The Snooty Fox

Pathetic selection. Way way over priced. Staff is not that helpful. They wanted $ 65 for an older style Coach purse that was dirty. You’d be better finding one on clearance at the outlet up the road. I suggest skipping this place altogether.

I can only speak to the shopping experience at this Snooty Fox location, as I brought in only one off-​season dress and the staff very politely asked me to bring it back in the springtime.
I was generally pleased with the experience at the store — items were well-​organized, and there was a decent variety of clothing varying from casual to fairly dressy. I happened upon a few gems (like a brand-​new Nanette Lepore party dress) as well as a fair amount of typical consignment-​store fare (Ann Tayor, H&M, etc). I particularly liked the blouse selection — lots of stuff that reminded me of Anthropologie items. The shoe collection was a bit sparse, but otherwise they offered a decent selection. The home décor section did not meet my preferred furniture aesthetic, though I imagine that people who prefer a rustic or craftsy sort of home décor vibe might be excited about the household items. Overall, prices of both clothing and home items were moderate (not too pricey but not a superb deal), and there was a nicely discounted clearance section.
Though I didn’t make a purchase, I will definitely stop by The Snooty Fox again in the future — you never know when a great item will be in stock!

I took a designer dress that my sister bought for prom from Snooty Fox in West Chester back to Snooty Fox in West Chester with the tags still on it and they wouldn’t accept it. Somehow it wasn’t good enough for them even though it clearly came from them. So pathetic! And boy were the rude!!! They treated me like a second class citizen who was begging for a handout when really I just wanted to sell that stupid dress that my sister never wore!

Don’t go to Snooty Fox in West Chester to drop off your clothes. I just went and was «greeted» by Robin with a «you’re gonna just have to wait», not even a «hello, how are you». Nice customer service… NOT. She was rude during the whole process. Snooty Fox doesn’t have an electronic database of customer names so it took a while to find my information (my last name was spelled incorrectly). Robin also passed up in a brand new Longchamp bag, a winter blouse from the Loft and other good brands in good shape… when I asked why she passed up in some the items (I told her it would be good to know so I could determine if it was worth it to try to go elsewhere) she said it was because that is what SHE decided on. She also said the blouse was summer, even though I bought it in December for a holiday party. Rude, Disorganized, and not a lucrative trip. Why go here when there is Poshmark. A little more effort but worth it.

Snooty Fox is an upscale consignment shop with several locations in the Cincinnati area. My mom and my grandma love this shop, they take in their formal wear that can only really be worn once, sign it in, and then they get a call a few weeks later that someone has purchased it and they can come pick up their cash.
I’m not a big fan of Snooty Fox because I prefer the instant gratification of places like Plato’s Closet that give you money for your clothes the second you drop them off. At Snooty, they wait until they actually sell the item before you see any cash… granted, it is normally more than you would have received from a place like Plato’s, but I just don’t have the patience to wait.
Snooty is a good place to go shopping if you are in the market for formal wear at drastically reduced prices; they only take clothing that is in really good condition so you know you’re getting something nice. Many of the Snooty locations also offer gently used furniture at cheap prices, great for furnishing first apartments and homes… the West Chester location doesn’t have much but they usually have a few pieces.
