If you want to eat cheap Vietnamese food when you’re on a budget, this place suits perfectly fine. The only reason why I’ve been here several times is because of the buy one get one free boba drink. Can’t get wrong with that. The service is not that great. You get what you pay for, so don’t expect a great, or good service, when you get there. Come in for a fast food to satisfy your phở-craving and more so — your boba free cravings.

Wow. I don’t know how anyone eats this crap. It smells like dog in here which completely turned me off. My husband insisted on trying it so I compromised. I ordered the vegetable phở no tofu and my husband got the beef phở. Also, tried the green tea boba. My husbands food came out first looking so nasty. I promise you that was not beef. They are serving some other animal and calling it beef. His noodles looked soggy and over cooked. The aroma was making me sick to my stomach. My food came out about 5 minutes later and once I saw tofu floating around in it I was like no. I need my money back. The owner tried to tell me it wasn’t tofu, it was ham –_– like that’s any better smh. Even the green tea was nasty. How do you mess up tea? In conclusion they only refunded my food although every thing was basically untouched. Customer service was super shitty, excuse my language. However, I will give the cashier his credit. He tried to be nice but the manager was ridiculous.

The best. THEONLY place I eat in West Covina area. Cheap, AMAZING food, huge $ 3 sandwiches, 2 for 1 boba and other drinks. Huge bowls of Phở. I should have been born in Vietnam :) I usually get 2BBQ pork sandwiches, 2 boba milk teas, all for less than $ 10

I would never come back again!!! RUDE! I went because it was recommended since I am not familiar with the area and never again. I asked for extra sauce and the lady said it would be extra so I said no problem and gave her my money but instead she gave me extra sauce no charge. My friend called asking for extra sauce for her so I asked a worker who walked by and when he brought it out to me she yelled at me in front of the whole restaurant saying she already gave me some and I need to ask her because it cost 25 cents even though she already gave me some for free. Thank goodness for the extra sauce because the food was disgusting. I usually enjoy Vietnamese food but this place was gross. I’ll never go back instead I’ll go elsewhere. There looked to be MANY other choices in the area so I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Item ordered: Chicken Phở $ 4.35 including tax I have come here many times, but I mainly come here for the Chicken Phở. They open early in the morning so I like to get the chicken phở for breakfast. Best thing is that it’s empty in the morning and the cashiers aren’t grumpy yet. haha It’s just really hard to beat the price. The only other place that competes with the chicken phở as far as bang for the buck is Yum Cha Café in the plaza that has won ton noodle soup for under 5 bucks. Everything they have here is good bang for the buck.

Personally I think this restaurant is really bad the worst the food is so so but the service you have to be less than no worse than one star me and my family went to the restaurant this past week there was this guy serving us on the register rudest most the meanest SOB ever met. I had a concern regarding about the buy 2 get 1 sandwich deal and poster never specifically stated which sandwich it was. I told the gentleman I have to sandwich deal before without any problems and person keep arguing with me saying it’s not the deal at all. To make insult to injury this person ask a friend of his to teach me a lesson I’m assuming in Vietnamese telling another customer someone person knows to act like he was some type of boss making me look bad front of my family now you’re asking how do I know what person said? You see my wife is Vietnamese she translated it for me. And here’s the finishing blow this person following me and my family out to the door acting like he’s calling the cops or something. Treating us like some type of criminal or something I would not recommend going to this restaurant if you wish to be treated like a common criminal by these people.

This review is based on the french bread sandwiches, boba drinks, and shrimp spring rolls. First of all, I got 2 boba drinks, 3 sandwiches, and 3 pieces of spring rolls for just under $ 15. This place is a great bargain. The drinks are average. Not going to live up to boba specialty places but its gold especially considering the price. My honey green tea tasted slightly overbrewed but the boba milk tea was good. The sandwiches were great. Would definitely get them again. I recommend the bbq pork. The spring rolls were also good. They come with a generous amount of peanut dipping sauce. Tldr; come here for inexpensive(but tasty) sandwiches. Notes: There is a $ 10 card minimum.

If you need a quick bite at a low price, this is the place to go, which explains why it is always busy. They have different special promotions for everything. They have a buy 1, get 1 free drink promo for $ 3 with the choice of milk tea, green tea, Thai tea, and Jamaica drink and pudding, jelly, and boba as toppings. They have a togo special chicken curry or beef stew soup for $ 3.25. They also have chicken noodle soup(phở) for $ 3.99. They have a buy 2, get 1 free French bread sandwiches(banh mi) for $ 3.25 each. I definitely recommend the egg rolls and shrimp rolls! Soooo good and cheap. Their fresh spring rolls(goi cuon) are fresh and has an added crunch from the fried egg roll wrapper. Love it! I think that their Thai tea and green tea are the best of all their drinks. Their boba is either a hit or miss, just depends on the day. I didn’t really enjoy the chicken phở because the chicken was too boney for me. When it gets crowded, seating can be limited. Service is usually quick, but don’t expect them to be super friendly. Overall, good place to come to grab a bite and not have your wallet hate you for it.

Bogo free boba drinks and $ 4 chicken phở are good on the stomach and the wallet. The chicken phở is really good to me because they give you a very good amount of juicy chicken with skin on. The ginger sauce on the side goes perfectly with phở(I’m weird so I like to drown my chicken in the sauce before eating it). I have tried their beef phở and it’s not really good here. Their sandwiches are ok. To make it tastier, I go home and put mine in the oven to get the bread nice and toasty. Their thai tea is definitely the best drink here. I’ve had their milk tea and it wasn’t anything special. The green tea is a little too sweet. But honestly… you can’t really complain when it’s $ 2.75 bogo free… The service is okay. I’ve been here when the service was bad and when it was good(depends on who the cashier is). As long as they keep their prices low, I’ll come back :)

my, my, my. look at all these pretentious Unilocalers looking to spend $ 3 on a meal, but expect white table cloth service. I looooooooooooove BMCC! We always place party tray orders at this location for our meetings for work, and we always get more food for half our budget. The food always gets complimented on! We mainly order the baguettes and fried rice. I love their vegetarian ham and chicken baguettes, and their fried rice is unbeatable! $ 35 for the large party tray, and it tastes delicious !! All the food in the front is good too, egg rolls, etc. Pretty standard BMCC togo food. Their drinks are always BOGO, get out of hereeeeee! you can get milk tea with egg pudding, honey green tea, boba milk tea, basically all the drinks you normally will pay $ 5 for, but here, it’s like around $ 2 for TWO. Get off your high horses people! Come in, eat on your lunch, and get out! Easy-Peasy.

What the fuck happened to all the daikon? Is there a daikon shortage in the U.S. I come to this place for cheap and delicious banh mi sandwiches but I’ve been noticing lately that there’s little to no daikon in them. They’re packed with pickled carrots though. What the hec!?! Gimme some daikon! Other than sandwiches, you can also get pre-made or freshly made meals here for about $ 4-$ 7. They also have egg rolls, fried rice and various other types of Vietnamese food too. Plus they also sell cocaine in the form of iced coffee. Nice. Don’t expect great service here. Just buy your food and get out.

Chicken phở for $ 3.50 is unbeatable. The chicken is actually tender and they provide a ginger dipping sauce which perfectly compliments the chicken. A bowl of chicken phở is cheaper than a meal at MCD or other fast food restaurant!

There’s like a lot of phở places in Hong Kong plaza and decided to give this place a try since I always pass by it and their sign that says«buy one boba get one free» lured me in since I was craving phở and boba and sandwiches. First things first, their menus are on the wall and you need to know what to order or else those ladies behind the counter are going to start being mean, my cashier was pretty grouchy while I was ordering, she didn’t even dictate the total amount due when I finished ordering, she was just standing there with a sour face. That’s a minus one star right there. Anyway I ordered 2 Phở Soups, 3 French BBQ sandwiches and 2 boba milk tea. All for like $ 18ish which is not bad. I ordered them to go. When I got to my sister and brother in laws place and we started to eat the food, I noticed the phở broth wasn’t that good. It was pretty bland and lacked natural phở flavor even though I’ve already seasoned the soup with the lime and hoisen sauce, it still lacked that umph that most phở places have in their phở, plus their noodles didn’t taste fresh at all(I’m not even Vietnamese but actually can’t differentiate the difference between fresh and not fresh noodles) so that’s another minus one star. Their boba… oh man now I know why it’s buy one get one free, the boba pearls themselves do not even have flavor, it’s like you’re chewing through tasteless chewy round jello and plus the cup size is pretty small compared to your ordinary normal size at an actual boba store and their sandwich, I’ve ate Vietnamese sandwiches from three places before and if I had to rank and compare the four different places I’ve had Vietnamese sandwich, I’d rank this one at the lowest out of the four. Their sandwich just like their phở broth lacks flavor. The only thing in their Vietnamese sandwich that totally caught me off guard and slapped me in the face was that they had some spicy green pepper in it that I bit into and instantly took off since I’m not into spicy food. So basically combined with their tasteless small portioned boba and bland sandwich, That’s another minus one star. I’d go back to this place if I had no where else to go for phở. But thing is, there are two or three other phở places in the same plaza.

I’m pretty sure this is the closest bahn mi che cali location near me so I was happy to find that they opened one here since the others are in Monterey Park, Westminister, and Fullerton that I remember. They have some good deals too. Buy 2 get 1 free sandwich: You pay $ 6 for 3 sandwiches. I got nem cuon which I think is #1($ 3.25). Buy 1 get 1 free drink: $ 2.75. Boba milk tea, pudding milk tea, jelly milk tea, green tea, Thai tea– your choice and I usually get the Thai tea with boba. They have alot of packages that are near the register like fried rice(Com chien $ 3) that my brothers really like and I got goi cuon(fresh spring rolls) for $ 3.25. Large parking than the other places. Place was a bit messy and no ac inside. Staff is grumpy, plus the guy who took my order gave me another person’s drink order and I had to ask to switched them out for mine since I was about to leave. $ 10 min to use card.

I was hoping to have high hopes for this place, boy was I dissapointed. I came here after a rush of customers dining in. The only way I know is that there was four tables being occupied with customer dining in, the rest of the empty tables was filled with table numbers & empty dishes. I ordered a shrimp phở & Thai tea. The shrimp phở, the phở noodles are over cooked & basil was not fresh. I love how the young waitress comes out to clean an empty table with nobody sitting & waiting for their meal to be eaten at the restaurant. For example… well my table. She comes out to clean one empty table and goes back in the kitchen to grab some food to sit down and eat her meal, WTF? Another waitress come to my table to bring my food. I kindly ask her to wipe my table before I ate my phở, she said okay. She goes into the back to get a rag, comes back out & wiped my table clean and removed the dishes from the last customer. There’s another BMC restaurant on Azusa Avenue in Covina I may try next time. The hell with this place!

Your typical Asian fast food place. Great food, Great prices, Terrible service. If you can get over the fact that the staff here won’t wait on you, or care if you have any type of allergies, or know what substitutes are, you will have a great time here. I am actually a regular here because of their insanely low prices and great food. Also, portions are so very satisfying! You can Get a GIANTBOWL of chicken phở for under $ 3. Kind of makes you feel bad for complaining that none of the staff looked you in the eye or smiled once while you were there. The other thing that makes this place worthwhile is the 2 for 1 boba special. The boba here is better than some of the boba places in DTLA. FORSHAME. Either way I still recommend this place, whether you want great service or not because I would be terribly sad if this staple of mine goes away. Support your local businesses! Eat up!
