This place is not worth your hard earned money. Disgusting!

We had breakfast there about five years ago. It was ok maybe three star, but these morning we had breakfast and it was tasteless. The waitress didn’t know the menue or even if the menudo was white or red. We order something else. The cashier knew the menu much better than the waitress. I would not chance going back to try the menudo.

good prices. Decent food. TERRIBLESERVICE. Where do I begin. I bought a coupon from . and presented it to the waitor before I ordered. a lady comes back and tells me in spanish that she can’t honor it because it needs management approval and mgmt wasn’t in. First off… I am asian. Does it look like I speak spanish? Our waitor couldn’t even speak any english but luckily I had a friend with me that did speak spanish. I asked if we can call the manager to confirm the coupon. He just laughs and avoids the question. Fine. Whatever. I was hungry so I was going to still order since I normally like the food there anyways and the prices drew me in. I order a wet carne asada burrito with green sauce. My food comes back in red sauce. My friend told the waitor about the wrong order and he tells her that the carne asada burrito only comes with red sauce. If I want green it won’t be carne asada. Really!!! I been here before and I nvr had complaints and something is obviously falling apart with mgmt here becuz even with great prices the service really makes u hate this place and drew me to make my first review on Unilocal negative. No tip for ur service!

Don’t go out of your way to eat here, but it’s ok. Just stick with the basics.

I had this at 4 stars, but I went back and everything was different and bad. They changed the cook and whoever they have now is not as good. This sucks because my family and I would go here quite often, but I things change. I guess we’re going to have to find a new place to kick it when we feel like having Mexican food.: \

This place is horrible. I bought a deal online(kind of like groupon) and it was good for $ 25 off of my purchase. Well… when I show up to the restaurant, there is NO waitresses or hosts. The place is empty. With the exception of one family that was eating there, but I think they were related to the owner because their kids were running in and out of the kitchen and getting more food. It’s a mess. NOT sanitary ATALL. Anyways, the cook comes out from the kitchen and asks how he can help us. So I explain about the coupon that I bought online. He has no idea what I’m talking about so he says«let me call the owner» So he calls«Mario» and Mario says«oh yeah, I signed up for that… but it’s only 25% off, not $ 25.» So I show the cook the coupon and it clearly states $ 25 off. He says«do you just want to come back tomorrow?» I said no and walked out. So… Service obviously sucks. The place itself is a hole in the wall that has old carpet and the walls look dirty. Oh and it has a B rating. DONOTGOHERE.

not only is the food mediocre, the service is not good. the food is inconsistent and overly microwaved. the carnitas arrived crispy(and not in a good way) from the microwave. the albondigas felt like they were fresh out of the can. the service is pretty slow and some of the staff is on the verge of rude. after several attempts at having dinner here, it’s been crossed off our list.

I haven’t been here in a while, but judging by the previous review, it seems to have changed some. I used to come here for breakfast with my parents on the weekend. Their menudo is usually really good and the service was always really friendly, although they were kind of slow. One thing I liked that as opposed to other Mexican restaurants, weekend breakfast/brunch was not dominated by loud as Nortena music, but rather by low key melodic live music by a husband and wife act. Very traditional, more sophisticated Latin music that made eating there pretty enjoyable. The breakfast plates were pretty good too, and big. I might stop by and try this place again if I’m ever in the area.

The food here is actually pretty decent as far as a whole in the wall Mexican restaurant goes. It doesn’t deserve a special trip, but if you live in this area, you could do worse. However, the service SUCKS. I have been here twice and both times it took several minutes before the waiter even came to get our drink orders and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Getting chips took about 20 minutes. Also, the music was really loud and I heard the bartender say that«if people don’t like it, they can stay home.» I’m gonna stay home… or, rather, go to a different restaurant.
