Hightails Hideaway specializes in top-​quality dog daycare and overnight boarding in a clean, sunlit, spacious new indoor/​outdoor facility which is fully staffed and licensed. Friendly dogs and puppies are welcome and are together during the day playing on our large indoor arena with rubber flooring or outside in the fresh air romping on our pet turf. At night they are tucked into individual large custom suites for a well-​deserved rest and are monitored via webcams. Adult dogs, puppies, seniors and dogs with special health requirements are all welcome at Hightails Hideaway and have done very well with us.

History

Established in 2011.

Hightails Hideaway opened its doors on June 1, 2011 and has been happily welcoming new families and their pups into the circle of clients who are now calling Hightails Hideaway their home-​away-​from-​home! Our facility is designed to welcome all humans and their canine companions with an open-​door policy and the care and attention that all customers deserve and look for.

Meet the Business Owner

Leigh C.

Business Owner

Leigh has her B. S in Medical Technology from Northern Illinois University. During her professional career at Hines VA Hospital, Abbott Laboratories and TAP Pharmaceuticals, Leigh also continuously developed her skills and educational background in dog behavior and care. She started her pet-​sitting business in 1998 and opened a dog daycare and boarding facility in 2003 with a business partner. In 2011, Leigh sold her half of that company and opened Hightails Hideaway to offer top-​quality dog daycare and overnight boarding to the families of Wheaton, Winfield, Geneva and surrounding communities.
