Gorgeous Nails By Vicky

About a week ago, I got a gel manicure by Vicky. I was very pleased with her service because she was so sweet and very attentive. She paid great attention to detail. But, I’m updating my review because the polish on my left thumb chipped after a week! :-(I’ve never had a gel manicure chip, and in a week no less. :-(
I’m really disappointed because I really loved the work. It’s okay; maybe next time will be better.

I have been seeing Vicky for almost a year I will never trust my nails to anyone else she is amazing my nails last forever and no matter what shape I choice she makes it perfect and knows all the newest techniques. Appointment only

Vicky is one of the best nail technicians out there. She is detailed with her work. Very talented. She does not rush through, she will go back and fix minor mistakes. She won’t cut deep into your cuticles like other technicians.
She is attentive and I enjoy the quiet setting. She works by appointment only. Which is great! My polish stays on much longer.

I will never trust another person with my nails after Vicky, I found her on here and I’m so glad I decided to go to her. Not only is she great at what she does but she really listens to you and understands what you want. Because this isn’t a nail salon Vicky really takes her time with you and doesn’t rush, she is so friendly and really gets to know you. After going to so many salons I’ll definitely never go back she really changed my nail experience. I highly recommend you go to Vicky you will not be disappointed.

I am definitely a fan. In one visit, she took me away from my former nail shop. I found her here on Unilocal and then stalked her instagram page, then was hooked.
First of all, I keep getting actual, sincere comments about my nails. Never happened to me before. And this is with them painted ORLY Green With Envy, which may not be the most office-​appropriate shade, but it is beautiful. Speaking of, this polish has lasted almost two weeks, with minimal touch up required (I put on another coat of clear top coat after a week, and touched up the tips with the ORLY polish — YES I went out and bought a bottle). She has some secret skill with that. I type all day and barely have chip wear. Even though it is time for another fill (I have already booked an appointment), my nails still look great. I have them in a coffin shape and they are still somewhat square at the end which is a small miracle.
She is located in a salon, which is not a nail salon, which is nice. I like the non-​rushed atmosphere and Vicky is very attentive and up on the latest nail trends,. We talked about nail stuff the entire time and she was wonderful even though she was not feeling well. She stayed for my appointment anyway and I did not feel in any way that she was not doing her best. I can only imagine the artistry that will happen at my next appointment if she is feeling 100%.

I first found Vicky on IG and Unilocal searched her to see more photos of her work. I have gone to her twice and have loved each time. I myself am in the beauty industry and love her booking system… BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. It works! No one likes to feel rushed, right? I like my nails done properly and Vicky did just that without any interrupton! She’s most def my new nail lady.

I have been looking for a new nail place around West Covina for quite some time. It hasn’t been that easy.
I didn’t think I was looking for much but apparently finding a nail shop in this area that is clean, had a polished looked, not loud chatter and the most important a nail tech that wouldn’t rush me because I was only getting a gel. (Although, I love the nail designs I am not one to get them. I am a little of a plain Jane when it comes to my nails.) Nonetheless, I want my nails to be polished correctly, my nails to be filed all the same length & shape, my cuticles to be cut and cleaned, and my gel polish to last more than two days or a week or even two weeks. Just when I thought I would not find a place and/​or a nail technician around this area I finally did, Vicky.
I sat on my phone last week and viewed all the nails spots around me. Vicky’s name popped up and I checked out her IG page (nailsbyvicky) and read the reviews. I thought it would be worth a shot to shoot her a text and get my nails done before the big holiday rush. She responded quickly to my text & the appointment set up was easy. Vicky was courteous to stay later than she normally would to accommodate my schedule. That right there was pretty awesome. Definitely earned points there.
I got to my appt. The salon itself is very clean. There wasn’t loud chatter. There was no one yelling. In a nutshell, everything I was looking for. Vicky is super friendly. She knows what she is doing. I can tell when someone is going to polish your nails pretty darn good and she did a wonderful job. She cleaned up my cuticles without cutting me. She didn’t over buff. She asked me if I wanted the color deeper without assuming I didn’t or did. She filed my nails perfectly. Ladies, I found my nail tech.
I definitely recommend Vicky. You can tell she likes what she does and her work reflects it. Make your appointment!

I came across Vicky through Instagram and decided to try her out. I’m so glad I went to her! She’s very professional about her work and does a great job. She takes her time on her clients which is really nice, because other salons, you feel rushed because they are trying to get through so many clients and just want you in and out.
It’s very clean and relaxing in there. She only works by appointments only but she can be beer flexible. There’s no kids running around and it’s not loud in there. It’s calm and peaceful and relaxing.
I get the acrylic gel nails and they last for at least a good 3 weeks if not longer. You get what you pay for, which is excellent service!

I have bounced from nail salon to nail salon looking for someone who took pride in her work & I found her! Vicki is awesome. She is up to date on all the latest nail creations. She works by appt. Only which gives you that personal touch. She does clean work & is detailed oriented. I’m a happy camper… thank you Vicki

I found Vicky on Unilocal and I am sooo very pleased with her talent. She is amazing and I love how clean the salon is and the fact that she is only taking clients by appointment only. I have been her client twice now and I love my results. Vicky is a true artist and my gel manicures prove it! Vicki had been doing my nails for years. Every time she moved, I have followed her. She has always been very friendly and professional. I enjoy talking and laughing with her. Vicki Thank you for always making my nails look beautiful.

Vicky is the best nail tech! I think I’ve been with her at least 3 or 4 years. She was the first nail tech that did a full set, and my hands felt wonderful afterward with no cuts. While I get gel manicures due to playing sports, whatever service you get Vicky will take great care of you. She is very professional, takes great pride in her work, and aims to make her customers happy.
