Kum & Go

Gas stations are supposed to be convenient, and this one seems to always have an issue with that. Stopped to fill up my tank on my lunch break so I wouldnt need to after work when it’s dark and a lot colder. Tried to pay at the pump and it wouldnt read my card, so after waiting for the screen to cancel for 5 mins I tried another card (thinking maybe it was a chip issue) the pump still couldnt read this card! Cancelled and tried it a few more times going different speeds with the removal and still got an error code. After that I tried to use the pay inside option and the machine had an error code again! Obviously there’s issues sometimes but this was ridiculous, especially when its cold and you dont have a lot of time! They do however have an excellent air pump with a built in pressure gauge and sometimes a friendly face to help you, but maybe stick to other stations if youre feeling gassy. ;)

Lots of stuff in here in regards to convenience store goods, including a milk shake machine that looked like a Vegas slot machine that was hacked to provide a delicious frozen dairy dessert. Damn lactose intolerance and long car ride, or I totally would’ve rocked a mocha cappuccino shake on the extra thick setting. Well, there’s always next time I find myself in Des Moines I suppose…
