On a whim we stopped by after an awful experience at David Bridal in Monrovia. With no appointment, we were just hoping we could look around and see what was available.
We were immediately greeted by staff, and actually given a fitting room and an assigned salesperson when one became available.
They were informed about what bridesmaid dresses were available by my wedding date, and really worked to help us find the right style of dress. It was a 1,000 times better experience than what we dealt with at David’s Bridal. I would highly recommend visiting this store before trying DB.

I’m going to be a bridesmaid in my cousins wedding in August. My cousin let us pick our own styal of dress just with nothing with sparkle, a bit simple and the color she would like for us to wear. The date is getting closer and closer and i have yet to find something, then i discover this place. Finally something! I and my aunt walked in, there was a nice lady by the name of Josie. She was so nice as to help us, even tho we didn’t have an appointment. I showed her the color i needed and she provided many beautiful dresses. But the issue with the wedding being so close. She said the dresses would take a bit longer to arrive if ordered, but there was also another option. Dresses that are at a wearhouse. She showed me what was available and i got to try the samples that were available in store. Happy to say i found something that i loved and it would take a shorter time to arrive. She was also so kind as to give me a discount because is was a wearhouse dress. Another great thing is that she measures me to know what i could get, which i had no idea about, thank you Josie. I just had an over all great experience and she catered to exactly what i wanted and needed in a dress. I am and already spreading the word.

I had a great experience here! Sunday I had my 2^nd appointment, which was to pick up my dress and to find a dress for my bridesmaids. My first appointment was in February the minute a walked in I was greeted and felt welcomed. I like to take this time to thank Lisa for helping me find my wedding gown. She was very helpful. I told her what I wanted and what I didn’t want. I didn’t have to try on so many dresses before I found the one I loved I was so pleased by her service. You can really see she loves what she does. As I tried on every dress she described it to me from top to bottom. She really knows her dresses. I will definitely recommend her. When I went for my 2^nd appointment this sunday with my bridesmaids I am pleased to say she helped me find the right dress for them. With my 8 bridesmaids and all their opinions I’m glad she was able to find the right dress. Thank u so much Lisa! Thanks to you i have one less thing I have to stress out about before my big day. Alfred Angelo has the most beautiful dresses with styles and price points for every bride. Throughout the search for my perfect dress I went to a few other shops and Alfred Angelo was the best all around. The customer service is great, the dresses are of excellent quality (not so at David’s Bridal) and there are actually sizes for curvy/​plus size women to try on. (Not so at Bellasposa)
I came to Alfred Angelo 3 times before saying yes to a dress and each time my stylist was Jackie, she is the best! Every single visit she was very patient, sweet, fun and understanding.
My 1^st appointment was around March and I thought I fell in love with a lace dress. But the theme for my wedding is 1920s/​Great Gatsby so that lace dress was not at all right for the theme. So I kept looking.
For my 2^nd appointment I came with my maid of honor and bridesmaid. We knew we needed to look in a new direction, no lace but instead beading and embellishment. Jackie pulled 4 amazing dresses (she really understands bride’s style) that were exactly what we asked for. And this time we really found the one. The moment Jackie showed it to me I felt it was special and once it was on I knew it was the one for me and would perfectly with my theme. So now I just needed my mom who is paying for the dress to say yes.
So appointment number 3 I came with my mom, aunt and godmother. Jackie
was so excited for me and said she would fight for me and my dress if my mom didn’t like it. (Like a friend would) But thank goodness she didn’t have to put up a fight because they all loved the dress. Jackie put a headband on me and a cathedral veil that just made the whole look come together. And we finally said yes. I can’t wait for my dress to come in!
Jackie really made the process so fun and easy. I never felt rushed or like a bother, or like a number. Jackie and the other ladies in the store really care about their customers. I’m very happy to be an Alfred Angelo bride.

I’m extremely pleased with store 44 West Covina CA. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful and made my experience amazing as I picked my wedding gown to selecting my bridesmaid dresses to alterations to even the final steps of sending my gown out to get preserved
Carmen listened to all the details I spoke about when talking about my ideal wedding gown. She selected the perfect wedding gowns for me to try on and out of the 5 she brought me I found the ONE… She even recommend colors and styles for my bridesmaids dresses and we found the perfect one as well. She always made sure I was a happy camper and she was just absolutely so caring and helpful.
Throughout going in a few times leading up to my wedding Jackie, Kim and Lorena assisted me if Carmen was not available and all of them were great with me and so informative. And they also helped select head pieces and jewelry that added final touches to my look.
Lastly Lisa helped me fill out and pack my wedding gown and veil in the preservation box and shipped it out for me and answered all my questions. She was a HUGE help and I was so thrilled they offer that service.
Hands down the BEST staff. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone getting married to go visit them as you will not be disappointed.

YOU NEED TO ASK FOR CARMEN! I went last week to find my wedding dress and Carmen helped me out. She is the most sweetest person I have ever met. She listened to what I want and she pull 5 dresses and one wild card. We tried all 5 of the dresses and I like them but they were not the dress. So she ask if I wanted to try the wild card and I told her yeah. When I walked out to show my family and I finally turned around to the mirror I fell in love with the dress. Without her being there I don’t think I’ve would of found a dress. She made my wedding dress experience so fun and wonderful.

They purposely order dresses too small or too big in order for you to have to pay alterations. The quality of dresses are decent for what you pay but doesn’t make sense having to fork out $ 200 extra for alterations. Thats the point of taking measurements.

Having been recently engaged, I came here in search for a dress for my engagement party. In my mind, if this place worked out, it would also be where I shop for my wedding dress.
I had a chance to work with Sophia, who was training at the time. She was very patient and kind. She was also knowledgeable in making suggestions for dresses in a similar style to those I liked. After trying on several dresses and narrowing down my color selection, I placed an order (style 7298 S, $ 165). The sample dress I tried on was an 8, and it was too big. After getting my measurements and verifying it with another employee (Sophia was in training), both she and the other employee suggested that I order the dress in size 6.
Fast forward to a 1.5 months before my engagement party. I received a call saying that my dress arrived and that it’s ready for pick up. I returned to the store and Lisa helped me. She seemed a little rushed as she gave me a room to try on my dress. After getting my dress on, I needed help with the zipper at the back. I waited for a while, and Lisa was nowhere to be found. My mom ended up having to call another employee (Jillian) to help me with my dress. I also wanted to purchase a corset, since I like that it is strapless and would be useful for my engagement photoshoot. After getting my dress zipped up, I noticed that it was a little tight. I headed out towards a mirror and my mom gave me a strange look. I was aghast looking at myself in the mirror. The dress from the waist down was excellent, but the fit of the top of my dress was awful. It accentuated my arms in a not-​so-​pleasant way (think fat coming out from under the shoulders). Jillian suggested that I make an appointment with the seamstress to get the top part of my dress fixed. I did make an appointment, but I ended up cancelling because I didn’t want to put any more money into the dress (alterations would have cost another $ 50, based on quote).
Now, about the corset. I did purchase the corset from Jillian (same day as trying on dress). When I got to my car, I decided to check it, and I saw a huge pink stain on the inside of it. I went back into the store and showed the corset to Jillian. She told me to hold on to the corset and that she would order a brand new one for me (the stained one would go back to the manufacturer as a defect). A week later, she followed through with what she said.

On Saturday, ⁰⁴⁄₁₆ I went in to my first appointment ever to try on wedding dresses. To be honest I was skeptical about finding my dress on my first visit… I had 3 appointments lined up with other bridal stores. When I arrived I was quickly greeted. I was introduced to Carmen and she was a delight to work with from the beginning. She was helpful, attentive and patient. After trying on a few dresses I found my dress!!! I want to give a special THANK YOU to CARMEN. Even though my appointment took well over 2 hours she continuously reassured me and assisted me along the way. Needless to say I didn’t go to my other 3 appointments. If you’re going to this location ask for Carmen you won’t be disappointed

Im going to start off with what i didnt like, i felt like the facility was to small and the dress collection was a little unorganized in placement.
Im a bridesmaid to a bride that is not easy to read. when we walked in we were nicely greated by staff and was informed that the person who would be helping us was finishing up with a bride, totally fine because we were early. Immediately we felt important but was a bit nervous about the appointment because like i said before, the location was small, I thought uh oh! shes not going to find anything.
I was wrong, we were introduced to LISA, she was energetic, personal with the bride and so detailed with the dresses, at one point i wanted to buy a dress lol! I recently got married and i wish she would of helped me. Lisa is also very honest. The whole party had there opinions and we would have probably picked some other dress then what the bride picked but what mattered was what the bride wanted and she never steered away from that. Lisa explained in detail about cut, shape, size, material i can go on and one… she took her time with the bride and brought out alot of dresses with no frustration or hesitation. The bride had gone to other bridal shops and wasnt treated as well as she was here at Alfred Angelo. Our bride found her beautiful dress. Our bride found what she wants to wear on her one special moment. let me tell you we were all crying.
We had a little wine alot of pictures and definitely a great experience. Lisa was the right person appointed to us, that women knows her bridal. cant wait to go back for bridesmaid dresses.

West Covina store — The sample dress my bridesmaid tried on was a size 4. It fit perfect! they ordered her a size 4. Dress comes in and its literally 2 sizes too small. She did not gain any weight! Now they tell us that sample dresses get loose sometimes. Ohhh well thank you for that information when we have ordered and received the dress! That would have been good to know before we ordered the dress!!! I believe your stores purposely order too small or too large so that we will pay more in alterations. I took the dress elsewhere for alteration. Dress fits fine now…$ 40 later, at least it wasn’t $ 80 your store wanted to charge us for the alterations.
Rancho Cucamonga store — The sample dress my bridesmaid tried on was a size youth 10. Dress comes in and it’s literally 2 sizes too big! $ 80 later dress fits. Pattern? Yes, I think so! We will never use your stores again.

Last month, my sister in law suggested we stop by Alfred Angelo to look for a second dress for the second wedding dinner. I was greeted by Lisa, one of the consultants who then introduced me to Carmen my consultant/​stylist — who turned out to be the absolute the best wedding stylist I’ve ever worked with. I went into the store with low expectations since I had already found my wedding gown in NYC and low and behold I was wrong. Carmen totally surprised me and after a little bit of searching a few dresses around the store, I allowed Carmen to pick out a few gowns and she found my wedding gown and trumped the one I had on hold in NYC! Carmen helped me find my wedding gown and it fit like a glove!!! Who knew I would look so good in a sweetheart strapless!!! Thanks for giving me the right foundation that helped put everything in place
I didn’t just get my wedding gown but bought my 2^nd dress (2^nd wedding dinner) and 3^rd (closing/​dance) dress. Who knew! The price of all three dresses and accessories equated to one dress in NYC!!! Extra savings equals jimmy choos
A big shout out and big hug to Carmen who was so warm, kind and welcoming and most of all, so much better than the consultants I’ve dealt with in NYC. She was an absolute professional and was honest and not pushy nor trying to make a sale but giving me an experience of a lifetime. I had so much fun playing dress up, thanks for such a memorable experience! I’ll see you in late July for my fitting!

I had gone to another bridal salon and they were very nice, however I had a gut feeling and didn’t leave with a dress that day. After talking to my fiancée he told be that the style that I was looking for did not look bridal to him (mermaid/​trumpet). he told me a bride with a princess style of dress was what he had in mind. I immediately freaked! I am a very curvy woman so a princess style dress was the last thing on my mind. I ALWAYS thought that I would look bigger. what bride wants too look BIGGER on their wedding day! OH NO!
I made an appointment online for Alfred Angelo super easy! they called a day before to confirm. I showed up not knowing what to expect and then… Lisa came along…
WOW!!! this woman is a true asset to this salon!
she sat with me and asked all the pertaining question, style, budget, and preferences. after we got done she pulled some of the most gorgeous dresses EVER! and all my anxiety about the BIG POOFY dress went away. I tried on a total of 5 dress all with in my budget and she truly made me feel like a princess bride. Not one of the dresses was too small so I could truly see what they would look like. Most important she was honest and not trying to sell me the most expensive dress in the salon. She was funny, personable and accommodating truly Made the whole experience. She even let my little flower girl try on some flower girl dresses!!! (super brownie points!)

First time here and I have to say that they have a great customer service. Everyone there was friendly, attentive and very very nice. This is my fourth wedding and I got to say they are WAY better than David’s Bridal!
Daphne was great! She greeted us and just made sure all four of us and the bride were getting the same kind of attention. She definitely was very knowledgeable and always made sure the bride to be was happy with the decisions the bridesmaids were trying to make. I really do appreciate her being understanding with one one of the bridesmaid and very patient with another one. Even though we were a small groups of bridesmaid we seems to have a very opinionated group.
Thank you again Daphne! I will definitely be coming here for future wedding, never going back to Davis’s bridal :)

Hands down this is the place you want to go to for great great service and super individualized attention. Danielle was awesome, she was so attentive to all my needs and made me feel wonderful! I didn’t need to have any help from my bridesmaids to try on dresses since she did it all and was super efficient. Before I knew it my dress was on and I was ready to see it on myself for display. She was sooooo patient and fulfilled all my requests and those of my family. Anything I wanted to try she got me in such a fast timely manner. She even added her personal touch and brought dresses she thought would also work. Jillian

First off, I want to say Daphne is amazing! Simply amazing! She is the stylist that trumps all stylists when it comes to finding THE dress!
When you walk into the store, it looks like a typical bridal store where you see the stylists in front of you and you’ll see dresses all around. What makes the difference is the service. They were very friendly and greeted you with smiles. The place looks very clean and well organized.
My stylist, Daphne, absolutely knows her product in it out. You tell her one thing or a few things like I did, and she knows exactly what to bring you. I was simply amazed when I told her a few of my requirements, and she already had a few dresses picked out in the finger at him. I did not even need to show her the catalog at all. All the ladies here were extremely helpful, but I will have to be a little bit biased because Daphne was the stylist that helped me. We tried on a few dresses, and my cousin spotted the dress, THE dress, by the entrance and three of the stylist quickly took the address off the mannequin and place it on me to try on. She was so amazing when during mid thought, ideas of dresses would pop into her head and she would immediately run to the floor to get those dresses. Looking in the catalog would be pointless. If you tell her what you want, what you already have chosen in the catalog is already in the fitting room without having to tell her. Have I mentioned how amazing she is? I know I’m being repetitive, but I just can’t fathom having any other stylist.
I definitely would recommend this store, any of the stylists, especially Daphne, if you are looking into buying a wedding dress. This place is seriously a gem. The service quality and the quality addresses definitely beats other popular bridal shops, even the popular ones.

I just had my ceremony on Sunday November 1, 2015 and everyone compliment on the dress. My husband love the dress… Only hic up is I do gain some weight and the dress is super tight, thanks to safety pin, it does help secure the dress. Little advice to bride, please do not enjoy to much eating otherwise you might not fit into the dress. :D

I went to Alfred angelo for trunk show and to get some ideas on what silhouettes, fabrics, color and style would be mine wedding dress. I didn’t expect to find the dress. Moreover the store is not the closest one to my apartment.
To my surprise, I did find the dress. Jacquelyn or Jackie is so helpful and knowledgeable. She has eyes and ears. She listens well to what I do like as style, my boyfriend love for Disney as well as my range of budget, she could find a few dresses that corresponding to the info I gave her. The dress I choose is totally a dress that is not a Disney Princess style but a hint of glamour-​disney-​a bit of vintage. She has a eye for fashion, she could find a veil to go with the dress, got the right combination as well as a sash to pop the dress up. The sash makes the dress more interesting. I applause for her ideas. I felt lucky to have Jackie to help me. Her advices are valuable.
So it is a great experience and a relief for me to find the dress. I am so thrilled and excited and can’t wait for the wedding to wear the dress and walk the aisle
ps. Actually my appointment is between 12.00−1.30 pm but Jackie was helpful and eager, I tried a little more than 10 dresses, so I did spent more than 3 hour at the store, but the time there was worth it. Thank to Jackie again.
