I wanted to Unilocal a specific worker by the name of Mary Margaret, who works in the Deli. She went above and beyond to help me. Explaining the different prices and flavors, walking around the counter to point out the different sandwich meats, and even went out of her way to let me taste the a slice of turkey I was debating on buying. She was very friendly and appeared to enjoy what she does. Mary Margaret was very friendly and had great customer service. Hope this gets back to her and she knows what a great job she does.

This review is for the bakery and deli section. They have some really good cupcakes that I have been buying for my kids birthday parties at their school the last few years. Recently, I ordered a tiered cake and requested some changes and it looks great to fit the theme of the party for truly, a fraction of the price. It taste great too!

If I could give no stars, I would!
How about you open more than one lane. You could have one of these people that is standing around talking check people out.

I love this Albertsons. I try to visit them once a week because I don’t want them to close down. All the other locations nearby are gone. I hate Walmart for opening in the same center but never go there anyway. Let’s hope Albertson’s can make it.
Staff: Everyone is extremely nice at this place. Really helpful and makes sure you’re able to find everything.
They also sell dry ice. It’s about $ 1.50 a pound or something. Pretty decent.

Came here to get a last minute cake and gift. My friend and I decided with the Cookies and Cream cake. The cake is actually quite good and price is pretty reasonable. It was a little difficult to find the aisle with cards, but the employees helped us out.

Pristinely clean, all fruit fresh. Highlight of my first time visiting this place? Richard – the Asian American gentleman working at the cash register. He was so helpful, so friendly, and honestly, made my night! Thank you Richard for your outstanding customer service. Give this man a raise! He is truly one in a million.

The service deli is DISGUSTING and DMV slow. The lady over the counter sneezed as she packaged cheese, rubbed her nose and scratched her head while slicing meat… don’t know why she even wore gloves. Another guy came from restocking the chicken area and caughed all the way back to the service deli area. I called to speak to a Manger and of course got transferred 3 different time till the «manager» answered with a «hello», I had to ask are you the manager where he replied yes, I asked for his name and he said John. I told him the hygiene problem his store has. He replied «oh I need to report this to my manager»…ummm hello didn’t you just say you were the manager, «yes, I am» so why would you need to transfer it to another manager, he replied my «store manager». I asked what kind of manager are you, he replied I’m the «store closing supervisor»…wtf, if their management is like this, go figure their service deli is the way it is.

Liz from the bakery is absolutely amazing. She was able to fill my last minute order with ease.

I like coming here to get fresh cut fruit. I think their prices in fresh cut fruits are very reasonable. $ 12 for 3 huge cups. They have some items that you can’t find in other stores like target and Walmart. And I must mention that their strawberries are usually the best among all other places.
However, I realized that most items are way more expensive than other supermarkets. Just like cereals, I can get a small box for $ 2 at target and here they would sell for $ 4. It’s doubled the price!

I like the store friendly worker’s everyone is helpful store is perfect but when i work 11 hours a day and go to the store straight after work to buy Albertsons cookies when i get home i expect them to be soft these were hard as a brick!!! Honestly ruined my night was to tired to go return them… bakery needs to be on top of that Albertsons cookies are supposed to be soft was very dissapointed

I ordered a cake from the bakery for my daughters 3^rd birthday. The cake was a great value I customize it how ever I wanted for example I had 2 different types of cake, different colors and even bought different cake toppers from other cakes to use on mine. the bottom is 8″ and the top is 6″ to serves up to 16 people I believe. They have a display of the cake I ordered. It looks like a colourful birthday cake for $ 34 dollars I think. I ended up paying $ 40 because I bought a Cinderella cake topper. I was very happy with the willingness of the bakers to make it how ever I wanted it.

This market isn’t as friendly as another branch in Chino Hills. I’m sorry to compare it to them, but I had high hopes for Covina’s. It’s just darker and freezing inside. I have to bring a jacket to go here even when it’s 90 degrees out. Staff aren’t friendly nor helpful. Though I like the brand names they carry, I think they rank second to Stater Brothers now. Sorry, «Al», you’re not much fun to visit.
P. S.: the one in Chino Hills has a Starbucks.

I don’t really have any grocery stores near me, so I usually end up stopping at this one.
I like it, it’s clean. With it being at Eastland Shopping Center it could get to be a pain going in/​out of the parking lot.
They always have plenty to choose from in the baked good sections, which comes in handy when work is having a breakfast get together.
The lines of the registers are usually long, but they do have self-​check out. No one ever seems to use the self-​checkout except me, but I’m fine with that.

Albertsons happens to be the most convenient market to me, aside from the infamous new Walmart that opened in the same lot. I really like Albertsons for their deli and meat/​seafood counter and the bakery. They do carry some items that I prefer, that Staters down the road and definitely Walmart do not carry. It is always clean and easy to find someone if you need help. It’s taken me a while to review Albertsons because. well…it’s a market. But my last few weekly trips I have noticed that the produce isn’t that fresh anymore and the strawberries in particular, have been moldy. I also dislike the fact that they let a lot of Girl Scout/​Boy Scout troops sell their items, which is cool… but then you get chocolate sales… bake sales… and that’s outside the door… when you get inside the store, you have other tables set up… root beer floats… candy boquets… hot dogs… like…I haven’t even made it past the flower cooler and I’m getting bombarded to buy something. I get it, they’re helping the community. so I try to look for the good in it… especially after always feeling guilty for saying no because I don’t carry cash. Anywho… the market itself and the employees are great…

The lady manager here needs to get off her lazy ass and work a little harder… I go in and an old man manager helped me with a money gram problem… a week or so later the girl manager refuses to call money gram to fix the problem. when the guy did it for me the week before… why will one person do it and the other wont? Management needs to be more consistent with helping the customer.

I’ve been going to this Albertsons when they used to have a Bank of America inside of it, heck I even opened a checking account in the BofA in there when I was a young teen and now there’s some other bank that replaced BofA
I love albertsons. I have to admit that most of their products here are pricey but they do have some things in particular that are of a good price such as their ice cream and «home made» stuff like cookies, pies, etc.
I like how this albertsons seems so clean and presentable at the same time. The associates though mostly seem to mind their own business and do not like interacting with customers while you’re looking for things down the aisles. There was this one time I was in a hurry and was looking for white vinegar and couldn’t find it and asked a young lady if she knew where it was and she disappeared for a couple minutes and came back and said they didn’t have any. I was pretty bummed when she told me that but while I was making my way towards the cash registers down the aisle. I was just looking at the products and all of a sudden I found a section of vinegar and found my white vinegar. And I thought to myself, wow that girl probably didn’t even try to look for them nor did she even try to ask an associate. (Minus one star for that)
At least once or twice I go here to buy Dreyers ice cream since they always have a good deal with them. The last two tubs of Dreyers ice cream I bought was $ 2.88 each if you buy two tubs. That’s pretty cheap for Dreyers ice cream when they normally are $ 5 – 7 at their competitors.
And of course you need ice cream cones with ice cream right? Well… I’ve bought three different kinds of cones with each of them at different times. And each time I would notice that that 4 – 10 of the cones were cracked as soon as I open the box to grab a cone for an ice cream cone. It totally sucks. And each time I grabbed a box, there would be a 2 – 4 week interval before I get another brand and type of cones. This time I managed to take pictures of the useless cones. Idk what they do before the product goes on the shelf. If whether or not they play football or basketball with the boxes or what but I’m not happy with three consecutive cones have cracked cones in them. I thought it was a certain brand at first but I’ve tried three different brands and all of them had at least 33% of the cones being cracked. So basically that’s another star deducted from this review.
Anyway, minus the girl associate experience and come experience. It still won’t stop me from buying tubs of ice cream from them.

I have to religiously check dates on my yogurts as I put them in my cart at this store because more than half the time they have expired yogurt on the shelf.
Today I just realized I’m drinking expired orange juice that I bought at albertsons. I didn’t think to check the OJ as religiously as I do yogurts/​eggs/​almond milk. I feel nauseous pissed and worried as I’m pregnant and don’t want to be sick or get my baby sick.
I’ll be driving out of my way to sprouts in chino from now on. Most of the markets in the Covina area, suck, in my opinion.

I like that it’s quiet in the mornings. Although, I do think that some of the items are more expensive than other places. I do not know if the freshness would have anything to do with it, but Albertson’s produce are a bit fresher than other places. If you don’t mind the bit of wilt or can’t even tell the difference, you would cringe a bit at the price difference. I just like it here because of convenience. If I go to the other stores, I would end up paying the difference in gas. I’m happy with this place. Friendly workers too!

That produce dept. is awesome and artistically prepped.
The prices aren’t bad and you do get some good deals.
And «YES» I’m gonna BBQ in the rain.

It’s great that it’s right off the freeway so it can easily be found. They have quite the helpful staff, which remember your questions waaayyy after you have asked. They will point you in the correct direction of your needed items, and if you happen to bump into them later on during your shop, they nicely ask again if you found what you were looking for. Such great customer service!
They have a pretty good selection, so I rarely have trouble looking for certain things. But of course, the staff is always available to answer your many questions and will be more than happy to do so.
The deal breaker: checking out… I’ve never experienced a time where I had to wait more than 5 min for checkout. Their checkout lines are rather more efficient than most. And they have the convenient self check out right in front of the main entrance!
