Established in 2008.

Sir Build-​A-​Lot started as a construction and remodeling company. For the last 7 years I have been building decks, fences, and remodeling basements for customers all over central Iowa. In 2014 I obtained my license for both Radon measurement and mitigation. Now I am helping customers all over central Iowa make there homes a safer place to live. I moved to Iowa in 1979 to attend Simpson College. After graduating with a degree in physical education, I stayed in the midwest to raise my family. I have always enjoyed working with my hands and building things. After working many years in the customer service industry, I finally decided to start my own company. Sir Build-​A-​Lot was born in May of 2008. I provided construction services for home owners that needed a new deck or fence. I expanded my services and started to remodel basements and bathrooms and now I have a new goal. To help customers make there homes as safer place to live. I do this by providing both Radon measurement and migration services. After leaning about how Radon causes Lung cancer and that Iowa is worst in the nation, I decided to get my license in both mitigation and measurement. I now help people every day reduce this cancer causing gas in there homes. My goal now is to educate as many people about Radon gas so they can make there homes more safe.
