Absolute worse. I swear that they don’t care about you get considering the fact that you wait weeks at a time only to wait hours with an apt only to be seen under a new doctor everytime who can barely stand being in a room for more than 5 minutes with a patient. Do you get better after a doctor’s visit at eat Valley? 7 out of the 9 times here I didn’t. There’s always something they’re missing.
Please please get better east Valley. People’s health depends on it

I’ve been foolish enough to come back each time I had a problem or needed help. The service could always be better but what breaks my heart is the lack of compassion the staff has over at East Valley. During my appointments, I’m speaking to someone’s back since they don’t even bother looking at me or giving me any eye contact. I’m rushed out of there, like they want nothing to do with me. I’ve made follow up appointments only to receive very brief messages that they needed to be cancelled with no reason nor an opportunity to reschedule. Not one person, sick or scared, should ever have to be treated this way much less feel like they don’t matter.

My 3^rd time here and I must say the worst service ever… My boyfriend and I went to see a doctor for the first time, they said we had to come back before 2 pm we did the next day they decided to tell us we could not see a doctor and that we needed a appointment! Why didn’t they say that in the first place instead of saying walk-​ins welcome before 2.?! Anyway we got another appointment 3 weeks later and guess what happens. They tell us the doctor is behind 3 hours and that we could reschedule tomorrow. Why is it so hard to see a doctor? Worst experience every time. I am going to look for something else

I’m surprised on how this clinic is still open. way over worked employees. The wait time is not worth to see the dr. how about having more Dr’s on staff to help pt care? that sounds like a great idea… how about for every 30 min wait to the pt. anything over 30 mins you give us a lunch voucher to subway. This should come out of the Dr salary. or even better. There end of the year bonus. no pt should wait more then 30 mins to see the dr. I really hate to see older people just waiting with no ride room. or even have to take the bus.
changing laboratories ain’t gonna help.
When your Unilocal reviews are all negative something should of charge get a long time ago. I hear employees whispering this place is a joke.
I’ve seen place getting awards for great Unilocal reviews. wonder if this clinic got 1 for bad ones. love to see that posted.

This place sucks even with an appointment it’s an HOUR WAIT don’t waist your time hear. Switching Drs asap…

The staff are very professional and caring at the East Valley Community Health Center in Covina on College Street. The male nurse Guillermo was excellent from beginning to the end of my appointment. His humor and insight are good characteristics of high quality medical care. Doctor Elaine is so far the best doctor I’ve had since I was a child. She genuinely cares about her patients and her main goal is to educate and bring healthy lifestyles to the community. I got my TB shot, blood work, and my medications refilled in less than 1 ½ hours. They should be praised for their hard work!

This is the worst place you can pick for a doctor. I would HIGHLY recommend choosing else where. If you want to make an appointment and have to wait a month or longer. Then when the day your appointment finally comes, you are 15 mins early, then have to wait an additional 2 hours to actually see your doctor. On top of that the doctor I saw comes in talks with me, then says «Give me a second» leaves and then never returns. If someone says «Give me a second» that means they will return, NOT THAT THE CONSULTATION IS OVER.
I guarantee you will suffer the same if you choose this location as yours.

The worst place to go, the front desk receptionist are rude and disrespectful. They don’t know how to answer questions. They roll there eyes when you ask when your next after waiting for 3 hours to see the dr, even if you have an appointment. The wait there is horrible there’s no point of having an appointment if your going to wait for 3 hours. The waiting room or bathroom are not clean. I wish they would know how to make appointments correctly and not make you wait for 3 plus hours. Also have the receptionist look like they enjoy there job and know that the patients are the ones who give them there checks. Without patients no money will go to this place.

Worst service ever. Had an appt @11:30 but i came 11:00. 2 hours later I still havent seen anyone.

This place was pretty nice when I would go. I seen different providers here for over the course of a couple years for various conditions. The wait was somewhat long but when they were busy. Sometimes it was fast, depending on how many patients were there. Not really a good place for «walk in’s» at all, even if your problem demands attention (triage) was not the best. I give it 4 stars for the providers. The BEST one was/​is Ngyen (PA), she was awesome at what she did! Sanchez (PA I believe) was not so great as far as attitude. Ngyen ALWAYS had a smile and greeted me and had such an awesome personality! They have a lot there. They treat a wide range of conditions. Pretty clean environment, very clean rooms. Very good privacy.

I went to the one in Pomona the new one and the dr just spent 5 minutes with me didn’t help me with anything I asked. 0 stars

If I could give this place a big fat 0 stars I would!!! Called to make a same day appointment because I have pregnancy issues and Cynthia who I have the pleasure of speaking to every time I call gave me the same horrible attitude with the same horrible tone of voice, after putting me on hold several times she comes back to tell me to go to the ER and there’s nothing she can do to help me because I haven’t had my first appt! I didn’t ask to bump up my first appt I asked if I can see the dr for the issue I have NOW! After explaining to her that I already did go to the ER and they advised me to make an appt 1 – 2 days after my ER visit she said «there’s nothing we can do to help you» and to go back to the ER! She then said in her miserable sounding voice sorry ok bye and hung up on me! After repeatedly calling back and getting hung up on every time I did, because she hung up on me without asking me if I needed anything else because I also needed to make an appt for my husband now I have to choose between going to the ER and dealing with ER Drs instead of an OB but I have to wait until My appt to make my husbands appt! I love my Dr but I really hate the miserable customer service!

This review is solely to compliment the receptionist Irene H, who, in a sea of crabby, disgruntled coworkers, remains calm, is knowledgeable and most of all FRIENDLY! I DREAD coming here but whenever Irene helps me, I don’t regret the trip. It’s a breath of fresh air to see someone so sweet and undeterred by the rudeness around her. She actually loves her job and it shows through her compassion and initiative. Thank you, Irene, for making my visits a little less unbearable!

I never write bad reviews but this place gives me nervous breakdowns every time I come. The worst service ever. I have even had to have a sit down complaint with the manager that is how angry I get when I am here. Every time I come in I have to fill out the same form regarding my employment and income, I say that I filled it out the last time and nothings changed and they look it up and its my old info from years ago. They say they need to update it every 6 months and i come almost once a month. They just dont enter in my new info!!! They also hang up on you if you call. They take people that have later appointment times then you BEFORE you and their scheduled time if you arrive 5 mins late. The waiting room is always packed with 50 people. and you wait hours. I dont understand why they schedule so many appointments. Oh, and they spend 10 minutes with you and if you go over cuz you have another question/​concern, they make you reschedule for another day. I am grateful for free healthcare but the first chance I get I am out of here. You get what you pay for.

Terrible experience! My daughter was a new patient, first visit, reception was rude, waited 1 ½ hours for triage (which isn’t too bad if your actually going to see a doctor) after waiting close to 2 hrs… she was told that they couldn’t see her that day but that she could come back on the 30^th…11 DAYS LATER! she went to the E.R. and thankfully was seen quickly. She was very sick with a fever of 103… needless to say we have already changed back to our old provider.

Service is great, the staff is very friendly. As are the Docs. Wait can be a bit but with the service they give you I feel it makes up.

What a disservice this place is. Don’t waste your time here. They don’t know how to run this place appropriately. I don’t mind waiting if I don’t have an appointment I expect to be weaved into the schedule, but don’t let me hang around in pain and then tell me after a long wait in line and in the waiting room that you can’t see me after all. Have some courtesy and let your patients know so you don’t waste their time there. This is how the communities that need these services the most get treated! Disgusted

This was slightly disappointing.
I drove to the clinic because I wanted to see how much vaccines cost and no one was answering the phone. When I got to the information desk and asked, the girl told me to make an appointment. I was really confused so I apologized and asked again. She told me she had no idea and that I needed to make an appointment. I got no other information than that.
It took a visit to the sister clinic in Pomona to find out that due to my age, the costs varied and depended on what the doctor said, which was why I needed an appointment.
West Covina location, you get two stars for the fact that your information nurse really did not know the costs of vaccines, but you lose three because she giving me almost no information and was more helpful to her Hispanic clients. I don’t really like to play the race card, but she was a lot friendlier when she was speaking in Spanish than when she was speaking in English. So… I ended up going elsewhere.

Worst of the worst !!! DON’T EVER COME HERE!!!
My mom had appointment to get her medications at 3:30pm. We arrived 15 min early and still have to wait 2 and ½ long f**k**g hrs just to call her in then she was asked to come back out to the waiting room BECAUSE ALL THE ROOMS WAS OCCUPIED!!! Then why the hell do they even set up appointments all at the same time !!!
Then she was called 30 min later (which make this 3 hours wait) and asked all short of questions (by the nurse) which was beside the point. She just there to refill her meds…

Veronica Sanchez is not a doctor, FYI. Not professional and I didn’t feel comfortable at all. Had blood work done and came back for a follow-​up. She says «ok. You’re fine.» Um… what? How is my cholesterol? How is my anemia? No numbers, nothing.
Secondly, as a «professional», you have to use medical terms, not slang. I know we’re probably the same age, but you are not allowed to talk to a patient like a friend.
