Nice place for the kids to play hockey. Has a restaurant and beer. Bonus! You’re gonna need the beer to tolerate the psychotic hockey parents. Trust.

Three well-maintained rinks for hockey with plenty of seats for viewing, private training rooms, figure skating, & public skates. Additional studio is available for private usage. Nicely sized fitness room, meeting/party rooms for rental, & offers great hockey/skating programs. Check out available skate times on No School days! Friendly staff & the best hockey parents!!! Definitely one if the nicer ice arenas with multiple surfaces in Illinois/Chicagoland~

Leafs Ice Center is a pretty good ice rink. They have 3 surfaces and the locker rooms are usually kept in pretty good shape. I play in a mens league with the games later in the evenings on weeks nights, I have never seen the place out of control busy as I can assume 3 surfaces could get. Gunzo’s pro shop in the ice center would be my only compliant, I am not a fan of the skate sharpening and when I needed a cup in a pinch they only had Youth XL’s or Adult Smalls or XL’s. Neither of which would work for me.

Great experience overall. The kids loved skating there and the price is reasonable. $ 6 per person and $ 2 skate rental. I think the free skate is a bit crowded and wonder if they ever put a limit on the number of people that can be on the ice at one time. There were kids who were hockey players that appeared to be practicing their falls and slides on the ice… fun, but not great to do around a bunch of kids who are brand new at skating. They were scared the hockey players were going to crash into them… and there were a few close calls. I would NOT suggest playing the video games there. We bought $ 4 worth of tokens… so 16 total tokens… not a single game worked. We put in the required number of tokens, and nothing! The games are apparently seperate from the rink, so the staff will not return your money, take the tokens back, or put an «out of order» sign on the game. They did give me a slip of paper with phone number I could call… left a message, but no return phone call… seems like a great way for the game company to scam money out of parents. NOTHAPPY about that.
