These guys are the stuff of legend! Mailed the two pairs of riding boots and got them back very quickly. They patched the worn out interior of one pair of very high end riding boots and repaired the «blown out» zipper on another pair. Great communication and the work was completed at a very fair price. They should be proud of the service they deliver

Great work conducted by friendly people. I’ve taken several pairs of shoes here and am always stunned by the results, not to mention they are always done quickly. The price is always more than reasonable. I also took a nice leather bag with a torn strap here on a whim thinking they might be able to help. It was fixed up like new in 48 hours for less than $ 15!

I wanted to drop 2 pairs of shoes off unfortunately today it’s 9:14 and no one could make to work on time. I guess business is booming! No need to show up for work! A Little irritated as you can tell.

I bought a pair of shoes in Spain while studying abroad there last fall. I loved them, but unfortunately a smooth heel meant I fell on my ass every time I wore them while walking on a wet surface. Living just a few blocks away, I visited to see what he could do. He offered to adhere a rubber heel, and promised to have them done in a few days. I picked them up a week or so later, and they were ready to go and even cleaned! Payment is requested up front, but as they only accept cash or check and I had no cash (and stopped carrying around a checkbook years ago), he let me pay when I picked up the pair. Friendly, great workmanship, fair prices ($ 18) and wonderful customer service. I can’t wait for the fall to try out the new heels! Thanks!

Joe Pisano gives new life to vintage boots at a fair price.
After he completed a third consecutive excellent repair/​alteration, I had to give Joe his due. I have only dealt with him by telephone and email, sending boots back and forth by mail. He takes the time to discuss the requirements, provides an honest and knowledgeable assessment, and delivers on time at the agreed upon price.
Thanks to Joe Pisano, I get to enjoy some old favorites again.
