Complete waste of time. I’ve been here twice, both times due to reviews and lack of options in the area. Hopefully, my review will help others. This indy mechanic shop is pretentious and charges dealer rates. They are only after billable labor charges. They will not help your situation and will only offer services that are profitable to them. I towed my car in Monday morning after a few lug bolts snapped on a rear wheel. It took the shop 2.5 days later to give me a $ 3700 estimate, telling me to replace all my wheels because they were «out of spec.» Btw, I have aftermarket wheels that are custom forged and likely better than any oem pos they were trying to sell me for $ 3000. All this could’ve been replaced with new lug bolts and center rings, which they REFUSED to fix as their shop policy is «we only offer authentic MB parts.» I knew I was played the moment they said that. Any good Indy will give you options and work with your situation. These guys will not troubleshoot to find you alternatives, they will tell you to replace EVERYTHING they think is off — simply for billable charges.
In the end, after refusing services they still had the nerve to flip me a bill for labor that included moving my car in their garage and putting a spare on. That bill was $ 370, 3 hours of labor @ $ 115/​hr. That’s about the same rates MB of cherry hill charges. I should also mention you’ll spend most your day playing phone tag with the receptionist who never calls you back. That’s probably the only person you’ll talk to. Oh and don’t think your car is being worked by «master» MB mechanics. You likely won’t see the master tech get his hands dirty because he’s probably busy in his office finding every little charge to put on your bill. Matter of fact, you’ll rarely see anyone working on cars here even though their lot appears to be full. They likely outsource minimum wage techs to fix your five figure jobs in the back.
If you don’t care to get ripped off, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I paid these guys $ 370 to put a spare on, plus $ 300 on wasted towing charges. I refused their services and towed my car to my regular mechanic who was able to fix my whole ordeal for $ 150. I guess altogether I saved a lot more than $ 3700.

I was recommended by a friend and thank him every time I see him. The prices are the best for Mercedes service but even more important is how quickly they respond and work to make auto repair a pleasant experience. Thank you for being there for me when I need you!

A complete and utter waste of my time. I needed some work done to my car and I was trying to avoid the high labor charges I’ve been paying at the dealerships for routine tasks. The first shop that I went to was some ripoff artist that gave me this outrageous quote. They wanted to charge dealership labor rates but were obviously not Mercedes mechanics. So I read all the good reviews and found C.S. Cantlin. I made an appointment for early Saturday morning. I already knew what kind of work needed to be done to the car. I showed up that morning and the mechanic or owner didn’t know I was coming in until he scrolls through the appointment book.
He did his inspections and diagnostics and comes back to tell me what I knew in the first place but charges me $ 160 (pssst the other place didn’t charge). Ok that’s great you found out what was wrong but how much are you going to charge me to get it fixed? That’s why I’m here so early in a Saturday morning. He said he had to go through and crunch numbers and do whatever else he had to do and he would email me a copy. I never heard from him again. My phone call wasn’t returned. Hey maybe business was so good that they didn’t need mine. That was my experience with them and yes I’ve had much better.

They are as good as it gets. Charlie and his staff know cars but more importantly they know customer service. I have worked at foreign car repair shops and understand the difficulty it entails, especially on a 25 year old car. They made sure it was fixed properly and that I was taken care of. Thanks!

I brought them my 03 CLK320 for an oil change and some minor work about a year ago. (³⁄₂₀₁₃). Their claim to concierge service is pretty much spot on. Flawless work at reasonable prices, certainly better than a dealer. They gave me a list of other items that needed attention, which I decided to have them fix — told them I would drop the car off Sunday to avoid a pending bad snow storm and when we got there someone was there to let us put the car in their garage.
And only 5 minutes from home…

I have never felt so comfortable going to an auto repair shop than C. S Cantlin. Their front desk folks listened to me and delivered on all promises exceeding my expectations! When we talked about a front spoiler that needed repair, boom… they gave me straight scoop and we both agreed that we could use the existing spoiler and replace the bracket only as it only had a little scratch on it… cost $ 400 vs other guys who told me i needed to replace it all at cost of $ 3000.
I will now consider buying a Mercedes again when the time comes as these guys are real deal. TRUSTED!!!
