The dentist/​orthos are really reliable. Jose works mostly with me and he’s always making sure I’m alright through the entire process. Hes firm and knowledgable. He always double checks to make sure everything is being done correctly and never fails to show that he cares.
I’m almost done with my braces and I can safely say I’ve been satisfied with the work. Everyone is really sweet and seem to have an eagerness to learn more about the procedures.
The previous reviews talk about a problem with the front desk people, but I haven’t experienced awful service. Lisa/​Angela always call to make sure I get to my appointment on time and address everyone if things are getting delayed.

The dentists and Dr Chi himself are very professional and skilled. However the front desk receptionist, Lisa, is horrible at her job. I’ve had my appointments rescheduled twice after waiting 20+ minutes in the waiting room on my day of the appointment. She just tell me «oh my mistake i didnt realize you were coming today» People have a 9−5pm everyday and can’t just reschedule especially if they already took a day off for the already setup appointment. Also I had an issue after my root canal where my tooth would ache when drinking cold fluids. I called Smile builder in hopes of finding out why it still hurt since my nerves were removed. Lisa answered the phone and assured me it was my gums, however I insisted that it was not my gums and it was in fact my tooth. She just continued to force her «guess» over the phone that I was just having sensitive gums from the root canal, which took place almost a month ago. Turns out my teeth was infected and had a build up of fluid which would of only got worse if I had not been insistent that there was something wrong.

Their communication and customer service is AWFUL. I work in a business where they strive to have the best communication and customer service so I know what excellent service is all about. The staff at this office say one thing and do another. You have to continue to remind them of your needs even after you’ve explained it once or twice! Also, their patient rooms are filthy. It’s full of boxed items on the counter tops which is not safe.
