Best Buy Mobile

I first came to this Best Buy Mobile in January of 2013 to purchase my very first iPhone, which was the iPhone 5, and they really helped me with the purchase and transferring of my contacts and phone number. The manager is a really cool person to talk to and the staff as well. In October of 2014, I went to the same location to see if they can fix a problem on my iPhone 5, and they told me that they will send me another iPhone 5 for free, but I asked if I can get a upgrade to the iPhone 6. And they said yes. I did the upgrade and they waived the upgrade fee :). Almost everytime I go the West Covina Mall, I would make a visit to the store, some of the staff recognized me and said hi to me. I really appreciated it and I know it made their day. And today, I was on my way to the Food Court, I found out it is no longer there. It is going to be replaced with a Zales. I was surprised about this. But I will have many good memories of this place. The friendly staff and service was tremendous and I am thankful I made my iPhone purchases and upgrade in this store. You will be missed Best Buy Mobile West Covina. You will always be remembered.

Came in to buy a Galaxy Samsung 5’s case for mom. Not many options or choices on the shelf, so we pick out the prettiest looking one. When looking over the case, there was a minor hidden scratch, and took a while for us to talk the rep to give us a discount because of that; he debate so hard due to its already on «special»… But in the end, he let us for costumer will have to win in that type of situation if he wants to make that small sale, and I was able to pay with my Best Buy’s rewards point as well.
So service was okay. He did try to introduce us to upgrading our phone to the new Galaxy Samsung 7 that came out a few days ago, but we were fine with our Gs5 and Gs4. I did support his opinion on the Gs7 though, just not a good time to switch at the moment, that’s all.

Customer service here is EXCELLENT! I purchased a phone here about a year ago and they took time to explain everything to me. Didn’t rush me or try to force a sell on me. I went back to the store a month ago to make another purchase and the service was still fantastic! These guys here are wonderful! They are very kind and have great attitudes! Love this place. I recommend it to anyone!

This place is GREAT! Edward and Tim were very helpful, they didn’t rush us answered all our questions and didn’t make us fell like we had to buy anything. Plus the price compared to other places was great, more than half off everywhere else we checked.

No selection on car audio, no assistance in getting items down from overhead even with store empty. Workers too busy chatting no thanks. Thanks Amazon!

Great customer service. I am very pleased with the service I was provided. They took the time to explain everything to me very throughly. I had a last minute change of heart and decided I would switch from an IPhone 6s to the plus. They had to process my contract all over again. They did not mind at all. Mario was very hands on as far as multi tasking but still took the time to make sure that You felt important and that your business mattered and was appreciated. I was there long enough to witness their work ethics and I must say I was very impressed. I am very happy with my new phone and will be recommending this place to family and friends. Keep up all of your hard work

Love this place! I don’t remember the guy’s name that helped us but Charles helped when the other guy went to lunch. Great customer service from both of them! Will defiantly be back for my next phone!

I was walking by and Abel was passing out flyers showing u can get free tablets, etc. He says to come back soon to see them. There was no pressure. I was walking the mall so the 2^nd time I walked by Charles asked if I wanted a free i-​phone. Told him I wasn’t qualified for an upgrade yet. He said maybe he could save me money on my monthly bill. So I said ok. So I went in and he went to the computer to see. He couldn’t lower my bill. I told him about my 2^nd line to see I could upgrade that phone. He said I could but probably have to pay a little for it. So I upgraded it to a Samsung galaxy 6. I got a case and screen protector put on. Charles was the best. He was a great help. He knew what he was doing. I asked him a couple of questions and he was knowledgeable in answering them. If anybody needs a phone I recommend they come and see Charles or Abel first before they go to the kiosks or stores to get a phone. These two are so nice and they are the best !!! :-)

TEAM LEADER CHARLES IS IN CHARGE!!! Not to be hyperbolic but I just had the most pleasant visit to these types of stores… which prompted me to write my first Unilocal review.
I had came in with some serious concerns regarding my data plans. Charles was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and personable. He provided excellent guidance on how to maximize the utility of my cellular/​data service and prescribed the necessary hardware in order to effectuate that end. At no point did I feel that he was trying to close a sale; it was evident that his primary objective was customer satisfaction.
I will never again waste my time in those Verizon corporate stores that only seek to screw over loyal customers.
From here on out, this will be my go-​to store. If anyone needs their cellular needs addressed, it would behoove them to seek out Charles at this store.

Mobile phone hell. After 1.5−2 hours wait while they poked around on the computer and phone, they announce they can’t take my phone on trade. He had it in possession the whole time. And, they had deactivated my old phone. We walked out. Wasted about 4 hours at 3 Best Buys to get to this point. You might save a little money there due to Best Buy’s promotions. But is it really worth it? They are clueless. Now I have to go to ATT to get it all cleaned up. Don’t be fooled by 5 star reviews by staff and friends.
I did 3 phone upgrades at Best Buy Glendora last year with no problems. It is beyond me why BB Mobile in West Covina is such a mess. I assume poor hiring, poor training, along with archaic systems they use to do the upgrade. That whole mess was about 5 hours out of my life I’ll never get back!

Ok so this store is soooo nice !! Their staff is super cool, friendly and very knowledgable. It’s well organized and clean. Shopping for a phone here couldn’t be any easier! I highly recommend it!

I had the worst experience with Motorola when I ordered my moto X through this store, first of all FedEx lost my package then they said I couldn’t insure my phone it was a big freaking mess, luckily the employees and management in this location are experts at fixing problems and got me set up with a brand new phone fast, if u want it done right this is the only best buy mobile you should be at.

There was a little mix up with the phone that I actually wanted, but the manager Edward went above and beyond to take care of me. Both Edward and the mobile rep Charles have made me a customer for life because of their exceptional customer service. The wait was kind of long, but they warned me before I came in, so I knew what to expect. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

After returning 1-​week later, they were able to resolve all of my problems.
My mom’s Zagg shield was removed and a new one was put on perfectly. My less than 1-​week old phone had been overheating and draining battery like it was air had also been replaced. Their inventory had shown 1 more. They even offered to walk to the Best Buy, also located in the mall, to get one if they couldn’t find the one (from inventory). While Marissa walked to the Best Buy, they found the last one in the back. Charged it and moved all my contacts and pictures over to the new one. Put on a new Zagg shield. All free of charge! We must’ve went at the perfect time because we didn’t have the long wait like last time but overall very satisfied.

I walked in to this best buy mobile wanting to return my iPhone 5 I purchased from another best buy. (Only reason I came to this best buy was because the other one was out of stock.) First they told me they weren’t able to do it, I had to go back to the other best buy where I bought it from. Right after I told them I wanted to buy an iPhone 5s, soon after that they told me if they can see my receipt and ‘somehow” they were able to return it. If I wouldn’t have told them I wanted to buy something they would have never helped me. Also, there customer service sucks they didn’t even say thank you or anything after I was done!

These guys are awesome, as far as cellphones go, they helped me out more than Best buy the big store, the manager was very knowledgeable and knew all the info and was honest and his reps were awesome too, they provide as many options for you for to get the phone you need #iphone5s (wink) i would definitely recommend these guys idk who wrote the 1 star comment but i read it its the exact opposite when you go there thanks guys we love our phones.

**After my ordeal and confrontation with these guys, my credit card info (that they used) was stolen and false charges were made in another state. This was the last place I used that card before it happened. I cannot confirm if it is them for certain, but would warn others if their info is stolen as well.
1. This place is ALL about sales because of their manager. They will lie, cheat and steal to boost their numbers and lower their losses. I went to another Best Buy, and those salesmen ALL know this guy by name. He has a reputation amongst Best Buy mobile salesmen, and it is not good. They just gave me this look, and asked «Was it _​_​_​_​?» When I confirmed it was, they just had this sad smile on their face.
2. They will NOT honor Best Buy’s return policy if it is not in their interest. Best Buy clearly has a 30-​day return policy, but this store would not take back an iphone that came out of the box damaged. I had to call corporate, and waste 2 trips to this store arguing with the salespeople. They blame the damage on you, and cite the part about the policy that says they will not take back damaged products.
The manager lied about their inventory, and tried to sell me a used open box phone when they had plenty of brand new ones in the back. I actually drove away with the open box phone, and called pretending to be another customer. When they said «sure we have new ones» I went back and confronted him about it.
No apology, but he makes up some lame excuse about how he had to because it was the second phone I was purchasing from them. You would think he’d send me to the front of the line to take care of this, but he said I had to wait behind other customers when I clearly arrived first (since they already had my money, they wanted to make more sales).
They do anything to boost sales. The manager knew I was ready to buy, so he bumped 3 people in line ahead of me. I went in to buy 2 phones. It took 3 hours because not only did he send people ahead of me, he then spent time trying to sell them cases and accessories when I was still waiting. I also had to drive back to try to return the used phone he tried to pawn off on me, and waste another trip trying to return the damaged phone.
It’s one of those scummy used-​car salesmen experiences. Try another location.

Great customer service, great deals & no long wait! Everyone is so friendly & welcoming! All very helpful too!
