Great staff, knowledgeable. When it comes to freshwater/​planted tanks they are the best local fish store in the San Gabriel area. Prices are extremely competitive, have been coming here for years. Lacking 1 star because their salt water selection is so so. but not bad, still worth the visit!

Probably the best planted tank aquarium store in Southern California I have gone to so far. They have a wide selection with knowledgeable employees, as well as unique fishes and inverts that they have come in. They craft unique show tanks that they keep their livestock in, so that the animals have a nice home to live in before their final sale. They also have a huge assortment of supplies and tanks available for those looking to build new additions or those just starting.

I am new to this. These guys are very helpful and very patient. They answered our questions and helped us set up a fresh water tank and a salt water tank. They made me feel very welcome. I definitely recommend checking them out.

Employees pretty helpful. Got a lot of exotic fish and plants. Slit of fresh water fish selection. Good selection of supply, accessories. Worth the drive to check it.

Ask for Eddy. Super helpful and he will give you his honest option. This is a very clean shop. They have everything you need to start and keep your tank running. I was able to get my salt tank setup and keep it stable with the help from CK Fish world. If you want a fish or item, ask, they can place orders to get fish or corals. Wednesday after 2pm is when they get new fish delivered to the shop.

I’m on my way from Korea town, heard so many good things about this fish store. Hopefully they have some nice plecos and loaches :)

Went here because of the great reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. The tanks were healthy and the fishes are happy. They have on display a high tech and low tech freshwater planted tanks. Amano would be so proud to see this. The guys were super nice and knowledgable. I got a great deal on a low iron glass aquarium and 2 bags of fluorite. Keep up the good work!

This is THE best Fish Store. It is close to where I am but I would still come here if I had to drive 50 miles to get there. They really care about their fish and their customers! All their employees are very friendly and informative, with excellent suggestions and they’ll even take time to ask questions.
They have a wide variety of fish and plants and I have not had any problems with any fish or plants that I’ve bought from them. There are amazing aquascapes and beautiful displays to look at as well. This is my favorite place to go to and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Go there all the time, they are very knowledgeable and willing to answer your questions. Pricing is the best in the area.

This is my go-​to place when I need anything aquarium related. They have fish, decorations, and aquarium equipment for virtually any size and type of aquarium set up you might want. You won’t find a lot of their stocks in your chain stores, and even in most local fish stores in general. Definitely a good place to check out especially if you are interested in coral frags, ornamental shrimp, and planted tanks.

I been going to this place for almost 13 years ever since I had a fish tank, Peter knows what he’s talking about, I recently got a 180 gallon fresh water tank from him and they were all very helpful and knowledgeable getting me set up, thanks guys.

This is the best Aquarium shop around the neighborhood. Much better than Petco or Petsmart. Super friendly customer services. They try their best to help you and I was able to make an exchange on items I bought in a few weeks with no problem. I really recommend those who are new on Aquascaping, Aquarium shrimp, Betta fish lover or any sea creatures should come here! They have tones of items and they show their Aquascaping in the shop! I highly recommend everyone should go and see!
They also have many cool tanks with bent glass from Asia where many competitions of aquarium hobbies are. Which you don’t see in most of other aquarium shop.

I will never go back to Petsmart again. I guess its a rite of passage. Walmart Petsmart and then to a quality specialty fish store like this. They have excellent and knowledgeable employees and a higher quality of fish than the big chains. I was really tired with the abrupt rude behavior at petsmart and had long been away fro the clueless employees and dead fish at Walmart. I equipped my latest tank with Fish world.
The fish were lovely and are extremely active.
I highly recommend this store and will definitely allow them to meet my fish needs.

Great store! Got some plants, driftwood, and stones. Glad to finally go somewhere other than petco/​smart. Too bad this place is an hour drive.

I took my daughter in 30 minutes before the store was closing to look for a replacement fish (Naso Tang) but forgot to take my wallet. My daughter was excited about getting a new fish but became very disappointed that we would not go home with a new fish since I forgot my wallet. Eddie, the employee, saw her disappointment and offered me to take the fish home and come in and pay the next day. Well, Eddie, you’ve made my daughter very happy and that makes me very happy. Thanks a million.

Recently bought a beta fish the workers there were so helpful an respectful, they answered every question I had, later that day I went to buy a starter kit, planning on going to buy more fish (: I highly recommend this place

It’s crazy because I was always so reluctant to go to this place until today when I was forced. I thought it was gonna be the same old fish store type which it kinda was but I was so impressed with everything they had. They have awesome display tanks. A wide variety of fishes. They even have rows of shrimp!!! Which I thought was pretty cool and definitely hard to come by. The staff were very friendly and eager to help. They have great prices too! Such an awesome store. It is a must visit if you’re in the fish hobby. Will definitely make the drive back.

I’ve been here a few times now and each time was a great transaction. I think I’ve never gotten ICH here, but I still recommend quarantining new inhabitants, plants, etc. (seperate from the main tank).
On my last visit, I bought some panda corydoras, galaxy rasboras, and plants. They all survived except one, (One of the pandas had a crooked spine) but that was my fault for not inspecting them. I probably couldve got store credit but I neglected to call (my guess is they are locally bred). Not enough to deduct a star though.
The place is easy to locate; it is on the corner of a strip mall and parking is abundant and free.
The place has a wide variety of aquatic supplies for mainly freshwater, but has saltwater stuff as well.
The place is well kept. They have a variety of fish, shrimps, substrates, hard-​scape supplies, tanks, filters, etc.
I live in Riverside county, and although it a quite a drive to come out here, the quality and customer service is worth it. The guys here are friendly and offer great advice, the prices are cheap and reasonable. All of these qualities combined makes this place my favorite fish store.
