Over 1 million dogs have been trained by Bark Busters Home Dog Training on a global level. Bark Busters International originates in Australia and came to the United States in 2000. Bark Busters of Greater Des Moines, brought the world’s largest dog training to the Des Moines, IA market in 2007. Bark Busters of Greater Des Moines is a locally owned franchise.

Business Owner

Deb Boswell is a graduate of Bark Busters Home Dog Training USA in Denver, CO. She has furthered her education through practicum training under instructors from the United States and Australia. In 2010 she attained the level of Master Dog Trainer & Behavioral Therapist with Bark Busters. She is a professional level member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). She has attained the CPDT-​KA designation based on experience level and knowledge through independent testing by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. Deb adheres to Bark Busters’ dog-​friendly training, which has been honored for humane methods. She works closely with veterinarians and area shelters to prevent re-​housing or relinquishing of pet dogs due to behavior issues. Deb is committed to helping dog owners have a more rewarding relationship with their dog by coaching owners how to communicate in a nonphysical way with their dog.
