Jicel did my wedding hair and make-​up a few months back and it was the BEST decision I ever made. Jicel was simply PERFECT. Her work is flawless, her professionalism is unbeatable, and her work ethic is amazing. I absolutely loved everything about the hair and make-​up, it lasted all night, looked gorgeous, felt great and she really captured how I wanted to look that day. Jicel is also fun and great to work with. She was super fun to be around and made the getting-​ready moment so nice and calm. She had to deal with a crazy bird-​cage veil and had so much patience figuring out how to put it just right. I also had a bit too short side bangs and she knew exactly how to style them. I am not exaggerating when I say she did everything right. She had the perfect attitude, she made the make-​up look super natural and great in pictures, and the hairdo was beautiful AND comfortable!
Everybody that met her loved her, super sweet, kind, simply lovely. If you are looking for hair and make-​up please don’t look any further, she is exactly what you want! Every person that looks at my wedding pictures asks me who did my hair. Not kidding. Simply excellent! Thanks so much Jicel!

Jicel was recommended to me by the lady who waxes my eyebrows (see my other reviews for her information). Anyway, so I figured I was in pretty good hands with Jicel. I set up my appointment with her for a wedding I was attending as a guest. She showed up to my friend’s house and began her work. She looked at the photo I wanted and gave me suggestions on what to change. I am so weird with my eyes and having anything near my lids, but everything turned out great. I looked like a completely different person! I will use Jicel again when I have a fun event coming up. Besides the makeup application, I didn’t feel weird with her. We talked, laughed, and shared stories. I thought I would be sitting in silence the whole time or on my phone, but that wasn’t the case. She even helped me with my bra (VS backless V plunge) bra… haha :) That is saying something if I felt comfortable enough to even ask her to help me. :)

I am so happy I found Glamour on the Go! Jicel did an amazing job on my makeup and my sister’s makeup for our college graduation. She made us look so pretty and it stayed put for the majority of the day! Have reference photos for her, so she can get an idea of how you want to look. She also listens for any changes that you may have. Jicel is so sweet and professional with her work. She arrived on time and was able to meet early in the morning for us. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs their makeup done!

So this is my first time leaving a review ever on Unilocal!!!I’m leaving a review because Jicel and Ashley deserve the praise. They both made me look so good!!! I got a lot of compliments at the wedding. Not only did they do an amazing job, they are some really cool girls. I would definitely use them again and I highly recommend them to anyone!!!

Months before my wedding I had been on Unilocal to search for make up artists that I know would really make me beautiful on my wedding day. I saw Jicel’s and asked my fiancé to call her since I live overseas. When we finally got the date for the wedding, we booked Jicel right away without any hesitations. I didn’t even had a trial make up before the wedding and just put my trust on her.
I gave her the location and time 2 days prior the wedding. She showed up early, made me feel relaxed as I was nervous. I told her what I want and she told me what she thinks will look best in me. I told her to do what she think is best instead. Lol. Jicel is AWESOME! I know that she did a great job on me. Lol. I would always recommend her, and she will be my go-​to girl starting now.

Words cannot describe the amazing work Jicel does! I have zero talent when it comes to makeup and whenever special events came up, I would just run to MAC to get it done. I was coming out in a wedding and needed someone to do my makeup early that morning. I searched and searched for a mobile makeup artist and I was so blessed that I found Glamour On the Go! She is professional, funny, sweet, and turns you into a goddess! I received so many compliments and my makeup was still looking fabulous after all the running around, dancing, sweating, etc. I am insecure and shy but I felt so beautiful and confident. I HIGHLY recommend her for your glam needs. She is a true gem and extremely skilled! I am definitely booking her for ALL my future events. I can never thank her enough!

I had been desperately searching for someone to do my wedding for months! I found Jicel through a girlfriend of mine who highly recommended her. The morning of my wedding Jicel came to my house, set up her equipment and got straight to work. She showed each of my bridesmaids how to do everything as she went, she picked out all the right colors, explained which types of things that would work for each of us, and gave us a list at the end of what she’d used. We looked super glam, yet natural. And we were able to re-​create the look ourselves after she left.
She’s a total sweetheart. She even checked in the next day to see if we had any questions. If you’re looking for a lesson or for a great makeup artist whose philosophy is to make the woman look STUNNING, not just look like she has on great makeup, call Jicel! You won’t be disappointed.

Jicel did my wedding day makeup and again just a few days ago for a friend’s wedding. Repeat customer here! Must mean something, right? She knows what she’s doing for sure :) She’s not satisfied until you look and feel absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely use her again for future events. I was more than lucky to find Jicel just a few days before my engagement photo shoot. I was almost desperate for a makeup artist, but I did not want just any makeup artist I wanted somebody who was professional and talented as I am very PICKY! I contacted Jicel and I couldn’t believe how fast she responded to my message. I was more than thrilled when Jicel told me that she was available for a Sunday hair and makeup session, so of course I immediately booked an appt. Jicel has the perfect personality for what she does, she is just a doll. She was not only professional, but she was genuine and I could immediately tell that she would do a great job.
Jicel met all of my expectations and left me feeling like a princess!!! Yes, I felt flawless and just like a princess. My hair and makeup was perfect for my outfit and everything turned out more than great. Jicel will be my go to MUA for all of my future events. She is more than amazing!!!

Having little to no talent with makeup, I’ve always been in the lookout for a good makeup artist to go to on my special occasions.
I first chanced on Jicel’s reviews here on Unilocal and decided to try her magic touch for my office Halloween party. I dressed up as supergirl and boy did I look the part. She first told me about her vision of classic curls, red lips, and all. I liked everything she told me except for the red lips since I’ve always shied away from red lipstick because it’s not flattering for my features and skin tone. To my delight, she chose the most beautiful Shae of red to match my features. Talk about knowing her color chart and craft!
After seeing the overall look, I booked her right there and then for my company holiday party which just left me with a big wow factor. Jicel’s is amazing and I definitely recommend her to everyone who wants to look their best.

Jisell hizo mi Makeup y desde q me puso el Makeup sentí una sensación de suave perfecto como seda. Y no me quería ver para ver el resultado final !! Al final mi cara era un total makeover. Hermosa yo tengo mis ojos como saltados y las maquillistas me los dejan como inchados, porq maquillar mis ojos es un reto sin grandes y muy altos. Pero Gisel lo hizo perfecto mis ojos eran bellos hermosos ella escogió las perfectas pestañas y todo se veía espectacular !!! En las fotos salí hermosa !!! Y eran las 12 de la noche el Makeup estaba intacto perfecto hasta mis labios. No me quería quitar y amanecí perfecta maquillada omg. Increíble la mejor !!! Me muero por tener otra ocacion para contratarla. Oh y todas mis amigas me dijeron dame el numero de tu Makeup lady. Es bello. Y todas la van a contratar !!. Ella es increíble. Andrea you are absolutely the best makeup artist! I mean it! She was so professional, patient, precise, determined, and above all very pleasant to work with. I loved how my makeup turned out as well as the rest of the bridesmaids. I asked her about all the product she was applying and what each product did. She answered all my questions. Her breath even smelled fresh… they are all up in your face so that’s good she came prepared! I have your business card for the next time I need to get pampered!

I just had my make up trial done today by Jicel for my wedding and so far I have had a really great experience… she is simply AMAZING!!!
I tried another make up artist a month or so ago before Jicel and all I can say is Jicel really knows what she is doing. She arrived on time and was super personable, very easy to get along with and she was just comfortable to be around. She asked me for reference photos of what I liked and I really didnt have a clear picture of what I wanted. Jicel helped me piece it together and I felt freaking beautiful when she finished.
My wedding is about a month away and I’m nervous about alot of things, but not my make up! I feel super confident about how I’m going to look on the big day and it’s because of Jicel! Thank you!!!

I found Jicel on Unilocal after researching dozens of makeup artists. Not only did she have the best rates, but I absolutely loved her style, especially compared to other artists. I emailed her an inquiry and she responded within a day, and she was very personable. Booking her was a no brainer for me. We attempted to schedule a bridal trial for me, and it took a few reschedules to make the trial happen due to unforseen circumstances, but Jicel always took the time to communicate and make sure I was taken care of, and she gave me the assurance I needed as a nervous bride.
When the trial happened, Jicel was absolutely fantastic. She showed up right on time, and got down to business. So easy and pleasant to talk to. She worked quickly, which helped me feel better about my big day, as I have 7 other ladies that will need makeup. She asked to see some examples of what I wanted, and we were able to narrow it down to some looks. She was also happy to provide her input, but didn’t force her opinions on me, which I appreciated. I have had my makeup done before, and people never know what to do with my eyes (not sure why). But Jicel does. I was stunned when I saw the finished product. My skin looked perfect and glowy, and my nose was so skinny (which I loved), and she gave me tips on how EXACTLY to use liner so I can pull off the Kylie Jenner pout without looking like a clown. I felt so glamorous without feeling like the makeup was overwhelming. I went out that night, and was getting compliments from the least likely people. Five hours later, the makeup still looked freshly applied. I was sad when I had to remove it.
It’s also a comfort to know that friends have recommended her to me, not knowing that I’ve already booked her. I’ve already recommended her to a few friends, one of whom is also a talented makeup artist, and she booked Jicel for her wedding in a few days. Thank you so much Jicel — I’m so excited for the big day!

Jicel is seriously a fairy godmother of makeup and hair and sprinkles her magic setting powder (Ben Nye Neutral Set powder — lifechanging magic powder!!!) that had my hair and makeup flawless from early morning to past midnight!!!
I contacted her a week before a wedding I was appearing in as the maid of honor. She got back to me right away and was able to squeeze me into her busy day! I was excited and my contact with her through text was so friendly and receptive to ideas! you could already tell she was very down to earth!
She arrived the day of the wedding and even though she caught some traffic, she kept me posted right away. When she arrived, she was so pleasant and easygoing! She greeted my family and they loved her personality right off the bat.
We got started right away and she heard out my ideas and she addressed all my concerns and makeup needs! As she worked, she was so friendly and you can tell she loves her job! Along the way, the transformation was amazing! i felt very comfortable sitting for her as she continued finishing my hair and makeup.
By the end, I felt like a million bucks! The makeup was perfect amount– not heavy, cakey, dry or overdone! My boyfriend was expecting the cakey, sometimes overdone «MAC» look but was so pleased to see my beauty enhanced in such a flattering way by Jiicel’s talented artisty!
She left me with such a wonderful look and some extra powder and tips to extend the look all day and even everyday wear recommendations for products!
And let me tell you about the wear and testinony to her skills:
My makeup and hair lasted from 10 am through 2 am in this 90+ heat, in the sun while taking pictures mid day in Pasadena, through sweating and dancing, and all the pictures even toward the end of the night, my classic wing was still on point (she used Inglot gel and that stuff is fierce) still look super amazing! In some pictures, I was worried about that awful «flashback» that comes from certain ingredients in makeup, and there was NO WORRY about that at all!
She also followed up midday to ask how my makeup held up and I had been getting so many compliments on it ALL DAY!
Seriously, I felt like Cinderella and Jicel was my very own Makeup&Hair Fairy Godmother!
Thank the makeup gods for Jicel! I will definitely be hiring her for future makeup and hair needs!
