ground beef sauce on top of thick spaghetti noodles — I ended up getting it often because it’s hard to mess it up. I started ordering the chicken scarpariella, which is delicious when done right… the problem is that sometimes, you’d get some mystery chicken parts that didn’t quite look like boneless breast(I guess that’s what you get for choosing something that, I remember quite vividly, stated had ‘chicken parts’). Other times, the broth would be way too soupy. My stepfather liked to get his linguine pescatore with green noodles, but it was generally a 1-in-3 chance that the standard noodles would show up instead. That said, it’s a local Italian restaurant that gets the job done. The prices aren’t bad, but it’s not going to be anything fancy. If you are looking to do takeout and delivery Italian of basic dishes, it’ll fill you up at the very least.
