It is entirely too warm in the store. Even with it being 75 degrees outside the heat was on full blast inside. My yogurt was warm and the cookie dough I bought would not hold it’s shape it was so warm. I didn’t even finish my shopping due to the temperature inside. Even though this store is 5 minutes from my house I don’t believe I will go there again. Mangers are dismissive of when you speak to them. I think it will be healthier to travel further down the road than to purchase anything that is perishable there.

I don’t normally shop at Bi-Lo, prices are usually too high and it’s out of the way. However, on a whim I glanced at their sales flyer, and they had a few things on sale that I buy regularly, and the prices were less than what I paid at Food Lion. So, off I went. Overall the store was very clean, and everything seemed to be alright. I went to the produce section to buy a few things, and the overall quality was not impressive, I am not sure if it was because it was Sunday and I got last pick, or what. Overall, the produce I wanted was not very«fresh». However, for the most part this store seems to be alright. I plan to stop again and do more shopping here. But I still feel that they are the higher end of prices compared to other stores.

We waited in a long line after a hour of shopping. My husband is on crutches with CP and I have SLE. It was a lot of work and standing all that time adds to it. Then the man ahead of us blows over his meat. The line stops. They can’t resolve the issue. Another 10 minutes pass as two people negotiate with him holding up the line. Our groceries are on the belt and several carts are behind us. Finally Jasmine announces she is the manager. She takes the irate man to customer service but leaves the register locked up. I ask for a manager, but am told she is the manager. I ask again for the store manager as we are told to go to the back of another line behind several full carts. We leave our cart and leave, telling Jasmine that a new line should have been opened so we would not have to wait on another line. She threw her hands up… made some comment about not having the time… as we left w/o our groceries. This was poor customer service. I went to the CVS next door to be sick and asked for assistance to get the 1 – 888 number for bilo to complain. They assisted me, and it was not their problem. This is good customer service. Why does anyone put up with you all. especially the disabled… my husband is visibly disabled. This was the Emmanuel Church Store in West Columbia, SC.

Beware. Ad prices are not always correct on your sales receipt. The buy one get one free I was charged full price. Sale price on one item different at register. They cheated me out of $ 13.00 dollars.
